Club Q survivor Edward Sanders, who is an advocate for the bill and transgender rights, claimed it is 'abusive' for parents to not support their kids with their gender identity.
The bill is named after a transgender woman who was killed in a gay bar in Colorado in 2022, whom Mr Sanders had met that night.
