Hurricanes continue loading up in trenches with commitment in-state offensive lineman

The Miami Hurricanes continue to load up on the offensive line in their 2026 recruiting class with a commitment from in-state prospect Canon Pickett. Pickett, who plays at Tampa Bay Tech, is a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite ranking and ranked as the No. 43 interior offensive lineman in the class. 'I'm home!!!!!!!' Pickett posted Tuesday on his personal X account announcing his decision. Pickett, listed at 6-4 and 320 pounds, is the sixth offensive lineman commit in Miami's Class of 2026. He joins five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, four-star offensive tackle Ben Congdon, three-star offensive tackle Joel Ervin, three-star interior offensive lineman Rhys Woodrow and three-star interior offensive lineman JJ Sparks. He chose Miami over Florida and Clemson. The Hurricanes have a dozen total players in their Class of 2026, which was ranked 13th by 247Sports prior to Pickett's pledge.

Highly-touted TE Rahzario Edwards schedules trip to visit Oregon Ducks

Highly-touted TE Rahzario Edwards schedules trip to visit Oregon Ducks The Oregon Ducks hosted a long list of 5-star players over the weekend for official visits, with some of the top-ranked players in Eugene. Things aren't slowing down anytime soon, either, with another group of elite players flocking to Eugene this weekend for more official visits. Among them are guys like 5-star QB Ryder Lyons, CB Davon Benjamin, CB Elbert Hill, and OT Kelvin Obot. On Tuesday, it was also announced that 4-star TE Rahzario Edwards would be joining the mix as an official visitor as well. The 247Sports Composite rates Edwards as the No. 49 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 3 TE in the nation. He stands at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds, and is also taking official visits to the UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, and Ole Miss Rebels. The Ducks already have the No. 1 TE in the nation committed with 5-star Kendre Harrison, but they would love to add another elite playmaker to the mix. They will have a chance to get into good standing with Edwards this weekend with an impressive visit.
