MoneyMe will deploy SEON to support a multi-product portfolio – including auto loans, credit cards and personal loans – strengthening capabilities in device intelligence, behavioral analysis and second-party fraud detection. 'SEON stood out for its flexibility, strong device intelligence and scalability,' said Jonathan Wu, MoneyMe's Chief Operations Officer and Chief Product Officer. 'Its platform will help us consolidate tools, reduce complexity and enhance both fraud prevention and operational efficiency as we grow.'
The phased rollout includes fraud prevention and credit decisioning enrichment via SEON's data engine. MoneyMe will gain comprehensive visibility across all risk vectors through SEON's integrated dashboard, enabling coordinated response across their fraud, risk and compliance teams.
'MoneyMe is the kind of forward-looking fintech we built SEON for,' said Troy Nyi Nyi, Senior Vice President and GM, APAC, SEON. 'By combining device intelligence, digital footprinting and real-time compliance in one centralized command center, we're helping them to both stop fraud before it starts and scale securely.'
MoneyMe aims to future proof its fraud detection approach, add additional data points to enhance credit modeling accuracy and generate cost savings across KYC and onboarding workflows. The company also plans to expand SEON's role to include transaction monitoring in future phases.

Generative AI Course With Certification For SWE's, PM's and Engineering Managers - Interview Kickstart's Roadmap To Becoming An AI ENGINEER in 2025 For US Tech Professionals

Santa Clara, Aug. 20, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a world where financial institutions grapple with increasingly complex compliance and risk detection requirements, generative AI is emerging as a game-changer. The launch of the UK Financial Conduct Authority's "supercharged sandbox" in partnership with Nvidia has opened the floodgates for banks to pilot advanced AI for fraud detection and market manipulation in a controlled environment. For more information, visit: Meanwhile, AI-powered tools from major banks and fintech firms are slashing manual review times from contract analysis to transaction monitoring by hundreds of thousands of hours annually. Generative AI models, backed by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and LangChain components, are enabling precise, context-aware responses while keeping data secure behind enterprise firewalls. Interview Kickstart, a leading upskilling platform trusted by thousands of tech professionals, offers an Applied Generative AI course designed to prepare engineers for high-impact roles at FAANG and top-tier companies. Tailored tracks for software engineers stand out, covering a structured Python crash course, deep dives into LLMs, neural networks, and applied modules on image and audio GenAI. The program spans 12 weeks of hands-on training and culminates in software-focused capstone projects. By the end, learners are able to build intelligent meeting summarizers, virtual coding assistants, and AI customer service agents—skills that mirror the real-world needs of financial institutions and tech giants alike. In financial services, AI-driven risk detection and compliance systems are rapidly becoming the backbone of operational efficiency. JPMorgan Chase's COiN platform leverages NLP to process thousands of contracts per second, saving over 360,000 manual review hours annually. Similarly, Mastercard's real-time fraud detection system evaluates 160 billion transactions each year, improving detection rates by up to 300% while minimizing false declines. These cutting-edge deployments rely heavily on RAG systems that couple textual embeddings with deep language models. To stay legally compliant, they embed secure pipelines that shield sensitive data, often combining vector embeddings, fine-grained permissions, and local indexing to ensure confidentiality. Interview Kickstart's Applied Generative AI course equips learners with exactly these in-demand skills. Modules centered on prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and secure deployment directly map to real-world compliance workflows. LangChain integration is a core highlight: students learn to build secure RAG agents over private databases, employ document loaders, manage vector stores, and create RAG chains with retrieval and generation linked by authorization checks—a training path that mirrors enterprise-grade architectures. Speakers from the financial industry are often hired by FAANG companies, meaning the expertise students gain matches the expectations in top-tier interviews. Crucially, interview readiness is baked into the program. Mock technical interviews with FAANG engineers in both domain-specific and system design contexts ensure candidates are not just technically competent, but also interview-savvy. Personalized coaching helps refine your resume, optimize your LinkedIn presence, and practice behavioral competencies. This means that by the time learners head into interviews, they can confidently discuss how to architect a RAG-based compliance tool that enforces access control, mitigates bias, and passes audit scrutiny, exactly the kinds of systems being piloted by regulators and banks today. Ethical and legal considerations are also woven into the curriculum. With regulators like the UK FCA and Germany's BaFin demanding transparency in AI usage, understanding biases, audit logging, and federated or on-premise deployment is essential. The program includes modules on ethical guardrails, evaluation metrics, and bias mitigation, ensuring learners can articulate how to deploy AI responsibly in sensitive environments. Beyond technical depth, Interview Kickstart's Applied Generative AI course offers tailored tracks for different roles, including software engineers, product managers, engineering managers, and technical program managers. While engineers learn to code and construct models, product roles explore prompt design and value communication; managers focus on technical feasibility, ROI assessments, and integration planning. This multi-role alignment reflects real-world teams deploying GenAI responsibly, making every graduate well-prepared for interdisciplinary collaboration in enterprise settings. The capstone projects reflect this alignment with industry trends. For software engineers, a project like an intelligent meeting summarizer or virtual assistant parallels what financial firms build to comply with audit logging and real-time compliance monitoring. Deploying these applications through AWS, integrating with finance databases, or applying LangChain permissions replicates those mega-scale systems. In a AI-driven compliance wave, Interview Kickstart's Applied Generative AI course doesn't just teach generative models, it trains you to build enterprise-ready, safe, and compliant AI systems. Combining the best of RAG, secure agentic pipelines, prompt-driven LLMs, and real-world deployment, this course lays the foundation for tech professionals to confidently interview and land roles at FAANG and beyond. With generative AI transforming risk and compliance across global financial markets, professionals skilled in LangChain, RAG, secure model deployment, and AI ethics are in high demand. Interview Kickstart's Applied Generative AI course equips you with the exact knowledge and practice to seize these opportunities in FAANG+ careers and beyond. In a future where AI-powered compliance becomes the norm, this course positions tech talent to not just participate but to lead. Black Dragon Capital℠ Invests in Open Banking Solutions and PayOnward, FinTechs Tailored to Drive Innovation and Eliminate Obsolete Infrastructure for Credit Unions

