National 75-year-old dies, one missing after boat capsizes on Wisconsin River, cops say
Two vanished when a boat capsized on the Wisconsin river, police said. One was found dead and another is still missing.

Three people were on a boat in the Wisconsin River when the vessel capsized, and only one made it back, police said.
Two were submerged under the 'volatile' waters, while one was able to swim safely to the shore, Wisconsin Dells police said on April 3.
Now, rescuers are still searching for 20-year-old Francesco L. Di Filippo of Chicago days after the boat flipped, police said in an April 5 Facebook post.
Luis F. Di Filippo, 75, also from Chicago, was found dead in the water on April 4, police said.
The search efforts have been hindered by the dangerous waters, which have been at elevated levels since rescuers began their search, police said on April 6.
In the interim, officials have covered 18 miles of the river with shoreline searches, underwater drones and other technology to search for the missing boater, police said.
Family members told WFLD that Luis Di Filippo was enjoying spring break with his grandsons when the boat capsized.
'Life will never be the same without him,' Lina Schultz said about her son, Francesco. 'He was the most caring 20-year-old you ever came across. He never said no. Family always came first,' WFLD reported.
Police said they believe the water levels will drop in the coming days, which could create manageable conditions for divers to search for Di Filippo.
Wisconsin Dells is about a 55-mile drive northwest from Madison.

Police activity prompts closure of lanes on I-93 in Woburn
Part of Interstate 93 in Woburn is closed Friday amid ongoing 'police activity,' officials said. MassDOT announced shortly before 11 a.m. that the southbound side of the highway was closed at Exit 30. The left lane on the northbound side of I-93 and the Exit 30 off-ramp are also closed, according to MassDOT. Motorists were urged to avoid the area due to the police activity. Gov. Kathy Hochul announced flags on all state government buildings will be flown at half-staff Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 in honor of a state highway worker who died last week. New York State Department of Transportation Highway Maintenance Supervisor Robert Bornt died May 30 after suffering catastrophic injuries related to a work zone intrusion in Pittstown, located just northeast of Albany, last week, according to Hochul. "The entire NYSDOT family is grieving over the death of Highway Supervisor Robert Bornt, who spent his entire life in the service of others, protecting the traveling public through his work at the NYS Department of Transportation and making his community a better place through his dedicated work at the Hoosick Falls Fire Department," NYSDOT commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez said in a written statement Thursday. A Hoosick Falls resident, Bornt, 54, was a member of the Hoosick Falls Fire Department for 27 years, including his most recent position of fire chief, a member of the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad for over 25 years and the CSEA regional union president, according to his obituary. "Whether responding to calls or offering his knowledge and steadfast support, (Bornt) was always ready to lend a helping hand," the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad said in a May 31 Facebook post. "His commitment, generosity and service to our community left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside him." When he wasn't on duty, Bornt spent time coaching softball, hunting, riding snowmobiles and spending time with his grandson, Bentley.
