New EastEnders bombshell as ex-star Michelle Ryan returns as Zoe Slater – and she's back FOR GOOD after 20 years

EASTENDERS legend Michelle Ryan has returned to the soap after 20 years away - and is back for good.
As gorgeous Zoe Slater, the actress is best known for her explosive 'You ain't my mother!' showdown with Kat Slater, now Moon.

She's now back on Albert Square as Kat marries Alfie for the third time and prepares to take over the Queen Victoria pub.
Viewers will see Zoe in two further episodes this week but she will be on board full-time this summer.
Speaking on her return to the BBC soap, Michelle said: 'It feels like coming home.
'After doing my first few scenes, it was like I'd never been away.
'It all happened at the right time.
'I'd already been thinking about a return because I'd met up with Kacey Ainsworth (Little Mo) and Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell) and we were reminiscing our fond memories of the show, and I'd also joined social media and saw that there was still a lot of love for the character.
'It just so happened that at the same time, EastEnders had announced a new Exec who was keen to explore the potential of a return as he was such a massive fan of Zoe and the Slaters, so both of our worlds aligned at the right time, and I'm so excited to be back.
'When I was pitched the storylines, and when I read the scripts, I knew it was the right decision.'
EastEnders new boss, Executive Producer Ben Wadey added: 'Before I even stepped into the role, Zoe Slater was on my wish-list of returnees as, although we haven't seen her on screen for twenty years, her character has transcended time due to her popular storylines.'
The mother-daughter spectacle with Kat in 2001 cemented Zoe as one of the BBC soap's most iconic characters.

The scene revealed that Zoe, the youngest of the all-female Slater clan, was in fact Kat's daughter but had been brought up by Charlie and Viv Slater as her own.
In the storyline, Zoe is fed up of being bossed around by Kat and yells: 'You can't tell me what to do - you ain't my mother,' to which Kat explodes: 'Yes I am!'
Zoe also had a string of countless failed love interests, including a disastrous relationship with Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman).
The doomed affair - which resulted in a pregnancy - saw Zoe embroiled in the murder of Den Watts with accomplices Chrissie Watts and Sam Mitchell.
Zoe left Albert Square in 2005 but during her time away, Zoe and Kat's relationship was said to have broken down once again and the pair have been estranged ever since.
Michelle added: 'I can't say too much as there is a lot of drama to come, but Zoe is a mess.
'She's not the girl that left Walford twenty years ago, and she's been really struggling on her own.
'She has her defences up, but this week you will see that she needs help, but whether she is willing to accept it is another story.'
Michelle made her debut in 2000 alongside Jessie Wallace as Kat, Kasey Ainsworth as Little Mo and Elaine Lordan as Lynne.
She quit the show in 2005 in a bid to crack Hollywood and landed the lead role in a big-budget remake of The Bionic Woman - but it failed to impress and was axed after just one season.
In 2008 she ruled out a return to the soap.
She said: 'I just got quite bored in the end, to be honest.
'Doing the same thing day in, day out.
'It's just so boring.
'I like to jump from different things.'
She added: 'Money doesn't drive me.
'You couldn't get me back.'
However last year she said 'never say never' when asked about a potential return.

