Windy Conditions Tonight, More Showers Start Off the Week

Wind Advisory: Raleigh County, Fayette County, Nicholas County, and Pocahontas County.
Tonight sees our breezy conditions continue. Winds will sit near 15 miles per hour with gusts approaching 40 miles per hour in some spots. Clouds will sit over us tonight, but we will stay dry. The inflow of cooler western air will yield lows in the low 50s tonight.
Tomorrow will be a beautiful day with highs in the low 70s. Cooler, dryer air rushing behind Friday's cold front will yield clear skies. We will see our wind gusts calm down, with those gusts approaching 25 miles per hour. Tomorrow will still be breezy, however, with winds sitting near 15 miles per hour.
What do you need for spring gardening?
Monday sees a quick warm-up from the upper 40s to the mid 70s. We will see increased cloud cover roll in by the evening, with a scattered shower or two passing overnight.
Tuesday morning starts off mostly dry with scattered showers in our southern counties. In the early afternoon, a warm front will reach our region. Shortly after, a cold front will follow. This will bring showers and some rumbles of thunder. Temperatures will rise gradually from the mid 50s to the low 70s. We will see a half inch of rain by midnight. On top of recent rainfall, this will yield raised water in some spots in our region.
Wednesday morning sees a brief break in the rain, before it continues in the afternoon. Expect another half inch of rain, further increasing the rise in water levels. Moisture and rainfall overnight will keep lows in the upper 50s, and highs will reach the upper 60s.
Thursday will be much cooler than we've seen in a while. Lows will be in the upper 40s, and highs will be in the mid 50s. This is due to colder air rushing in behind the aforementioned cold front. We will see our skies begin the clear out.
Friday sees lows in the mid 40s and highs in the mid 60s. Scattered instances of light rain will be present in the evening, but must of us will stay dry.

Saturday sees a quick jump in temperature from the upper 40s to the upper 60s. We will have clear, sunny skies making it a great day for outdoor chores or activities!
Sunday, we will continue to warm up. Temperatures will rise from the low 50s to the low 70s. Partly cloudy skies bring us another gorgeous day.
Looking ahead, expect showers on Monday and Tuesday, with highs near 80!

We're tracking hot and humid weather over the weekend as highs both today and tomorrow reach the low to mid 90s and heat index values reach the triple digits. This heat will allow extra energy and strength to fuel incoming storms. Saturday looks to remain mainly dry throughout the day up until midafternoon through the evening when storms are likely to develop. There is a risk for isolated severe storms south of I-16 and scattered severe storms north of I-16 today. The main threats include damaging straight-line wind and heavy rain embedded within the storms. A dry period of weather moves in overnight, but storms ramp right back up late morning to early afternoon tomorrow. All of the viewing area sees a possibility of scattered severe storms tomorrow with the threats remaining the same with damaging straight-line winds and heavy rain. Because of the severe storm threat this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday are The storm chances do not look to be going anywhere as we continue to see fronts stall around us all week allowing for scattered storms to continue. Monday has already been put under a medium risk of seeing scattered severe storms. Monday will also be a with threats including gusty winds and heavy rain. It is possible that this severe storm risk will continue this upcoming work week as temperatures stay in the 90s and heat index values stay in or very close to the triple digits allowing extra energy to fuel storms. Next chance of showers and storms will arrive closer to sunset. Seasonable temperatures near 80 this afternoon will not feel as nice with some humidity sticking around. Additional rain rolls in tonight. This comes will a few chances for thunderstorms as well. No storms that do develop are expected to be severe. Humidity sticks around too keeping things muggy with mild temperatures falling into the mid 60s. Tomorrow clears out most of the rain during the morning. While most of the day will stay dry, there are going to be a few chances up pop-up showers and storms by the afternoon. A low pressure center scooting over the region will drop temperatures a little, but high will remain fairly close to seasonable. A cold front pushes through central Ohio on Monday bring yet another round of showers and storms. They are not expected to arrive until the late afternoon hours. This will also be the coolest day of the week. Conditions for the rest of the work week are going to stay mainly dry as temperatures eventually warm back up into the mid 80s. Saturday drier and warmer conditions take hold. Skies will be mostly sunny and highs will be in the low to mid-80s across the Denver metro area. CBS A weak push of cooler air from the north will increase low-level moisture, setting the stage for a cooler and cloudier Sunday. Highs will fall back into the low to mid-70s, with a return of isolated to scattered afternoon thunderstorms.
