Baltimore Ravens Schedule Predictions 2025: Game by Game Ravens Picks

Yahoo3 days ago
The Baltimore Ravens have won double-digit games in each of the last three seasons but haven't been to the Super Bowl since 2012. While dominating in the regular season remains important, what matters more than ever for Lamar Jackson and Co. is getting over their playoff woes.
Let's dive into our game-by-game Ravens schedule predictions for this season.
Week 1 @ Buffalo Bills: Win (1-0)
The Ravens' schedule opens with an opportunity for revenge against the Buffalo Bills. Not only should this be the best game in Week 1, but it could also be one of the best NFL games in 2025. Baltimore and Buffalo are evenly matched, but we give a slight edge to the Ravens' offense and defense in both matchups. That makes the difference, especially late in the game, with Baltimore pulling out a win.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 28, Buffalo Bills 24

Week 2 vs Cleveland Browns: Win (2-0)
This should be a one-sided matchup, even if the Cleveland Browns' defense delivers some good drives. Defensively, Baltimore boasts far too much talent in the secondary and front seven for Cleveland's offense to have any sustained success. Turnovers and a few sacks will help Baltimore coast to a two-score win over the Browns.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 28, Cleveland Browns 14
Related:
Week 3 vs Detroit Lions: Win (3-0)
The timing of this matchup with the Detroit Lions could prove favorable for Baltimore. There's no doubt that the Lions roster is outstanding and their experience gives them a real shot at winning a matchup against a top-three team. However, the inexperience of the new play-callers and the small mistakes that naturally occur when still settling into new systems are enough to swing this. Baltimore pulls out a close one, in what could prove to be a Super Bowl preview.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 34, Detroit Lions 31

Week 4 @ Kansas City Chiefs: Win (4-0)
There remains a real likelihood that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is serving a suspension for this matchup. If that's the case, it will have a significant impact on the Chiefs' offense and that makes this draw easier for Baltimore. It'll be a nail-biter, but Rice's absence looms large late as Jackson outduels Patrick Mahomes to keep the Ravens undefeated.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 30, Kansas City Chiefs 24

Week 5 vs Houston Texans: Win (5-0)
The Houston Texans' offensive line is going to cost them multiple wins this season, including against the Ravens. DeMeco Ryans is a defensive savant, and the talent he has to work with matches up well against the Ravens' offense. That will keep this a one-score game, but it's going to be the Ravens' pass rush that really controls the outcome.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 21, Houston Texans 17

Week 6 vs Los Angeles Rams: Loss (5-1)
The Ravens' dreams of an undefeated season come to an end early. The Los Angeles Rams come into Baltimore with one of the best offenses in the NFL. What also separates this year's team from last season's squad is the quality of the offensive line. Baltimore won't get to Matthew Stafford quickly enough, allowing him to hit Puka Nacua and Davante Adams enough to sustain scoring drives. On the other side of the ball, the Rams' front seven simply overwhelms Baltimore up front.
Prediction: Los Angeles Rams 28, Baltimore Ravens 20

Week 8 vs Chicago Bears: Win (6-1)
The Chicago Bears have a bright future, but it takes time for a quarterback to settle into Ben Johnson's system, and this pass rush is just league average. Those two issues are enough to allow Baltimore to come out of this one comfortably, pulling out a 10-point victory.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 31, Chicago Bears 21
Read More:
Week 9 @ Miami Dolphins: Win (7-1)
The Miami Dolphins secondary is going to be in for a very long day. With even a little time to throw, Jackson will pepper Zay Flowers and company with targets against the worst cornerback room in the NFL. That's really all Baltimore needs to come out of this one with a 7-1 record.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 35, Baltimore Ravens 24
Week 10 @ Minnesota Vikings: Loss (7-2)
It will be a defense-driven battle, with both clubs exchanging big hits and racking up multiple sacks. Baltimore should be successful in making quarterback J.J. McCarthy uncomfortable, but Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores is just as skilled at frustrating MVP-caliber quarterbacks. With the added edge of home-field advantage, the Vikings hand the Ravens their second loss of the year.
Prediction: Minnesota Vikings 20, Baltimore Ravens 17
Week 11 @ Cleveland Browns: Win (8-2)
Rebounding from the loss in Minnesota, Baltimore gets to bounce back quickly against the Browns. Again, this is a matchup where Myles Garrett and the Browns' defensive line can cause some problems for Jackson. Fortunately, Derrick Henry rips off some big runs, and the Ravens put on a defensive clinic to secure their 8-2 record as they head back home.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 23, Cleveland Browns 10

