Child critically injured after stabbing in St. Landry Parish

ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY) – St. Landry Parish authorities are investigating an attack on a 6 year old child.
Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz told KLFY News, 'On June 1, 2025, deputies received a call of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Hwy 31 in the Leonville area. Upon arrival, a 6-year-old child was found to have multiple lacerations and stab wounds to the face, neck and chest area.' The child was transported to a local hospital before being transferred to a Baton Rouge Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities arrested Patrick Seth Greene, 37, of Opelousas. He is charged with Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault and Resisting an Officer.
He's being held in the St. Landry Parish Jail.

CSPD: Car chase ends in PIT maneuver and arrest of minor

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 00 block of Stanford Street, near Pikes Peak Avenue and South Academy Boulevard, leading to a car chase and the arrest of a minor on Sunday morning, June 8. CSPD reported that around 2 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the scene after receiving multiple calls of shots fired and a report that a male had been shot. When they arrived, a suspect vehicle was leaving the scene and nearly hit an officer who was approaching on foot. Police chased the vehicle and performed a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver to apprehend the driver.
