The Nigerian striker has previously been linked with the likes of Chelsea, West Ham and Newcastle in the past.
Boniface was thought to be moving to Saudi in January before his move collapsed.
Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Bayer Leverkusen could part ways with the forward if a good proposal arrives.
Arsenal could make a move for Boniface as an alternative option to the likes of Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko.

I tried everything, and it was destiny that meant it had to happen without me. 'PSG winning the Champions League without me doesn't affect me. I was happy. I think they deserved it.' Mbappe was on the scoresheet on Thursday night when France fell to a thrilling 5-4 defeat by Spain in their Nations League semi-final. Spain will now face Portugal in Sunday's final after Cristiano Ronaldo and Co overcame hosts Germany 2-1 on Wednesday. The final will take place at Munich's Allianz Arena — which also staged PSG's win over Inter last weekend — after the game for third place is played in Stuttgart.

Top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka won the first set 7-6 (5) against No. 2 Coco Gauff in the French Open women's final on Saturday. The match has been full of tension and momentum swings so far, amplified by the windy conditions. Sabalenka came out strong on Court Philippe-Chatrier, finding her stride early and pushing Gauff onto the back foot with deep groundstrokes and assertive net play.
