Audi Q6 And SQ6 Sportback e-trons On Sale This Month, But They'll Cost You

Auto Blog11-07-2025
It's the pricier, less practical, but more stylish sibling of the Q6 e-tron
Is it even a modern SUV if it doesn't have a more stylish, coupe-like sibling? The new Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron officially goes on sale this month, having been revealed for the first time last year. Although it shares much with the normal Q6 e-tron, the Sportback version boasts more distinctive rear styling and a higher base price. It's also joined by the powerful SQ6 Sportback e-tron, and considering that the normal Q6 e-tron is one of Audi's best-selling electric models right now, the arrival of the Sportback version is big news.
Standard Quattro But Same Trim Structure
Like the standard Q6 e-tron, the Q6 Sportback e-tron is available in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels, each adding more features than the previous model. Notably, the Sportback gets standard dual motors and quattro AWD, whereas the Q6 e-tron comes standard with RWD and a single motor.
Pricing for the new Q6 Sportback e-tron is as follows:
Premium: $69,600
Premium Plus: $73,400
Prestige: $75,400
By comparison, the base Q6 e-tron Premium starts at $63,800, a full $5,800 less than its Sportback sibling. Even after adding the dual motors and AWD to the non-Sportback model, it's still $3,800 cheaper than its Sportback sibling.
The single-motor Q6 e-tron produces 322 horsepower and has a 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds, whereas the dual-motor powertrain (standard on the Sportback) makes 456 hp and drops the 0-60 time down to 4.9 seconds. That's quite a difference, so we'd be inclined to upgrade to the dual-motor variant on the Q6 e-tron.
The total range on a full charge is barely affected by whether or not you go for RWD (up to 321 miles) or AWD (up to 319 miles).
Sportback Is Generously Equipped
Even the base Q6 Sportback e-tron comes with features like 19-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, and the sportier S line exterior. Upgrading to the Premium Plus adds an augmented reality head-up display, a top-view camera system, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a heated steering wheel. Finally, the range-topping Prestige gets an adaptive air suspension, acoustic front door glass, a 10.9-inch passenger-side display, and more advanced daytime running lights.
The Sportback model is still decently practical, although it loses 1.4 inches of rear headroom due to that sloping roofline. Trunk space behind the second row is 26.1 cubic feet, down from 30.2 cubes in the non-Sportback Q6 e-tron.
High-Performance SQ6 Sportback e-tron
Power-hungry buyers will prefer the SQ6 Sportback e-tron, which combines the sportiest looks with a dual-motor powertrain that produces up to 509 hp. With standard AWD, it flies to 60 mph in only 4.1 seconds, but the range does drop to 283 miles.
This variant is a pricey prospect, as shown below:
Premium: $76,300
Premium Plus: $79,700
Prestige: $81,700
Standard 20-inch alloys, massaging front seats, and carbon micro-twill inlays in the cabin elevate this model above the normal Q6 Sportback e-tron, though. You may notice that these prices overlap with the Q8 e-tron, although 2024 was the latter's last model year, and the Q8 e-tron was starting to show its age.
These new Q6 and SQ6 Sportback e-trons are now the electric Audi SUVs to have. They can now be configured on Audi's USA website, and sales begin this month.

