Tribute film about North Wales' The Vivienne to air
A coroner ruled that the performer's death was by misadventure when Williams suffered cardiorespiratory arrest after taking ketamine.
The superstar, who was born in North Wales and attended Rydal Penrhos school in Colwyn Bay, rose to fame after winning the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019 and came third in the 2023 series of Dancing On Ice.
Williams adopted the drag name as they were known for wearing Vivienne Westwood clothing.
Through a blend of interviews, family photos, home videos and behind-the-scenes Drag Race footage, the film will celebrate The Vivienne's life charting their journey from North Wales and Liverpool through to the global stage.
The film will also include interviews with Williams' family, early mentors and Drag Race friends including Baga Chipz, Michael Marouli and Danny Beard.
Tia Kofi will also feature in the film along with Cheryl Hole, Raja, Monet X Change, and Trinity The Tuck, as they pay tribute to the drag star.
The film also touches on the star's self-confessed struggle with ketamine addiction and the campaigning done by The Vivienne's sister, Chanel Williams, who argues for better awareness around the dangers of the drug.
Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, co-founders of World of Wonder, who produced the film, said: 'We wanted to celebrate The Vivienne and not just mourn her.
'Although she left us far too soon her life was defined by her breathtaking talent, scene-stealing charisma, and infinite kindness.
'We hope her vision and her voice shine through in Dear Viv and that it inspires everyone who watches it.
'Although producing it was bittersweet, we are so grateful to friends and family for trusting us to tell The Vivienne's story. Above all, we hope Viv loves the film as much as we loved her.'

The hour-long feature film will be available to watch on BBC Three and iPlayer on August 28.

We know that's not you. We know that's not who you are as a person'. "So yeah shoutout to them two because they didn't need to do that." Recently, Dejon took to social media to remind the public that he's a "human being with real emotions". He posted on Instagram: "I've stayed quiet, but that doesn't mean it hasn't affected me. "I hold my self accountable for my communication and everyday I'm growing as a person, so thank you for those who see the good in me. |I'm not just a character on an entertainment reality tv show I'm also a human being with real emotions, some of the stuff I've seen said about me has been hard to deal with and they are the furthest thing from the truth." He added: "I questioned why people would do these things and it was getting me nowhere as I couldn't understand and is something I would never do to somebody else but what's kept me grounded is movement. "Running, training, pushing myself when everything in my head feels heavy. It clears my mind, helps me breathe, reminds me of who I am outside of the noise. "If you're struggling mentally, I get it. I really do. You don't have to have it all figured out just find that one thing that brings you back to yourself and take it one step at a time."

One person wrote, "Why did you put the beautiful, hilarious, heidi with matt? Heidi deserves this ad, you did her dirty by putting them together." Another warned, 'Sales are gonna plummet and they are gonna blame Heidi when it's actually Matt Rife's fault.' One viewer noted: 'In his Netflix special [he] joked about domestic violence… He's a very unlikeable person.' Another vowed, "I will never spend another dollar with elf. The U.S. Sun has contacted e.l.f. and Rife for comment. Kory Marchisotto, E.l.f. beauty's global chief marketing officer, told the Business of Fashion 'Obviously we're very surprised,' at the negative response. 'There is a big gap between our intention and how this missed the mark for some people... we always aim to deliver positivity, and this one didn't. "So we find ourselves in a position where, quite honestly, that doesn't feel good for us.' The firm issued a statement on Wednesday, which said, 'You know us, we're always listening and we've heard you. "This campaign aimed to humorously spotlight beauty injustice. "We understand we missed the mark with people we care about in our e.l.f. community. "While & schmarnes closes today, we'll continue to make the case against overpriced beauty.' It follows speculation about Rife undergoing multiple plastic surgeries - gossip that he quashed in his memoir published last year. Lucy Spraggan has opened up about the horrific injury she sustained while taking part in the extreme Channel 4 series, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Lucy Spraggan has disclosed the shocking moment she sustained a horrific injury whilst filming Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The former X Factor star is participating in the punishing series, which presently features The Traitors champion Harry Clark, S Club 7's Hannah Spearitt, Love Island personality Tasha Ghouri, Rebecca Loos, Conor Benn and Drag Race UK victor Bimini Bon Boulash. The famous faces are pushed to their limits undertaking the gruelling mental and physical tests needed to complete SAS selection. Previously, Strictly celebrity Pete Wicks was compelled to withdraw after fracturing multiple ribs and losing consciousness, whilst John Barrowman managed just 32 minutes last year before throwing in the towel. Several stars have followed a similar path this year, with vocalist Hannah departing within moments, followed swiftly by Louis Spence in the opening episode, and shortly after when Love Island's Chloe Burrows and Tasha both surrendered their armbands, reports the Mirror. Now, Lucy has revealed a horrific incident that occurred as she ripped her labia while she was attached to a harness during a stunt. She previously revealed she was having reconstructive surgery soon to correct it because it had "never been the same" after filming. Recalling the moment it happened, she told The Sun: "I was like: 'This feels really bad. Surely there can't be anything.' "And I looked and there was a tear, there was lots of blood and the doctor came over and I turned around because at that point you literally don't care about anything. "Dignity has gone. It was like: 'Oh my God, I thought it was your leg.' And I was like: 'No, no, it's not!'" She's now opened up in a new interview with LadBible about how the injury happened, while she was jumping off a viaduct and was in free fall for a few seconds before stopping. She said: "You hit that sort of lowest point, obviously there's quite a lot of like 'yank' and I knew that my harness was in a bit of an odd position, but you've got so much adrenaline when stuff like that's happening, you can't really be like, 'Oh, can I just move this?"' She went on: "I knew straight away that, like, that was a sincere amount of pain and it was f***ing sincere pain. "In midair, I was trying to, like, pull on the rope, so like to pull up to relieve some of the tension, in the harness." When she went to check herself after the task, she saw blood before a doctor came over and thought she had hurt her leg. Lucy added in the interview that she was surprised to see how much attention her injury had sparked, saying: "I just think that it's kind of crazy that men are always like, 'Oh, my balls, my balls, my balls,' the second that a woman is like, I've got a vulva [it's a big news story]." That wasn't the only injury Lucy faced however, as she almost knocked out her tooth, and fainted, landing face-first in the sea after jumping from a helicopter. She was left with a black eye on her wedding day in June last year, and said she "hit the sea so hard my filler migrated to the side of my face". "By that point I was just in pain everywhere," she revealed.
