'I had two small kids...' This actor was once invited to Underworld's party, got scared after he said no, then..., his name is...
It's no surprise that the underworld had a major influence over the Hindi film industry during the 1980s and 1990s. During that time, in late 80s, Aamir Khan had a tense encounter with the underworld, receiving an invitation from them to attend their party in Middle East. The actor, who became a renowned star following the release of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak , revealed that how he refused their invitation, and later on got petrified for himself and his family. When Aamir Khan refused underworld's invite for a party
While speaking to The Lallantop, Aamir Khan recalled, 'I'd said no to the invite to attend their party in the Middle East, probably Dubai. Some people from the underworld had visited me to invite me to the party,'
The actor said that the underworld members kept coming back, trying to convince him. 'They tried a lot. They offered me money and offered to get any work done of my choosing. I still refused to come. They quickly changed their tone and said I'd have to come now because my presence had already been announced, and it was a prestige issue,' he said. When Aamir Khan got scared after rejecting the invitation?
Aamir said that things became intense when he made them clear in their final meetup. 'I said, 'You've been meeting for a month and I've been telling you right from the start that I wouldn't come. You're very powerful so you can bash me up, hit me on the head, tie my hands and legs, and take me forcibly wherever you want, but I wouldn't come on my own.' So they stopped contacting me after that.'
While he remained adamant, the actor admitted that he was scared- not just for himself but for his family as well. He recalled, 'I had two small kids then. My parents were very concerned. They said, 'What are you doing? They're very dangerous.' So I had said only one thing to them then, 'I want to live my life the way I want. I don't want to go there.' He concluded, 'I was more concerned for the ones close to me.'
On the professional front, Aamir Khan is currently seen in Sitaare Zameen Par , the spiritual sequel to its 2007 blockbuster release Taare Zameen Par.

'Hum gareeb hain': Dilip reacts as Ram Kapoor says Farah Khan owns a mini building on top of a massive one
Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan recently visited Ram Kapoor and Gautami Kapoor's house in South Bombay with her cook, Dilip, for her new vlog. The filmmaker was visibly awestruck by their beautiful home and some of its luxurious fittings, such as a movie room and a large, lips-shaped chair in the bathroom. However, Ram also shared some interesting details about Farah's house with the viewers. Ram Kapoor shares details about Farah Khan's luxurious house. Farah couldn't stop gushing about Ram's home, so the actor decided to reveal some fun details about hers. He shared, "Farah Khan ka ghar shuru hota hai aur fir building khatam hojaati hai par uska ghar khatam nahi hota. Pehle lift mein you go till the top, uske baad ek aur lift hai jo Farah ki private lift hai jo 3-4 maale jaati hai" (Farah Khan's house begins and then the entire building ends, but her house still doesn't end. First, you take the lift to the top, then there's another lift — Farah's private lift — which goes up 3–4 more floors). There's a ground floor, first floor, second floor, and third floor. On the third floor, there's a private terrace and a private swimming pool. So basically, Farah Khan owns a mini building on top of a massive building." Dilip then added a hilarious twist to the conversation by saying, 'Hum gareeb hain (we are poor).' However, Gautami responded cheekily, saying she knows his net worth now, hinting that it's a substantial one. For the unversed, Dilip owns a six-bedroom bungalow in Bihar, where he lives with his family. On the work front, Farah was last seen hosting the show Celebrity MasterChef, which featured Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna, Faisal Shaikh, Dipika Kakar and others as participants. The show was judged by chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, with Gaurav ultimately taking home the title. Ram Kapoor, on the other hand, is currently receiving praise for his performance in the show Mistry. It is the Hindi version of Monk and also stars Mona Singh in a lead role. The series is available to watch on JioHotstar.

Aamir Khan is among the most loved Indian actors. His latest film Sitaare Zameen Par is doing well at the box office for the size of film that it is. The sports drama has collected Rs 195 crore globally by its second Sunday, surpassing the worldwide earnings of Aamir's 2008 blockbuster Ghajini, which earned Rs 194.60 crore. This achievement makes Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan's 6th highest-grossing film ever. Let's dive into how this film compares to his other hits on the global stage. Sitaare Zameen Par Has Crossed The Global Earnings Of Ghajini; Is Now Aamir Khan's 6th Highest Grosser After the underwhelming performance of Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022, which earned slightly over Rs 130 crore worldwide, Aamir Khan has made a good comeback. Sitaare Zameen Par, which tells the story of a basketball coach training players with special needs, has resonated deeply with many. It has reiterated that the actor still has a knack of what works and what doesn't, with the audience. Ghajini was a game-changer in 2008. It was the first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in India, earning Rs 114 crore net domestically and Rs 194.60 crore worldwide. Its intense action and gripping story made it a massive hit. However, Sitaare Zameen Par has now overtaken it globally with Rs 195 crore. Ghajini continues to be a bigger hit because if adjusted for inflation, its India net numbers itself would be around Rs 400 crore, if not more. Sitaare Zameen Par now ranks as Aamir's 6th highest-grossing film worldwide. Here's how it compares to his top earners: (lead roles only) Rank Movie Worldwide Gross Collections 1 Dangal Rs 1910 crore 2 PK Rs 757 crore 3 Dhoom 3 Rs 554 crore 4 3 Idiots Rs 415 crore 5 Thugs Of Hindostan Rs 310 crore 6 Sitaare Zameen Par Rs 195 crore and counting.. Can Sitaare Zameen Par Cross Thugs Of Hindostan Worldwide? Sitaare Zameen Par is now behind Thugs Of Hindostan. With strong audience support and a release in non-traditional international markets, it might challenge for the 5th spot soon. If the movie does not breakout in non-traditional international markets, Thugs Of Hindostan will retain its 5th position. Sitaare Zameen Par In Theatres Sitaare Zameen Par plays in theatres. Aamir Khan Says He Drinks All Night With Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan: 'We Never Stop At One'
Last Updated: Aamir Khan opens up on friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Aamir Khan recently spoke candidly on Lallantop about how his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan transformed over the years. Back during the buzz around 3 Idiots, the two indulged in playful jabs, calling each other 'chichora'—a childish tease. Recalling their early days, Aamir said, 'I hadn't known Shah Rukh so much that time, we would keep meeting often, we even hung out together back then at either of our places." He laughed off a common misunderstanding, clarifying a funny anecdote and saying, 'I had written a vlog from a farmhouse in Panchgani, stating that Shah Rukh was licking his feet." But he confirmed it was actually the farmhouse dog named after SRK, not the actor. Aamir shared how Shah Rukh often teases him at award ceremonies. 'SRK often keeps making jokes on me, every year there are award functions and I don't go to them, but they keep making fun of me," he added. The dynamic shifted during film promos. SRK once remarked that Aamir's extensive promotion came across as 'chichorapan." Aamir took it in stride. He said, 'SRK is a sensible man… if he finds that chichora what can I say, that's his opinion… For me, it was an important experience as a human being… Shah Rukh might know better about it because he does a lot of it in his life; he is an expert at all this." Today, their bond is stronger and more personal. Aamir shared, 'We often make plans to catch up, and we never stop at one drink… it's usually till morning, 7 am, not just with Salman but with Shah Rukh too. This has happened eight to 10 times till now." Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, two of Bollywood's biggest stars, famously came together for the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna in 1994. Despite their individual superstardom and public camaraderie, they haven't reunited for a full-fledged film since, making Andaz Apna Apna their only major collaboration to date. Aamir recently confirmed that he, SRK, and Salman Khan have had discussions and are eagerly awaiting a compelling script to bring the trio together. First Published:
