Kristin Cavallari's kids resort to honesty when asked about her new reality show
Kristin Cavallari is bringing her kids into the spotlight.
The 38-year-old 'Laguna Beach' alum shares three children — sons Camden Jack, 12, and Jaxon Wyatt, 11, and daughter Saylor James, 9 — with her ex-husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler.
On June 3, the trio made their official debut as guests on Cavallari's 'Let's Be Honest' podcast.
The family talked about everything from breaking rules at school to making money through their 'booming businesses,' which includes window-washing for Camden and cleaning trash bins for Jaxon.
They also talked about their first experience filming a reality TV show.
The three kids will be featured on Cavallari's newest reality series, 'Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour,' which premieres June 4 on E! and will be available to stream on Peacock.
When asked about the filming process, Cavallari's three kids alluded to honesty.
'Some of it was boring and then some of it was fun,' Saylor quipped, adding that she wasn't too fond of sitting around and talking with cameras around.
Her comment was met with jokes from her two brothers.
'It's not like we talk like a family ever,' Camden joked. 'Remember whenever we ate dinner and we had to talk to each other? Instead of just sitting there in silence…'
As for their favorite part of filming, it appears the three kids enjoyed having a microphone on them.
'Them putting the mic on you. And then you'd be like, 'Check check,' and then they'd look at you,' Camden replied, mimicking the sound crew giving him a thumbs up.
Despite the mixed review, the trio admitted that filming lived up to their expectations.
'I just thought they'd come, put some cameras up, put some mics and then we'd just talk and film,' Camden said of what he expected.
Cavallari went on to describe it as a 'fun and easy experience' for everyone.
'Out of all the TV shows that I've done, it was the easiest in the sense where they sort of let us be ourselves instead of telling us what to say,' she said, adding that the show was primarily unscripted.
She also praised her kids for not being nervous and being their 'normal, bubbly, fun selves.'
Welcoming her three kids to the spotlight is something Cavallari avoided for much of their childhood.
Now that they're getting older, Cavallari says she's more open now than ever before about featuring them on social media, her podcast and, soon, her reality show.
'It is nice for me to be able to show that with people because my kids are the biggest part of my life. They always have been since I became a mom,' Cavallari said in an interview with People, published June 1.
'And I could only let people in so much without showing my kids, so to be able to now share that world with everybody?' she added. 'People [can] see at the end of the day, I am just a normal mom.'
Despite the hesitation, Cavallari says her decision to feature her kids was a long time coming.
In fact, her three kids have been asking her to post about them 'for years.'
'I guess it was maybe a year and a half ago that I finally posted Camden. He's almost 13, Saylor is 9 — she'll be 10 in the fall,' Cavallari told People.
'In my perfect world, would they all be 12 [before] deciding if they were posted? Sure. But also, it's just not realistic,' she added.
Nonetheless, Cavallari says she's enjoying her life as a 'normal mom.'
'I'm going to basketball practice and games like every other parent. I'm at school. I was on a field trip last Friday. I am doing all the normal mom things,' she told the outlet.
'And I think it's probably good for people to see because I think people's idea of me is very different than who I actually am,' she explained.

Insiders Reveal Taylor Swift's Life With Travis Kelce in Florida Is a Total 180 From Her Usual Lifestyle
Taylor Swift might be one of the most recognizable faces on the planet, but in Florida, she's just another person out for a morning walk — with security in tow, of course. The singer has been quietly living in Boca Raton as boyfriend Travis Kelce trains for the upcoming NFL season, and according to insiders, their low-key routine is a far cry from the red carpets and arena tours Swift is used to. 'They're living fairly normally here,' a source told Life & Style. 'She hasn't been spotted much, but everyone is buzzing that she's here.' Despite the buzz, the couple seems to have found something close to peace in the Sunshine State. 'When they go out to eat or have drinks, people let them be,' the source added. More from SheKnows How Much Does a Meal Cost at Taylor Swift's Go-To Italian Restaurant? That includes a recent date night at Harry's in West Palm Beach, where Swift sipped white wine in an off-the-shoulder floral dress — perhaps part of Kelce's recent $80,000 wardrobe splurge on the 'Blank Space' singer — while Kelce opted for a cocktail and a casual button-down. The two were spotted holding hands and flanked by security, making it low-profile for them. The pair has kept things relatively under wraps since the Chiefs' 2025 Super Bowl loss, but reports suggest they've been living together in the Boca rental Kelce picked up this spring. On a May episode of the New Heights podcast, he slyly mentioned, 'We've got chimneys and we've got furniture,' prompting Swifties to translate 'we' into cohabitation confirmation. Insiders say this quieter chapter has only strengthened their bond. 'It's been a dream period that's only solidified that they're on the same page about their future,' a source told Life & Style, adding that the downtime 'allowed them to grow closer and be even more certain.' Of course, even Swift's soft-launch sabbatical has a backstory worthy of a rom-com. Gigi Hadid's sister Marielle recently claimed she gave Swift a nudge toward Kelce after a tarot reading — encouraging the pop star to go for it, even if it was just 'for a good lay.' Nearly a year later, the couple is still very much together, navigating the NFL off-season like two very famous homebodies. According to Daily Mail, their days include couple workouts, morning lattes, and yes — Kelce giving Swift massages after learning how to dial down the football strength. For now, it looks like they've traded in Eras-era chaos for domestic calm — and surprisingly, Swift seems just fine blending in.
