Kym Marsh to star in new play Single White Female
The play, written by author, journalist and broadcaster Rebecca Reid, is described as a "bold and modern reimagining" of the 1992 psychological thriller.

A new stage production of Single White Female is set to tour the UK and Ireland, starring Kym Marsh.
The play, written by author, journalist and broadcaster Rebecca Reid, is described as a "bold and modern reimagining" of the 1992 psychological thriller.
Former Coronation Street star Marsh said: "I am so excited to be bringing this brilliant, brand new and thrilling play to theatres across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
"I remember being totally gripped by the movie when I first saw it in the cinema and could never have imagined back then that I'd be starring in the world premiere of its life on stage.
"Get ready to be thrilled, shocked and entertained and watch out for those stiletto heels."

Marsh, who first shot to fame in the band Hear'Say, went on to play a major role in Coronation Street from 2006 to 2019, before starring in Waterloo Road.
The new play updates the plot of the film, which was itself based on a novel called SWF Seeks Same by John Lutz.
"Full of dark humour and sharp and suspenseful storytelling, this new play updates the original story to the age of social media and all that it brings, in a gripping tale of ambition, obsession, and the desperate need for belonging in an isolated world," producers said.

The play will open at Brighton's Theatre Royal on January 9, and will then tour the UK and Ireland until June 13.
Full casting is yet to be announced. Tickets are on sale now.

It was in my house." Now Graham, with whom she shares two daughters, has clapped back. Pals of the music manager have suggested she is a "vindictive bully." A source told MailOnline: "He thinks she's a bully. "They believe it was especially 'vindictive and calculated' of Myleene to launch the bombshell broadside on what she would have known was the week of Graham's 51st birthday." PARENTING CLASH As the cheat claims swirl, Graham's past comments about his parenting with MBE winner Myleene - who scooped her accolade services to women's health - have resurfaced. He suggested he was "banging his head against a brick wall" in his attempts for access. In the piece Graham, who is based in Ibiza, wrote: "I haven't seen my kids in years. CHEAT CLAIMS Graham and Myleene met when he worked as a security guard for Myleene's pop group. They had what was described as a "private, intimate" wedding in Norwich where just 16 family and friends were invited. In the recent podcast, Myleene recently opened up on the infidelity claims. She explained of Graham and the unnamed famous face: "It was my party. "They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other. '[They said] 'It's not what you think', but it is what I think. It's the first thing they both said." Myleene admitted she struggled to see the woman after the run-in, explaining: 'I've made peace with that situation now. The Dublin-born actor was widely respected for his work in both Ireland and the UK. The Irish Cultural Centre described him as "one of Ireland's greatest actors", adding: "He was so warm hearted, full of Dublin wit and charm in abundance and he had a beautiful sparkle in his eyes."
