‘Perfect Match' Season 3: Which Couples Are Still Together?
The Netflix reality show brings together a bunch of singles from a variety of different reality shows. Usually it's just Netflix originals, but this year they've invited cast members from Love Island, The Bachelor, and other shows too.
In each episode the cast must chose who to match up with and the following day they compete in a challenge. The winning couple from the challenge then gets to head to the boardroom where they can send themselves or their fellow cast members on dates with newbies. And then when everyone is back in the villa after various dates they must then choose who to match up with that evening.
It leads to a lot of couple swapping and the dumping of many contestants. However, throughout the show there's been some strong couples, and right now as of the first six episodes airing there's five couples. So who is in a couple right now? And which matches are still together IRL? Here's what you need to know.
Relationship status: Still together
Ok so technically at the end of episode six Olly is in a match with Justine, however, we already know that Olly and AD are now engaged and expecting a baby together.
The pair shocked the reality TV world, when back in March earlier this year the couple announced they were engaged, as we had no idea at the time they were even dating. However, it was shortly announced later that they appeared on Perfect Match together.
At the start of the series they instantly connected and were all over each other. However, after building a strong connection, the beginning of episode six shocked viewers when Nick Lachey turned up.
He revealed Daniel and Lucy had been given the task of who to send home and it was decided that AD and Freddie should leave.
AD and Olly both seemed extremely upset by the decision, but it lead to Olly going on a date with two women—Justine and Olivia. He ended up rematching with Justine. However, given we know he and AD are now engaged and expecting a baby, we reckon she'll return to the house at some point.

Lucy and Daniel have been together from day one. However, it hasn't always been smooth sailing. They've had some high highs, including a very spicy bondage date, but they've also had some low lows. At one point during the season Daniel called Lucy 'embarrassing' which naturally caused her to get upset and doubt their connection.
Despite this however, the pair chose to match again at the end of episode six with Daniel apologizing. Lucy acknowledged that while it was a painful moment she didn't want to throw their connection away after one argument.

Who would have thought Too Hot To Handle's Louis would be in one couple for the whole show? As of the end of episode six he's been with The Ultimatum's Sandy for their entire time in the house.
They matched on day one and have continued building a strong connection. There's been some bumps in the road, including one of Louis' other interests Alex saying she would be up for a threesome, which Sandy was not down for.
And in episode six the pair had one of their most dramatic moments when Louis called Sandy out for getting to know one of the other guys. They ended the episode matching but not on great terms. Louis then apologized to Sandy when they were in bed together and so now they seem to be on a better track.

Would it be a dating show without Love Island's Scott? No of course not. The Islander entered the house after being chosen for Rachel to go on a date with. It's still pretty early days for these two but they seem to have a good connection and chemistry, and neither seem interested in getting to know anyone else. Could we see Scott end a show in a couple?

Madison and Jalen are the newest couple to make a match. They got together after Madison's previous match Freddie was chosen to leave the house after Lucy and Daniel had to send someone on a date and that meant their current match had to leave.
Madison was devastated when Freddie left but has been getting on pretty well with Jalen so far, so maybe he is a better match for her?

