The panic on her face was visible as flames were just seconds away. She rushed over, grabbed his hand, and yanked him to safety—just in time. Eminem recalls crying after missing daughter's guitar recital in 2007 due to drug overdose in his new documentary Stans
Popular American rapper Eminem is revisiting one of the darkest periods of his life in his recently documentary Stans. The rapper, known for hits like Mockingbird and Without Me, gets personal about his struggle with addiction, the overdose that nearly ended his life in 2007, and the emotional moments that finally pushed him to seek help. Eminem saw the video of his daughter's first recital 'I got into this vicious cycle of, 'I'm depressed so I need more pills,' and then your tolerance gets so high that you end up overdosing,' he recalled in the film. Reflecting on the aftermath, he says, 'I woke up in the hospital and I didn't know what the f**k happened. It seemed like I fell asleep, and I woke up with tubes in me and s**t. I wanted to get up. I couldn't move.' Once back home, he found himself slipping again. 'After the overdose, I came home going, 'Yo, bro, I need something.'' He explains that he reached a terrifying conclusion: 'I felt like I was going to die if I don't do something.' But the moment that truly broke him came when he missed an important event in his daughter Hailie Jade's life. 'I had this video that they brought me because I missed Hailie's first guitar recital,' he says. 'The amount of guilt that I felt, I cried when I saw it because I was like, 'Oh my God, I missed that.'' That regret led to a powerful reckoning, 'Do you want to miss everything? If you can't do it for yourself... then at least do it for them,' Eminem says in the documentary. Eminem has been sober since April 2008, and he chronicled the beginning of that journey in his 2009 album Relapse. In April this year, he marked 16 years of sobriety with a celebratory Instagram post showing his recovery chip.

Did SEVENTEEN's Hoshi just shade BTS? ARMY and Carats clash over his Instagram activity
Back in 2019, BTS were at the height of their global dominance, sweeping awards left and right - almost effortlessly. But despite their reign, competition within the K-pop world remained fierce, and not every fan was thrilled with the results. Fast forward to today, a new fanwar has erupted over the 'Best Dance Performance - Male Group' award from the 2019 MAMA Awards, which BTS won for their smash hit Boy With Luv featuring Halsey. SEVENTEEN, who were also nominated that year for their powerful track Fear, had their fans - Carats - feeling their group was unfairly "robbed" of the title. Tensions have now resurfaced after an Instagram post revisiting the debate went viral. What ignited the flames further? SEVENTEEN's Hoshi, leader of the group's performance team, liked the post - sparking a fresh clash between ARMY and Carats across social media. BTS winning the Best Dance Performance Male Group award at the 2019 MAMA Awards SEVENTEEN's Hoshi likes an Instagram video Hoshi recently liked a video post that read: "Never forget SVT's performance 'Hit' at the 2019 MAMA, right after they lost the 'Best Dance Performance' award." On the surface, it looked like a nostalgic nod to his group's performance - but the comments underneath the post told a different story. Carats were seen claiming BTS didn't deserve the win that year, suggesting they only won because of their popularity. That, paired with Hoshi's like added fuel to the fire. A screenshot of Hoshi's like was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), with one viral post reading, "He's about to enlist so he just doesn't gaf anymore," racking up over 22,000 likes. The drama had officially begun - especially since many ARMYs hadn't even seen the original video until the screenshot started spreading. Did Hoshi really throw shade at BTS? It's all speculation, but ARMY believe Hoshi's like may have been a subtle jab at BTS, especially given the years-long debate over the 2019 award. Carats, however, insist it was innocent. Some said he may have simply appreciated his group's performance, while others pointed out the caption was in English - implying he might not have understood the post's tone or the fan commentary that followed. begging everyone to put themselves in hoshi's place. a normal person who doest gaf about fanwars liking a video of his group's dance performance with a caption saying they fucking killed it on stage even after losing the award for dance IM BEGGING HIS FANS' VIEWS ARE NOT HIS OWN Still, ARMYs pushed back, saying even if Hoshi didn't intend to start anything, the tone of the post - and especially the comments beneath it -clearly suggested that BTS didn't deserve the win. That was enough to reopen old wounds. Carats knew that Hoshi was acting shady and they approved of it by giving the tweet 22K likes. They thought he was funny and real. I saw the comments But after we knew about it, they started creating excuses for him because they realized how bitter and unprofessional he looked ARMY vs Carats: A fanwar reignites Soon, the situation spiraled. As the screenshots went viral, the original Instagram post and the X tweet were both deleted - possibly an attempt to cool the fire. But the damage was already done. What started as a like turned into a full-on fanwar, with Hoshi caught in the middle. Whether it was a genuine mistake or quiet shade remains unknown - but speculation have been running wild, and K-pop Twitter is once again divided. Both sides have shared their own narrative with ARMY being loud on why Boy With Luv deserved the award and won it on merit. That's how that one came to post "Drink responsibly" for an endorsement during the height of Yoongi's hate train and his fandom turned it into Yoongi shade...