Week 12 vs New York Jets: Win (9-2)
The New York Jets have a bright future under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn, especially with some of the young talent they have on both sides of the ball. With that acknowledged, Baltimore knows it can exploit the Jets' No. 2 cornerback, Brandon Stephens. Between that weak spot and the significant advantage the Ravens' defense holds over a Justin Fields-led offense, Baltimore should win this one with ease.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 31, New York Jets 14
Week 13 vs Cincinnati Bengals: Win (10-2)
The Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals offenses exchanged explosive plays in their meetings last year, and we expect that once again during the 2025 NFL season. Joe Burrow will do everything in his power to match Jackson touchdown for touchdown, but the vast difference in talent and coaching between these clubs swings the matchup in the Ravens' favor.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 38, Cincinnati Bengals 31
Week 14 vs Pittsburgh Steelers: Win (11-2)
The Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers have a history of fantastic matchups. However, we're not as confident it'll be quite as good a battle this year. Pittsburgh's offense doesn't have much offensive weaponry outside of DK Metcalf, and Baltimore certainly has the defensive backs to take him away. If their WR1 is blanked, a 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers is in for a very long day against this Ravens defense.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 28, Pittsburgh Steelers 20
Read More:
Week 15 @ Cincinnati Bengals: Loss (11-3)
Just two weeks after beating Burrow and the Bengals in a shootout, Baltimore lets one slip away in Week 15. Cincinnati's offensive line holds up better in pass protection, and the young defensive talent begins delivering more consistency. With the support of that and a third-quarter interception thrown by Jackson, Cincinnati is able to pull out the win.
Prediction: Cincinnati Bengals 31, Baltimore Ravens 27
Week 16 vs New England Patriots: Win (12-3)
The Ravens will handle the Patriots in Week 16 thanks to Baltimore's relentless defensive pressure and opportunistic secondary that'll disrupt New England's rhythm. That's what will cause the real issue for New England, resulting in three turnovers with two of them turned into scoring drives by this Ravens offense.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 30, New England Patriots 13
Week 17 @ Green Bay Packers: Win (13-3)
A young Green Bay Packers receiving corps is really going to be in for it against the Ravens' secondary. This will also be a revenge game for Jaire Alexander, assuming he's healthy. Ultimately, Baltimore's advantages in pass defense and its ability to run the football will swing this matchup, but it should be a great duel all four quarters.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 34, Green Bay Packers 28
Week 18 @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Win (14-3)
We're expecting the Steelers to be out of the playoff mix by this point in the season, and Aaron Rodgers will be ready to retire. Baltimore will still be playing for home-field advantage in the AFC, earning that critical first-round bye. Jackson and Henry get the Ravens out to an early 20-10 lead in the third quarter, and then this team finishes its season with a 14-3 regular-season record.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 20, Pittsburgh Steelers 13

Chiefs players ‘teased' Travis Kelce in locker room for 2016 dating show, Derrick Johnson says