Team of veteran FinTech leaders – including the Former Chair and CEO of Open Solutions, which created the DNA Core System, and Founder of Payveris – partner with leading credit unions to create Open Banking Solutions, a full-featured cloud-based core banking platform offering a powerful alternative to legacy infrastructure, and PayOnward, an AI-driven digital payment platform built for Credit Unions and Community-Based Financial Institutions BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Black Dragon Capital℠ ("Black Dragon") — a multi-phased global investment partner which focuses on advanced technology that addresses the most significant issues industries face — has invested in two financial solutions that can help credit unions drive innovation and eliminate obsolete infrastructure: Open Banking Solutions and PayOnward. The newly formed credit union limited partner advisory board has approved an investment by Black Dragon into two companies addressing the critical needs of the credit union and community based financial institution market. For too long, we believe that credit unions and other community based financial institutions were limited in their ability to execute their strategy due to outdated, inflexible and costly vendors that seem more interested in punitive contract terms, and a divisive relationship than success for credit unions. There have also seen several new entrants with little experience in enterprise processing or payments that have delivered failed conversions, severe reputational damage and event fines against well meaning institutions. These two investments are intended to put an end to this and put credit unions on their rightful path of collaboration, and success with partners who are experienced in delivering success in these critical areas. New Financial Solutions from Trusted Innovators Open Banking Solutions and PayOnward are promising companies that can give credit unions a competitive edge by allowing them to speed up innovation, get rid of vendor dependency constraints, and operate more efficiently. Open Banking Solutions is an advanced, cloud-based core and digital banking solution designed to give community-based financial institutions a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving landscape. Launched in the US, in February 2023, the platform boasts a robust cloud core processor that can streamline workflows and scale with the businesses as they grow. Joe Lockwood, the CEO of Open Banking Solutions, has spent decades empowering financial institutions through FinTech. Formerly, he was the President of COCC – the largest deployer of the DNA Core System. Lockwood is currently also an Advisor at Black Dragon Capital℠ where he specializes in FinTech. PayOnward is an AI-driven digital payment platform built for Credit Unions and Community-Based Financial Institutions. Its comprehensive, white-label suite—including accounts receivable, bill pay, peer-to-peer transfers, account-to-account payments, cross-border payments, and earned wage access—helps credit unions modernize services, keep deposits, and engage small businesses and members. The company was created by Louis Hernandez, Jr., the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Black Dragon Capital. Hernandez is the Former Chair and CEO of Open Solutions, which created the DNA Core System. He was also the Founder of the payments solution Payveris. PayOnward CEO, Cary Strange, has decades of experience in fintech, financial services, and payments. His extensive background in these industries equips him with a deep understanding of their unique needs – making his leadership invaluable as PayOnward continues to scale their solutions and drive industry adoption. Both Open Banking Solutions and PayOnward represent the next generation of innovations for credit unions, picking up where Open Solutions and Payveris left off. "When we sold Open Solutions, I never imagined creating another modern core system. Still, years passed, and I couldn't stand by and watch multiple failed attempts at this new modern core system set an industry I care about back — failing our institutions and the members they serve. We put the band back together with Rashid Desai, former CTO of Open Solutions when we launched DNA; Joe Lockwood, who was most recently the President of COCC, the largest deployer of DNA and is now CEO of Open Banking Solutions; and others, to create the next generation core system from experts who know how to create a core system that works and addresses industry issues. This time, it will be owned by credit unions for credit unions," said Louis Hernandez, Managing Partner of Black Dragon Capital FinTech CUSO Fund, and former Chair and CEO of Open Solutions including when the company created and launched DNA core system. "I've admired the impact that both Open Solutions and Payveris have made on the industry and I was delighted when Louis offered me the role of PayOnward CEO. The collaboration with leading credit union partners, and Black Dragon Capital, make this a unique and powerful partnership which can increase the role credit unions play in the digital payments ecosystem. Their experience in eCommerce, media and cybersecurity add a unique perspective to the payment platform strategy," said Cary Strange, CEO of PayOnward. Black Dragon Capital℠ continues collaborating with credit unions The firm's trusted leaders have been part of the credit union movement for decades and are committed to seeing it evolve and succeed. As a result, prominent members of the credit union community have joined forces with Black Dragon Capital℠ because of the firm's history of transforming companies. These recent investments in Open Banking Solutions and PayOnward prove Black Dragon's commitment to addressing the key challenges faced by the credit union movement today. Black Dragon Capital℠ continues establishing partnerships with credit unions with the goal of exploring advanced technologies that can empower them to serve their community better and optimize their services in a rapidly changing digital landscape. The firm has recently formed a FinTech Limited Partners Advisory Board, which includes the most innovative and sophisticated credit unions in the market, to ensure that strategic decisions are made with a thorough due diligence process that leverages insights from our partners and our team's deep domain experience. Open Banking Solutions and PayOnward are only the first in a series of technology investments with the goal of solving the industry's most important issues and creating a sustainable economic model. "This is exactly why we have created the partnerships that we did with leading credit unions. Partnering with the right technology partners, with proven success, to drive innovation, collaboration and efficiency to make our partners more competitive and allow them to serve their communities better. I'm very excited about these investments and am grateful for the insights that our credit union partners provided in these evaluations," said Benson Porter, Chair of the FinTech CUSO Fund, at Black Dragon Capital.