Danny Dyer has spoken about the highs and lows of his career including when he was overdoing the partying and had to take time away from TV Danny Dyer has revealed his moment of clarity to make a change to his life when he was 'slowly killing himself' after being 'off his head' after the National TV Awards. The acclaimed actor, who has won rave reviews for his performance in the Disney+ drama Rivals, also looks back and said his Eastenders co-star Luisa Bradshaw-White was the only one who told him he had an issue and helped his sort his life out insisting 'No one else would say that to me.' Danny is now enjoying a blossoming career and has his life on track, having recently walked daughter Dani down the aisle to marry footballer Jarrod Bowen. But looking back with interviewer Louis Theroux, Danny said previously he knew he was 'destroying himself' and his career. At the time he was on EastEnders playing Mick Carters since 2013, but he would head into rehab in Cape Town in 2016. Danny, 47, said: 'I had a moment of clarity where I had been on it all night after the NTAs. I think I'd won and that's always on like a Tuesday or something and I had to go to work. There's another thing with EastEnders, is that they go, yeah, come celebrate NTAs, but you are up at seven in the morning. So anyway, I'd just overdone it again and I just could not work out how to get my jeans on. 'I was just sitting on my ensuite toilet trying to work out what leg goes in what, and I don't why. I've sort of had many of them moments over the years of me being completely off my head. But that one really resonated with me. It was more because I looked up, my wife was just watching me and she looked shattered and she looked ill. 'And of course, you know, the drug taking and the madness that comes with it, you're destroying yourself and your body and you're slowly killing yourself, but you also, you're really upsetting the people around you. I just looked at her, even through this moment, I was off my head. But everything seemed to just sort of go, what the f*ck are you doing to people around you that love you? And it was that moment and I could hear Artie, my son, who's now 11, he must have been 3. He was running around downstairs and I think I'd got rid of the last straggler out the house. 'Yeah, So I had a car picking me up to take me to work and it was just this moment I thought, sh*t, you're going to die. You're going to kill yourself. You're not happy. You're spanking all your money on drugs. You're destroying everything around you. It's weird, that moment, because I went straight to work that day and I was a bit off my head and I did say, 'Listen, I need help. I can't do this anymore. I need help. I don't know what it is, but this is a crossroads in my life where I need a gear change and I need it now and I don't think I'm going to survive this year'. Danny made the decision to go to rehab in Cape Town after this awards show after-party at his house. He added: 'And so, you know, I want give a shout out to Louisa Bradshaw White, who played my sister Tina, who really came to the front for me, more than anybody else. 'She'd always said that she thinks I've got an issue and problem. No one else would say that to me… I don't know, people don't want to busy themselves in your life either. She would always say, 'whenever you're ready' you know, that was her vibe with me and then I was ready. 'She's had her issues like a lot of people have really, and a lot of people in my life, I've seen a lot of people go through some quite heavy stuff and always thought, oh f*cking hell, that's quite heavy, glad I'm not that bad. Actually, turns out I was, it just took me a longer route to get there.' Danny, who is married with three children, previously told the BBC receiving a letter from his daughter Dani while at a rehab facility in 2016 was what convinced him to continue his treatment. He shot to fame in the 1999 film Human Traffic, is now one of the most recognisable stars of British TV and film. Danny played Mick Carter in BBC soap EastEnders from 2013 to 2022 and has now starred in his own comedy series Mr. Bigstuff and big budget dramas like Rivals. He told Louis Theroux he is 'proud' of his upcoming film 'Three Quick Breaths'. On a lighter note he also talked about seeing a UFO and being convinced the exist. It was an orb going through the sky. So then that's a UFO. So, whatever you want to make of that, that's the fact,' he said. He also said he won't be trying to crack Hollywood anytime soon, despite being encouraged to try. He explained: 'I understand that's where the work is and that's the ultimate, but can I be bothered to go and live out there on my own? EastEnders spoilers - Kat's turmoil, Joel's new target and Bernie exit 'sealed'
EastEnders for next week's episodes have revealed drama and danger in the fallout to this week's big scenes, with discoveries, concern and more than one clash in Walford There's more chaos on the way on EastEnders next week, with more than one character taking centre stage. In the fallout to big scenes this week on the BBC soap, there's chaos ahead with danger and trouble for some residents. Kat Slater is worrying about how things are with her husband Alfie Moon and she soon confides in someone about their lack of communication. Alfie isn't the only one causing concern for Kat, as she soon makes an alarming discovery about her ex Phil Mitchell. Phil's worried about Nigel deteriorating amid his dementia diagnosis, and some of his actions next week leave Phil struggling. Phil ends up being injured when he and Nigel grapple over a pan of boiling water. Phil tells Kat he's exhausted and in over his head, so she suggests he gets some extra support to care for Nigel. An incident with Lexi later leaves Phil troubled, and Kat once again tells him he needs help for Nigel. Denise Fox also offers guidance to Phil, telling him he needs to look after himself. Elsewhere next week, Elaine Peacock is also sparking concern as she struggles after her split from George Knight. Linda Carter is left overwhelmed as her mother constantly leaves her to hold the fort at the pub. George steps in to help her, and soon Elaine slams him which destroys any hope of a truce. Things take a bitter turn when George warns Elaine that his new solicitor says he's got a claim on The Vic. Things only get worse when Linda and Elaine clash, and it turns out Elaine has given alcohol to the teens leaving children in hospital. The alcohol is consumed by some of the kids who are at the house where a party is taking place, leading to a hospital dash. Speaking of, Denzel throws a party next week and with Tommy invited, Joel tries to get a way in. He attempts to chat up Amy too only for it to be thwarted as his next target is revealed, after his recent drama with Avani. With the children upstairs watching a move, Denzel welcomes his friends round and soon he allows Joel in, as they head off to get some booze from the pub. Disaster strikes though when they steal the jug of punch and Raymond and the twins end up drinking it. Bernadette Taylor's exit storyline may have been teased too, as she's asked by cousin Felix Baker for her seal of approval over his new romance with Johnny Carter. But with her reluctant to after him covering up the murder of her brother Keanu, something Felix knows nothing about, will it come back to haunt all those involved? Theres a strange discovery though when some weird invoices are spotted linked to the Panesar account, which Bernie has access to. She dismissed the concerns, but soon she's questioned once more. As Ravi and Suki go to confront Bernie about the irregularities, will they make a discovery and is this linked to Bernie's looming exit? Finally next week, Nicola Mitchell is enraged when her son Barney's biological father Zack Hudson gets between them again. With Barney failing an exam due to stress, Nicola tries to cheer him up and bring the family back together. When Harry invites Zack though, there's soon drama as Nicola and husband Teddy clash and she trashes the room. As her party gets underway, Nicola chucks out Zack and Barney storms off. Teddy offers to support his son though if he wants to get to know Zack. But what will he decide? Amid the drama, Nicola and George get closer but will it lead to more

EastEnders horror as children are served alcohol - and it will cost legends
A number of EastEnders children are hospitalised after drinking alcohol next week – and one local is to blame. It all kicks off when Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) asks if she can hold a party for partner Patrick's (Rudolph Walker) 85th birthday at The Vic. Things have been slowly spiralling in the wake of landlady Elaine Knight's (Harriet Thorpe) separation from husband George (Colin Salmon), and although it's clear that the event would be too much to manage, she agrees. Her daughter and co-licensee Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is overwhelmed by the suggestion, and more so when she's left alone to manage proceedings herself. Elaine is enraged to see George step in to help, and lashes out at him, destroying any chance of them reconciling. Across The Square, Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) has agreed to babysit the younger kids while the adults enjoy the party, and gets permission from Yolande to invite some of his mates over too. She's more than happy for him to have his own gathering – on the condition that there's no trouble. Troubled newbie Joel Marshall (Max Murray) angles for an invite so that he can get closer to Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd), but Denzel asserts that he isn't welcome. Later, Joel's attempts at chatting up his neighbour are brushed to one side and he makes it his mission to get into the Fox-Trueman household. With the bash in full swing, Denzel invites his friends in and sends Raymond, Bert and Ernie upstairs with a movie. Joel arrives armed with some booze and tries to bribe his way in.