There was a time when Travis Kelce's dating life was the subject of entertainment media, even without Taylor Swift. In 2016, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had his own dating show, 'Catching Kelce,' on which he tried out dating 50 women, one from each state, in an attempt to find a girlfriend. Advertisement The show lasted one season. Kelce's former teammate, Chiefs all-time tackle leader Derrick Johnson, told Fox News Digital how the locker room reacted to Kelce's dating show. 'He tried not to [talk about the show in the locker room] but we kind of teased him at times, because when you're playing for Andy Reid, there's no distractions. You got to do your job and do it at a high level. So we were aware of the show in the locker room. We'd throw different stuff out there. But when it came to football, it was all business,' Johnson said. Kelce turned 27 in October 2016 when the show aired, overlapping with that year's NFL season. Advertisement The tight end was in the midst of his first 1,000-yard receiving season and second-of-10-straight Pro Bowl seasons. And while the teasing for the show came in the locker room, Johnson says the team's veterans also respected the younger Kelce's abilities when it came to dating. 'He had that taken care of. Good or bad, that's the area that he needs no help in,' Johnson said. 5 Travis Kelce led the dating show 'Catching Kelce' in 2016. YouTube/E! Advertisement 5 The NFL star's dating show only lasted one season. E! 5 Kelce did not date the winner of his show for a long time. E! The show's first and only season ended with Kelce choosing a contestant from Kentucky, Maya Benberry, as his girlfriend. However, by 2017, Kelce was reported to have begun dating his next girlfriend, model Kayla Nicole. Advertisement Kelce and Nicole reportedly dated for five years up until May 2022. Once Kelce began his relationship with Swift in 2023, Johnson took notice. 5 Kelce was 'teased' about his dating show in the locker room, according to Chiefs all-time tackle leader Derrick Johnson. Fox News 5 Kelce started dating Taylor Swift in 2023. AP 'He outkicked his coverage. Taylor's big time,' Johnson said. 'Kelce's big time as well, football-wise, but she is globally. So they're definitely a power couple.' Johnson left the Chiefs for the rival Raiders for his final season in 2018, but his lasting influence preceded the team's historic dynasty and three Super Bowl wins, with five total trips to the big game, from 2019 to February 2024. Johnson was famously a team leader on defense in the early years of Kelce's career. 'None of us knew who he could really be. He probably didn't know it at all either. And once he got going after his second year, third year, I was like, 'This guy is the man!'' Johnson said.

Jose Iglesias, Jackson Merrill hit home runs as Padres beat Giants again, 5-1

SAN FRANCISCO — Jose Iglesias hit a two-run homer in the second inning, Jackson Merrill connected in the eighth for insurance, and the San Diego Padres beat the struggling San Francisco Giants 5-1 on Tuesday night. San Diego moved into a first-place tie with the Dodgers in the NL West race after Los Angeles lost to the Angels in 10 innings — a position Padres manager Mike Shildt expected his club to be for the season's stretch run. Jake Croneworth contributed an RBI single in the fourth and Jason Adam (8-3) worked out of a bases-loaded jam by getting the final two outs of the sixth for the win. The Padres took a lead in the first getting Manny Machado's two-out single followed by a double from Xander Bogaerts before Robbie Ray (9-6) was called for a balk that brought home the first run. San Francisco — which lost for the 12th time in 13 home games — tied it on Wilmer Flores' two-out single in the bottom half. Heliot Ramos broke a bat over his knee in frustration in the second following strikeouts in consecutive at-bats. The Giants dropped their fourth straight game and Ray's winless stretch reached seven starts since beating Arizona on July 3 in Phoenix. The lefty allowed four runs on seven hits over six innings, struck out four and walked one. San Diego's Nestor Cortes struck out six with one walk while giving up one run and six hits in 4 2/3 innings. San Francisco's Dominic Smith extended his career-best hitting streak to 15 games with a pinch-hit single to load the bases in the sixth and chase David Morgan. The Padres secured their season-best fifth straight winning series and improved to 8-1-2 over their last 11 series dating to July 4-6 against Texas. RHP Nick Pivetta (11-4, 2.94 ERA) pitches the series finale for San Diego, while the Giants send RHP Kai-Wei Teng (1-1, 5.40) to the mound for his second start and third appearance of 2025. ___ AP MLB:
