#SHOWBIZ: Shila Amzah: Not true that I support my husband financially
In an interview with Berita Harian today, Shila dismissed the claims as "baseless."
She emphasised that Ubai, whose full name is Muhammad Ubaidillah Mohd Zulkefli, 27, works diligently behind the scenes to support her singing career.
"If it were true that I was financially supporting him and that he wasn't working, I wouldn't be as happy and cheerful as I am today," Shila said.
"Just look at my social media photos from 2023 onwards; I clearly look happier."
Shila described Ubai as her "spokesman, protector, and defender," highlighting his maturity, responsibility, and caring nature.
Ubai himself recently faced criticism from netizens who alleged he was "living off his wife's earnings."
He has since publicly defended himself against these naysayers.
Shila and Ubai tied the knot in August 2023 and are parents to a daughter, Rhea Akira. Shila also has a son, Seth Uwais, from her first marriage to Haris Edraki.

When you have JDT behind you, everything is easier. ''They do things how they should be done, on time, professionally.'' Hidalgo also revealed that he is awaiting to be naturalised and hopes to don Malaysian colours one day. 'After December, I will have been in Malaysia for five years. Maybe by then, or next May, I can get something more official. I hope that can happen next year.'

Festival sets record for longest non-stop techno music event