MGK Was Supposed To Be A Vampire In Sinners
Machine Gun Kelly apparently had the chance to audition for a vampire role in Ryan Coogler's runaway 2025 hit movie Sinners, but he turned it down for one solid reason. On the Aug. 1 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, the "Cliche" singer explained that he declined to audition for the movie, which became a commercial success, when he learned that a racial slur would be used. MGK was not down to say the n-word. Straight up. "Like 'Sinners,' I was supposed to be in that," MGK said. "The vampire, they had me set up to do the audition — it's the one that's in the house, so he's the second vampire, the one that the guy comes and eats the family. In the audition, he has to say the 'n-word' and I wouldn't do it." Sinners premiered on April 18, 2025, and featured actors Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, and Delroy Lindo, and more. MGK is likely talking about Bert, the KKK member turned vampire portrayed by Peter Dreimanis. The character and his wife, Joan (Lola Kirke), were made vampires by Remmick (Jack O'Connell). One audition turned down isn't going to keep MGK from pursuing acting. "I have a lot of aspirations to be in movies, it just hasn't panned out that way," he said. "I'm on universal timing," MGK explained, before adding, "It'll align. The angels will put something in the works." "There's been plenty of movies that come out that I was like, ah, I was supposed to be in that, or I did auditions for that." MGK, under his real name Colson Baker, has starred in several films throughout the years outside of his music projects. He had a part in the Netflix movies Project Power (2020) and Birdbox (2018), as well as the Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt as Tommy Lee. Love Island spoilers: Former contestants return to the villa to dump couple hours before final
We're just one day away from the finale of Love Island 2025 (*cry*), but one couple won't be making it to the end of the series, which airs on 4 August. In a brutal twist, a string of former Love Island contestants from this season have returned to the villa, and who they choose to dump has been described as "savage". "Familiar faces make a savage choice," Love Island's First Look on Instagram reads, with a clip showing the likes of Harrison, Alima, Emily and Tommy returning to the villa. The preview has prompted plenty of fans to speculate how the former Islanders will make their decision, with lots of viewers concerned that their favourites will be given the boot. "Worst ever decision to let a group of biased and bitter people back to vote," one person commented on the post, as someone else said: "You better not let us down Islanders... do the right thing." The Islanders' decision won't come totally out of the blue, though, as they'll pick who to dump based on the public's previous compatibility vote – which already sent Conor and Megan packing last week. "As you know, last night Megan and Conor were dumped as a result of receiving the least amount of votes for most compatible couple," Maya tells the Islanders on tonight's episode. "I'm now going to reveal the two other couples who received the fewest votes and are at risk of being dumped from the Island." Going on, Maya reveals that "one more couple" will be dumped from the villa there and then. "And that decision will be made by some very familiar faces." "Welcome back guys," she says, addressing this season's former contestants. "You must now individually decide which couple is the least compatible. The couple with the most votes will be dumped from the Island immediately." As for who is dumped in tonight's episode, we'll have to wait and see. Although, according to a source who spoke to the Mail Online, the pair that's sent packing have been a "big part" of the series, resulting in a "shocking" moment when their departure is announced. ‘Squid Game' Over As Media Tires Of Survival Series
Netflix survival thriller series Squid Game has ended its run with a season which got less than half the media coverage it had during the month following its debut four years ago. The Korean streaming show became an almost-overnight success when it was released in September 2021 thanks to its timely viral premise. Its name refers to a deadly series of secret games which cash-strapped players compete in for the chance to win $30 million. The games are overseen by the Front Man, a mysterious character who is clad in black and protected by an army of masked guards in pink jumpsuits. The story is told from the perspective of Seong Gi-hun, a divorced father and indebted gambling addict who lives with his elderly mother. He soon finds that if a player loses a game it results in their death which increases the prize pool. It makes for tense storytelling as Gi-hun triumphs and sets out for revenge against the Front Man only to be told that he can't stop the games because human nature perpetuates them. Squid Game's debut season still stands as Netflix's most-watched show with 265.2 million views in its first 91 days of streaming. Its success was all the more surprising given that the show is in Korean so English viewers have to watch it dubbed or with subtitles. As a result, the show launched with little fanfare and caught the media completely off guard. This is reflected in data from Factiva, a search engine owned by Dow Jones which includes content from 33,000 news, data and information sources in 32 languages. It shows that Squid Game wasn't mentioned in the media at all in June and July 2021, just a matter of months before its debut. It attracted 1,524 articles when it launched in September 2021 and rose almost eight-fold to 11,943 the following month as word spread. Despite its dystopian and far-fetched premise, many viewers remarked on how relatable the show is and there is good reason for this. Squid Game was created, written and directed by South Korean filmmaker Hwang Dong-hyuk who based it on his own economic struggles as well as the class disparity in his home country. This authenticity paid off as the show earned a flurry of awards including six Primetime Emmys and one Golden Globe. As the hype continued to build, it set the scene for season two to get even more media coverage than its predecessor but it was not to be. The second season launched on Boxing Day last year and became Netflix's biggest television debut ever with a total of 126.2 million views across 11 days. However, by then saturation had begun to set in as Squid Game hadn't just taken Netflix by storm, it had also partnered with everything from Domino's pizza to the Duolingo online language learning program in an attempt to drive even more exposure. This appears to have had the opposite effect as the number of times Squid Game was mentioned in the media fell to 7,890 in December last year which presumably would not have happened if the public had still been lapping it up as much as when it debuted. No doubt this wasn't helped by the fact that the show's novelty had worn off and, to his credit, Dong-hyuk could see the writing on the wall. In stark contrast to filmmakers for studios such as Disney, Dong-hyuk said that the third season of Squid Game would be the "finale" and it was filmed back-to-back with the second one. Season three was released in June this year and was yet another knockout for Netflix as it became the first show in the streamer's history to debut at number one in all 93 countries where its users are based. What's more, the 60.1 million views that season three attracted in its first three days were more than any other show has attained in the same period. However, it failed to reach the heady heights of its predecessors and currently stands in third place on the list of the ten most popular non-English Netflix shows of all time as shown in the table below. Tellingly, both the number of views and the number of hours viewed have fallen sharply with the release of each season since the first debuted in 2021. Similarly, Google records show that the peak number of times 'Squid Game' was searched during June this year was around a third lower than in October 2021 following the release of the first season. Likewise, the 5,343 media mentions of the show in June were less than half the total from October four years ago. Both season one and three launched towards the end of the month and the bulk of the media coverage would usually be expected in advance to promote them. A different picture emerges when comparing the coverage during the week of release as the third season leads the way with 2,742 mentions in the media followed by 2,047 for season two and just 227 for the inaugural instalment. This suggests that the core fanbase of Squid Game fans became increasingly interested with every season whilst the wider appeal waned which is why the coverage of the show didn't increase as time went by. It highlights the need for Netflix to continue commissioning new content as even shows which once seemed to be bulletproof can eventually fall in popularity. Squid Game isn't the streamer's only show which is ending in 2025. Hit retro-style supernatural drama Stranger Things will also come to a close with the debut of its fifth season at the end of the year. However, unlike Squid Game, it is finishing on a high as its fourth season became Netflix's most-watched English language series when it debuted in 2022. Squid Game does however still have some fight left in it as an English-language version directed by David Fincher is under development. It is rumoured that it will star Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett, who made a cameo in Season 3 of the Korean version. Time will tell whether it can get back to its winning ways in the media.
