THE man accused of murdering young stewardess Paige Bell aboard a £9.5million superyacht in the Bahamas has been pictured for the first time.
Crew member Brigido Munoz allegedly sexually assaulted and killed the South African in the 142ft vessel's engine room - just days before her 21st birthday.

Munoz appeared in court in capital Nassau, where Chief Magistrare Roberto Reckley denied him bail and remanded him in custody until a November 20 hearing.
The Mexican national, who worked as an engineer on board the Far From It yacht, was not required to enter a plea.
The magistrates court heard Paige was found partially clothed and bloodied, with slash wounds to her neck and defensive injuries on her arms – suggesting she fought for her life.
Munoz was reportedly discovered lying close by with injuries on his arms, in what authorities suspect may have been a failed suicide attempt, the New York Post reports.
He was rushed to hospital before being charged.
Bahamas police say they were alerted to the scene shortly after 1pm on July 3 and found Bell unresponsive in the engine room of the yacht.
The boat was anchored just off the celebrity-studded Harbour Island – dubbed the 'Billionaires' Backyard' due to its ultra-wealthy clientele.
According to reports, the crew had been preparing a lavish birthday celebration for Paige on July 14.
Her boyfriend had reportedly been planning a huge party both at the marina and onboard Far From It, which charters for a staggering £120,000 a week.
When Paige, from Johannesburg, didn't answer her phone or show up for duties, fellow crew members searched the luxury vessel before making the horror discovery in the engine room.
Police confirmed they are investigating both a murder and a suspected suicide attempt.
During her yachting career, Paige was described as a 'golden girl' by friends as she worked as a guest relations officer on Far From It.
A former colleague from her former boat Sweet Emocean described her as more than just a crew member.
They wrote: 'Paige was more than a teammate, she was family.
'Her radiant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless compassion made an unforgettable impact on everyone lucky enough to know her.'
The tragedy has shaken not just the yachting world but also the tight-knit community back home in South Africa.

A heartbreaking statement from Paige's family said that the ordeal has left them grappling with overwhelming grief and mounting legal costs as they navigate a foreign justice system.
Her parents flew out to Bahamas earlier this week to begin the painful process of bringing their girl back home as they want to seek justice for "the monster that took her life".
A heartbreaking statement from the family read: "Our family is facing an unimaginable journey.
"This evening [earlier this week] mom and dad are flying to the Bahamas to begin the painful process of not only bringing their baby girl home but also seeking justice for the monster that took her life.
"We are devastated beyond words and now we must also navigate complex and costly legal proceedings in a foreign country – something far beyond our financial means.
"This heart-breaking loss has been deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved 'Paigey' – her former captain, the boat owner, all the crew on board and our entire community.
"We are humbly asking for your support whether by sharing this message or contributing financially, every bit helps. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
"We are grateful for your love, support, and solidarity during this incredibly difficult time."
Despite the horror, her loved ones are determined to honour Paige's memory – with her mum reportedly still planning to mark her daughter's birthday with red velvet cake, her favourite.
Munoz remains behind bars as the investigation continues, with autopsy results and forensic analysis expected to further clarify the events that unfolded aboard Far From It.

Former MLB pitcher Dan Serafini guilty of murdering father-in-law after property dispute

Former MLB pitcher Dan Serafini was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2021 shooting that claimed the life of his father-in-law and left his mother-in-law injured. The attack took place in June 2021 in North Lake Tahoe, California. Serafini was found guilty of killing Robert Gary Spohr, 70, who was found dead in a house from a single gunshot. Serafini was also found guilty of shooting Spohr's wife, Wendy Wood, then 68, twice in the head. She recovered from the injures but took her own life one year later. Her family said the trauma of the attack led to her death. Prosecutors said the fatal incident involved a dispute over a property renovation project. Jurors were presented with text message evidence of the escalation of the disagreement and premeditation prior to the shooting. One text message by Serafini sent prior to the attack read, 'I'm going to kill them one day.' Serafini, who played seven years in the majors, and 33-year-old Samantha Scott were charged as co-defendants last year. In February, Scott pleaded guilty to an accessory charge and during the trial was introduced as a close friend of one of the Spohrs' daughters, Erin. Erin was married to Serafini and testified that they had an open marriage and was aware Scott was romantically involved with her husband. Erin Spohr testified that she did not believe Serafini murdered her father or shot her mother. Video surveillance from the home and surrounding area showed a man wearing a hood, face covering and a backpack walking to the Spohrs' home before the homicide. Evidence presented at the trial alleged Serafini waited for three hours in the house before attacking the couple. Spohr and Wood's daughter, Adrienne, said Serafini was guilty of a 'heinous and calculated' crime. 'It's been four years since my mom and dad were shot and it's been four years of just hell,' Adrienne Spohr said after the guilty verdict. 'Today, finally, justice was served.' Serafini is scheduled to be sentenced on 18 August. The Minnesota Twins selected Serafini, a native of the San Francisco area, with the No 26 overall pick in the 1992 MLB draft. He made his debut in 1996 and went on to appear in 104 games with the Twins, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies before his retirement in 2007. Serafini made more than $10m during his baseball career but lost much of it due to a divorce settlement and failed investments.

Armed burglar who threatened to stab homeowner is jailed

An armed burglar who forced his way into the home of a woman and her autistic child and threatened to stab her has been jailed for three years and nine months. Daniel Kelly told gardaí he was 'off his head' on crack cocaine and heroin at the time of the offence and that he normally doesn't do both drugs at the same time, Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard on Tuesday. Advertisement Kelly (36) of Kiltalown Road, Tallaght, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated burglary at an address in Dublin on July 6th, 2024. It is a charge that carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Kelly has 71 previous convictions including for robbery and public order offences. The court heard Kelly's co-accused – his former partner - knocked on the door of the house in question at around 3pm under the guise of trying to sell old clothes. When the homeowner answered the door, Kelly came out from around the side of the house, armed with a large kitchen knife. He forced his way into the hall and demanded money from the woman, telling her he would stab her if she didn't give it to him, Jane Murphy BL, prosecuting, said. Advertisement The woman's autistic child was present at the time and both were 'terrified' and in 'total shock', the court heard. The woman handed over €20 from her purse and a box of cigarettes before Kelly and his partner fled the scene. The child was upset and distressed after the burglary and he and his mother are still in fear, the court heard. CCTV footage Kelly and his partner were identified from local CCTV footage and Kelly was arrested. He told gardaí he was on drugs at the time and when asked if his partner was aware of what he was planning, he said: 'I'm not sure, even I didn't know.' A bench warrant has been issued for this woman's arrest, the court heard. Advertisement Kelly has been in custody since March and is doing well, defence counsel said. He is on a methadone programme and has managed to reduce his intake. He was 'devastated' to hear that the child in the house was autistic and was unaware of this fact at the time, defence counsel said. Ireland CHI apologies for delay in diagnosing liver cancer... Read More Kelly has a number of children and is due to become a grandfather soon, the court heard. Sentencing Kelly on Tuesday, Judge Orla Crowe noted the homeowner and her child were 'terrified' as a result of the burglary. 'This was an invasion of a home with a knife,' she said, adding it was a frightening experience for the woman and her vulnerable child. She took into account a number of mitigating factors, including Kelly's extremely difficult childhood, his plea of guilty and his efforts to rehabilitate from drugs, which she noted was 'no small achievement'. She handed down a sentence of four years and six months and suspended the final nine months on a number of conditions.