2026 Toyota Camry Trim Matchup: Base LE Vs. Flagship XSE

You have to build these Bronco and Bronco Sport projects yourself if you really want one. Good news is, Ford's selling the parts for you to do just that. The Fenomeno is the latest model to join Lambo's Few Off lineup, limited to just under 30 units worldwide. Ford cut 2026 Explorer prices, but heavy discounts on 2025 models may offer even better deals for buyers willing to skip the newest model year. View post: 2026 Ford Explorer Is Less Expensive — But Should You Get a 2025 Model Instead? Base Camry offers unbeatable value, while top model threatens some premium models Although still early in its life, it's safe to say that the all-new Toyota Camry has been a success. Not only is this hybrid-only sedan highly efficient and good to drive, but it has been performing well on the sales charts, too. If you're considering a new Camry, you may wonder which of the four trims is best. We've already compared the lower two trims, but how different is the entry-level LE to the top-spec XSE, and is the latter worth its $6,200 price premium? Let's find out. Camry LE Vs. XSE Pricing We'll start by looking at the pricing of the 2026 Toyota Camry. It starts at $29,000 for the base LE and goes all the way up to $36,725 for the XSE AWD. Between these trims, there is the SE ($31,300), Nightshade Edition ($32,300), XLE ($34,000), and XSE ($35,200). All these trims are available with AWD. Even after its 2026 price increase, the base Camry LE is tremendous value, but the range-topping XSE adds a number of desirable amenities, aesthetic upgrades, and tech features. Surprisingly, the driving experience is also markedly improved. Design: Rental Car Vibes Vs. Near-Premium Appeal Toyota Camry LE Toyota Camry XSE Sitting on rather small 16-inch wheels and with white paint (other colors are available), the base Camry LE does look a little plain. The XSE immediately makes a better first impression with its 19-inch wheels, a color-keyed sport mesh front grille, gloss-black air curtains, a black rear spoiler, and a color-keyed rear sport lower diffuser. Bi-LED projector headlights are standard on the LE, while the range-topping XSE gets dual LED headlights, premium LED taillights, and a sportier exhaust with dual chrome tips. Although not visible to the naked eye, acoustic noise-reducing front side glass helps to keep noise levels lower in the XSE. Toyota Camry XSE — Source: Toyota The LE is available with a few more interesting colors than the white pictured above, but only the XSE gets access to a color palette with a black contrast roof. These changes don't necessarily make the XSE a better car, but it looks a lot better than the basic LE. Interior: It's Easy To See Where The Extra Cash Goes Toyota Camry LE Toyota Camry XSE All new Camrys get a smartly designed and practical cabin, but there are substantial differences between the base LE and the range-topping XSE. The LE is the only Camry trim with fabric-trimmed seats and manual adjustment for the driver's seat, whereas the XSE gets genuine leather upholstery, eight-way powered front seats, and standard heated seats. Touchpoints like the steering wheel and shift knob have a leather covering in the XSE. In the XSE, you also get the option of a Cockpit Red interior, a much more expressive look than the LE's black or grey interior colors. Toyota Camry XSE — Source: Toyota Other features you get as standard on the XSE but which are not available for the LE include the following: Aluminum sport pedals Paddle shifters White LED ambient interior lighting 12.3-inch touchscreen 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster The LE has a smaller eight-inch touchscreen and seven-inch digital gauge cluster. On the options list, the LE can't be equipped with features like ventilated front seats, a head-up display, a panoramic glass roof, or the upgraded nine-speaker JBL sound system, all of which are available on the XSE. It's inside where one can most tell the difference between the base Camry and the top-of-the-range model. Safety Equipment Source: Toyota The LE matches the XSE in terms of the standard specification. Both trims come standard with eight airbags, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, radar-based cruise control, lane departure alert, road sign assist, and more. The main difference exists on the options list. Here, you can upgrade the XSE with advanced features such as traffic jam assist, a surround-view monitor, lane change assist, front/rear parking assistance, and front cross-traffic alert. None of these are available on the XSE. Performance: Same Performance, But LE Is More Efficient Than XSE Both the Camry LE and Camry XSE are equipped with the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine. It produces 225 horsepower with front-wheel drive or 232 hp with all-wheel drive, so straight-line performance is comparable regardless of whether you go for the base model or the top one. All models have an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. In our review, we found the Camry to be an excellent drive. The powertrain is quiet and the gas engine kicks in more smoothly than before. There is more of a difference between the LE and XSE when the road begins to twist, though, as only the latter gets sport-tuned shocks and springs. 2026 Toyota Camry — Source: Toyota Whereas the LE prioritizes comfort, the XSE remains tolerable on rough roads but exhibits much tauter steering. Turn-in is more responsive and its body stays flatter through corners, so the XSE is the easy pick for more enthusiastic drivers. Due to its lower weight and smaller wheels, the LE is more efficient, though. With FWD, the base trim gets 53/50/51 mpg city/highway/combined, a superb effort for a spacious sedan. AWD drops that to 51/49/50 mpg. In the sportier XSE, expect 48/47/47 mpg with FWD and 44/43/44 mpg with AWD. When both are equipped with FWD, the LE will get an extra 52 miles per tank, which isn't insignificant. Final Thoughts Toyota Camry XSE — Source: Toyota You can easily make a case for the base Camry or its fully loaded sibling. The LE is incredibly efficient, yet has the same outputs as the pricier XSE. Toyota has also done a good job of equipping the LE with all the essential tech features, whereas the nice-to-haves are reserved for the XSE. The range-topping Camry looks and feels like a much more premium product, and even though it has the same power, we were surprised at how much more engaging it was to drive than the LE. Many top-spec trims come across as superfluous, but that's not the case with the Camry XSE. If you can afford the price bump, it's still a bargain when compared to base midsize sedans from luxury brands. About the Author Karl Furlong View Profile

