Coronation Street star announces abrupt exit as character 'killed off' without warning

Daily Mirror2 days ago
One Coronation Street star confirmed they had left the ITV soap with their final scenes airing on Friday, with fans convinced their character was killed off in a twist
A Coronation Street star has confirmed their exit from the ITV soap and it's already aired.

In a brutal twist their character may have been killed off, after the actor's farewell post left fans convinced they were "brown bread". Logan Radcliffe was back on the ITV soap this week, visited in prison by Carla Connor.

She was desperate for answers on what happened to her partner Lisa Swain's late wife Becky Swain. It comes as Lisa was struggling to move forward, not knowing for sure if Becky was in trouble before her death and why she was killed, accident or not, and Carla wanted to help.

She visited Logan who demanded £10,000 for information he may have on Becky. He then let slip a name, Tia Wardley, while no context was given.
Whoever she is, it was enough to land Logan in trouble with a cellmate over a "mutual friend" he'd upset. He was told he had said too much, and with that his cell door was closed with it clear he was in danger.

As the episode came to an end, actor Harry Lowbridge, who pays Logan, took to Instagram to announce his exit from the show. Confirming his final scenes had now aired, the ones with the random cellmate, he confirmed post-attack he would not be seen again.
With that, fans were convinced Logan was now dead. They beloeved whoever Tia was, fake or not, he'd said too much and a mystery person made the cellmate punish him.
Fans believe it will emerge that Logan is dead, killed in his cell, with the actor confirming no more scenes were planned. He shared on Instagram: "Farewell Logan. It's been a blast x."

Taking to social media after the post and the scenes, fans shared their theories that the soap had just killed off a character without warning. One viewer said: "So Logan is brown bread then?"
Another fan agreed: "RIP Logan," as a third viewer said; "So Logan gets killed off in prison then!" A further comment read; "Harry posting a goodbye? Has Logan been killed in prison?"

The comments kept on coming with one fan writing: "Okay so when Logan is killed in prison then what?!" Whether Logan is dead or alive is yet to be revealed despite suspicions, with fans wondering if he will return at some point - and if we will find out who it was that orchestrated the attack.
Then there's the fact that Tia could or could not be linked to the plot. Why are people so desperate to keep the truth hidden too? All will have to be revealed at some point.

Kelly Osbourne thanks fans for ‘support' following death of father Ozzy

The rock legend was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and died at the age of 76 on July 22, surrounded by his family. Since his death, tributes have been pouring in from fans and friends around the world with thousands visiting the Black Sabbath Bench in the musician's home city of Birmingham to lay bouquets, wreaths, posters, balloons, candles and cards. The Osbourne family visited the bench in Broad Street last Wednesday to lay their own flowers during a cortege procession. Kelly, 40, who starred in the 2000s reality series The Osbournes, shared a post on her Instagram story on Monday thanking fans for their support. She said: 'I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough… but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 'The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain. 'Grief is a strange thing — it sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be ok for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. 'I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left you for being there. I love you all so much. – Kelly #BirminghamForever #OzzyForever.' On Monday, Birmingham City Council began gathering up the tributes so they can be stored before being handed over to the Osbourne family. A handful of fans watched from behind barriers, took photographs and hugged each other as officials in hi-vis jackets collected all the flowers and tributes which had been laid in front of the bench and on the railings behind it. The council said the mementos would be gathered and preserved 'respectfully' in agreement with the rock star's relatives and then stored 'with the utmost care at a secure location, ensuring they are protected and treated with dignity'. The council said: 'In due course, they will be passed on to the Osbourne family, so they may keep them as a lasting reminder of the public's affection and support.' In a statement released through the city council, the Osbourne family said: 'We are deeply moved by the heartfelt tributes that have been placed at the Black Sabbath Bridge and at the Black Sabbath mural on Navigation Street in recent days. 'These expressions of remembrance reflect the profound impact that Ozzy had on the city and its people, as well as fans from around the world – BIRMINGHAM FOREVER!'

Meghan Markle's As Ever brand posts gushing birthday tribute to praise 'the woman behind it all'

Meghan Markle 's As Ever brand has posted a gushing birthday tribute as the entrepreneur turns 44 years old. The Duchess' own lifestyle company took to Instagram with a black and white snapshot of the mom-of-two wearing a sundress and hat as she beamed into the distance. The caption enthused about Meghan and her role leading the company. 'Celebrating the woman behind it all,' it read. 'She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder.' It was then re-shared on As Ever's Instagram Story alongside two champagne flutes clinking together in celebration. Meghan launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, releasing the first products in April, which included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, amongst other things. She followed it up with an apricot spread and another honey, and in July, she expanded into the world of alcohol when she dropped her own wine - the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé. Each release has been met with fierce excitement from her fans, and every product has sold out pretty quickly. And her birthday comes just days after she announced another product coming to her As Ever line. Last week, the company revealed that following the buzz surrounding the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, it will be launching another wine, with a slight tweak... calling it the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé. It vowed that it will pretty much taste the same as As Ever's first wine. 'It marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavor,' read a press release. 'You'll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy. 'Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favorite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk.' In the release, As Ever listed some of the positive feedback customers had given the company over its first rosé, which included comments like, '10 out of 10,' 'perfect,' and 'elevated flavor.' Meghan launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, releasing the first products in April, which included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, amongst other things 'This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast,' As Ever added. 'Thank you for filling our cup. Now it's time for us to fill your glass! We are pleased to share that our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé will be available for purchase next week.' Last month, Daily Mail exclusively revealed that the alcoholic beverage is made by Fairwinds Estate, a California winery that creates bespoke wines for celebrities. The 2023 Napa Valley Rosé is described on the bottle as a 'delicately balanced rosé with soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish.' It has a 14.5 percent alcohol by volume for the 750ML bottle. The Daily Mail FEMAIL team tried the rosé and while the wine was smooth, we couldn't easily detect the notes of stone fruit. In fact, it tasted quite bland, and almost water-y. In addition, the rosé had some acidic notes, leaving a somewhat uncomfortable sensation at the back of our throats after swallowing. In the end, the verdict was the wine lacked flavor and tasted affordable and ordinary. It wasn't terrible - but it certainly wasn't great.
