Predator Kills the Marvel Universe Promises Huge Body Count, Sets Release Date
One sought Wolverine as the ultimate challenge. A hunting party invaded Wakanda only to be turned away by Black Panther and his people. An outcast contended with Spider-Man in the urban jungles of New York City. Now, a Yautja king and his court will make Earth into their own happy hunting ground in Predator Kills the Marvel Universe.
Predator Kills the Marvel Universe will be the finale of a line of crossovers between the two franchises. It will be written by Benjamin Percy who has overseen the series since the bloody beginning. The artwork will be provided by Marcelo Ferreira, who also illustrated Predator vs. Spider-Man.
The story will center around a Predator king empowered by a new arsenal of Vibranium weapons. This, coupled with a surprisingly unlikely human ally, leads to an all-out invasion of Earth. Both heroes and villains will stand against the alien hunters. However, not all of them will make it out alive. The first issue is scheduled for release on August 13.
Percy spoke with IGN about the series to date and the accordingly escalated build to Predator Kills the Marvel Universe.
'Over the past few years, I've been having the time of my life writing the Predator Vs. series,' he said. 'The Yautja have hunted Wolverine across the decades. They've battled Black Panther and plundered Wakanda of its Vibranium. And they've faced off against Spider-Man and Kraven during a blackout heatwave in New York. These stories have been patiently building toward something epic. Their interconnectedness will be revealed in this explosive, blood-drenched, five-part story.'
Marvel Comics is famed for their explicitly hyperbolic advertising. As such, audiences might be skeptical of a title like Predator Kills the Marvel Universe. However, Percy is adamant that this series' title is no exaggeration.
'That title? It's not misdirection. This one's gonna hurt. Your favorite heroes and villains will fall, even as others rise up against this extinction-level event. The Predator King is here. The Yautja are armed with Vibranium. And Earth is now a hunting preserve.'
Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #1 arrives in comic shops everywhere on August 13, 2025.

The full Alien: Earth trailer is finally here and it's a doozy
In space, no one can hear you, uh, stream. We finally have a real trailer for the upcoming Alien: Earth TV series and it looks extremely cool. FX dropped a teaser a few months back, but that was just vibes. This is an actual two-minute trailer that's absolutely packed with footage. For the uninitiated, Alien: Earth is the first TV series in the franchise's long history and is being helmed by Noah Hawley. That's the guy who made the Fargo TV series and the criminally underrated Marvel show Legion . Franchise creator Ridley Scott is also on board as an executive producer. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. This is a prequel that's set just two years before the original film. As the name suggests, it takes place on Earth. The trailer indicates the story will involve a ship crashing into a large corporate-controlled city. This vessel may or may not have a fearsome Xenomorph aboard, among other notable alien species. A character in the clip says that the ship "collected five different life forms from the darkest corners of the universe," going on to suggest that one is "predatory." That's right. We could be getting a dang Predator in our Alien TV show. Alien: Earth premieres on August 12 on FX and will be available to stream on Hulu. The show stars Sydney Chandler as a hybrid robot/human lifeform tasked with investigating the crash. The rest of the cast includes Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther and Samuel Blenkin, among others.

Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman join Australia SailGP team as co-owners
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman became co-owners of the Australia SailGP team on Thursday. The 'Deadpool & Wolverine' stars joined driver and CEO Tom Slingsby in leading the team's rebrand after several successful seasons, winning three championships in its four seasons. The team will be called the BONDS Flying Roos, with the Australian underwear company BONDS as its title partner. 'We're incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure," Reynolds and Jackman said in a joint statement released through SailGP. "Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country, as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Apologies in advance to Australia. No comment on whether we're writing this in our BONDS. No further questions.' It's the latest sports venture for Reynolds, who along with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney is a co-owner of Wrexham, one of the world's oldest soccer clubs. Reynolds and McElhenney were also part of an investment group that acquired Colombian club La Equidad earlier this year. The BONDS Flying Roos SailGP Team is expected to make its debut at the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix starting June 7. Slingsby, an Olympic gold medalist, said in a release that Jackman and Reynolds bring 'unmatched star power, a love for storytelling, and a sharp sense of (humor) that fits perfectly with our team." "With BONDS joining as our Title Partner and the launch of the BONDS Flying Roos," Slingsby added, "we're building something distinctly Australian; a team driven by spirit, resilience, and national pride.' ___