Porsche Launches Sweet 2025 Panamera Lease Deal For August

The electric crossover segment is home to some of the industry's top rivalries, including that of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ford Mustang Mach-E. 2025 Porsche Panamera sticks to the script The 2025 Porsche Panamera might come with a sedan bodystyle and front engine, but it still carries the performance and driving dynamics the German brand is known for. Designed to provide an engaging driving experience similar to that of the Porsche 911 sports car, the Panamera (and its price tag) aren't for the faint of heart. Porsche is kicking off August with a sweet lease deal on a new Panamera, with monthly payments as low as $1,549 over a 39-month term. 2025 Porsche Panamera — Source: Porsche 2025 Porsche Panamera lease offer for August The 2025 Porsche Panamera comes with blazing performance and a price tag to match. For the month of August, the German manufacturer is offering a single nationwide lease offer on new Panamera models. Based on an MSRP of $115,745, you could get into a Panamera for as little as $1,549.25 per month, with a hefty $12,109 due at signing. That down payment includes the first month's payment, $1,095 acquisition fee, and $9,465 capitalized cost reduction. 2025 Porsche Panamera — Source: Porsche This Porsche Panamera lease deal is valid through September 2nd and spans a 39-month term, with a 32,500-mile allowance over the course of the contract. If you prefer to keep your upfront costs to a minimum, or you're short on liquid assets, you could inquire about a zero down payment plan. Spreading the $12,109.25 down payment over 39 payments would increase your monthly costs to an estimated $1,859.74 ($12,109.25/39 + $1,549.25). Qualified lessees must be approved through Porsche Financial Services. 2025 Porsche Panamera — Source: Porsche 2025 Porsche Panamera highlights The Porsche Panamera gets a few major changes for the 2025 model year, with two PHEVs and a range-topping GTS joining the lineup. Regardless of powertrain, all Panamera models share the same styling and chassis components. Hybrid models get an exclusive option, an active suspension system with hydraulic pumps that stabilize the Panamera over bumps and through corners. 2025 Porsche Panamera — Source: Porsche The base Panamera rocks out with a 348-horsepower turbocharged V6 engine mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While the base model sticks with RWD, stepping up to the Panamera 4 gets you standard AWD. Regardless of drivetrain, the 2025 Porsche Panamera is rated for an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in combined city/highway driving. The range-topping nonhybrid Porsche Panamera GTS rolls out with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 493 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque. That kind of power pushes the Panamera GTS to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. The Panamera GTS is rated for 18 mpg in combined city/highway driving. Hybrid Porsche Panamera models come with the same 2.9-liter V6 engine that powers the base model, along with electric motors and a 21.8 kWh battery. Thanks to the electric motors, performance gets boosted to 463 and 536 horsepower in the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid, respectively. The hybrid models have yet to be rated by the EPA. 2025 Porsche Panamera — Source: Porsche The Porsche Panamera is a true sedan in form and function, with seating for up to five passengers. Alternatively, you can swap out the rear bench for bucket seats, reducing seating to four. The model's price tag gives way to an interior with premium materials and plenty of tech. A 12.6-inch curved digital gauge cluster sits behind the steering wheel, while a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen rests nicely in the center dashboard. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, as does wireless smartphone charging. Final thoughts Porsche's four-door sports car fits the brand's portfolio perfectly, with plenty of performance under the hood and engaging driving dynamics to boot. Equipped with seating for up to five passengers, the Panamera's form follows function.
