Jesy Nelson's baby twins go home for the first time as she celebrates birthday

Daily Mirror20 hours ago

Jesy Nelson celebrated her latest birthday on Saturday by taking the baby twin daughters that she shares with boyfriend Zion Foster home for the first time
Jesy Nelson announced her baby twins, who she welcomed with boyfriend, Zion Foster, have arrived at her home for the first time. The 34-year-old former Little Mix star welcomed daughters Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster on 18 May.
The babies arrived two months early, being born at 31 weeks and five days, following a high-risk pregnancy complicated by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. The Mine singer had been in hospital for months after undergoing emergency surgery to save her children while they were still in the womb.

Now Jesy has revealed that Jesy and her girls are back home almost a full month since they arrived. And they were able to make it home in time for her birthday.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the singer shared a photograph showing her doting over her daughters in her home. She wrote in an accompanying caption: "My babies made it home for my birthday."
Fans were charmed by the photo, with one commenting: "They are both so beautiful! Happy birthday Jesy." While another added: "So happy you guys are all home together."
And a further fan wrote: "I knew they would make it home to be with you, precious miracle girls they did it for you.
Last month, Jesy delighted fans when she reveled her children had arrived "healthy and fighting strong" after arriving prematurely.
She also recently shared her experience with the girls in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She wrote in an online post: "Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU.

"It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies.
"Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them. Tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them, it breaks your heart into a million pieces.
"But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream." The Black Magic singer expressed her joy over the fact her children were brought back together following treatment.

She explained: "Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell."
Jesy and 25-year-old musician Zion first started dating in January 2022and have had an on-off romance over the years. Zion has been at Jesy's side throughout her pregnancy and hospital stay.
In early May the couple hinted they may have tied the knot as Zion shared a trio of black and white photos of himself with Jesy in a bed smiling and laughing together. Jesy reacted to the images to write "My husband" in the comments - sparking a flurry of comments from fans.

Like Prince Harry, my memoir estranged me from my family

But it was too late; the idea had become far bigger than me. It took in the vast sweep of my mother's stalled writing career and my burgeoning one. Yes, cynics may say it took on a commercial life, but it also took on an emotional one, too: the chance to write our relationship again, line by line. I felt – as I still do – that it might help people. As it has turned out, I don't think I was wrong. But it has also pained those close to me by exposing actors in my close family and, like Harry, I am now confronted with a wall of silence and boarded-up Instagram profiles. My uncle and my half-brother will not speak to me. I reproach them nothing; I remain as I am; I am still here. I reproach them nothing; I remain as I am; I am still here.. Two things can be true at the same time I heard someone say in an AA meeting once and I am reminded – now daily - of how hard this is to understand, of just how problematic memoir is. Often, I get the feeling, as memoirist Emily Fox-Gordon writes that 'some internal gear had failed to engage'.

Kym Marsh announces baby news after splitting up with 'soulmate' toyboy

Coronation Street star, Kym Marsh, has shared some 'thrilling' baby news with her followers after calling it quits with her 'soulmate' boyfriend, Samuel Thomas, this year Kym Marsh has got some exciting baby news after revealing her daughter Emilie, 27, is pregnant. The Hear'Say star, 49, who is set to become a grandmother for the fourth time, shared the happy news four months after she called it quits with her boyfriend, Samuel Thomas, 30, who she previously described as her 'soulmate'. Taking to Instagram, posting a snap of her grandson and granddaughter proudly holding a baby scan, sporting Big Brother and Big Sister Kym wrote: "I am so thrilled to share the news!!! Grandchild number 4… incoming!!! Congratulations to my beautiful daughter @listentoemilie, my wonderful son in law @mikeyhoz and Teddy and Polly!! Can't wait to meet you little one!" ‌ ‌ Responding to the post, one of the actress' followers replied: "Congratulations to Emilie, Michael, Polly and Teddy. So thrilled for you all." While a second added: "The best news, so happy for your family." Kym, whose son, David, also has a child, first became a grandparent when she was 42. However she admitted she didn't relish being called 'Grandma' and so changed it to Yaya on grandson Teddy's request before finding out the name was Greek for 'grandma'. Speaking to CBeebies about her family, she said: "I always knew I would be a young grandparent because of how old I was when I had my children. "I was 42 when I found out I was going to be a grandparent. It still came as a bit of a shock but I was so excited. "Both me and Emilie's dad were thrilled to bits. Then, of course, meeting Teddy was on another level." ‌ She continued: "I'm still a very busy person, but as a grandma I try to make as much time as I can. I like to think they will all grow up knowing that, even though I'm busy, I will always be there for them." Kym's baby news comes four months after she called it day with actor, Samuel, who she met while performing in 101 Dalmatians The Musical. Despite referring to the 30-year-old as her 'soulmate', Kym split with her co-star after six months. The mum-of-three, who has been married three times, met Samuel after she split up from her third husband, Scott Ratcliff. Fans thought Samuel, who is the same age as Kym's eldest child, David Cunliffe, may propose. But now it's all over, with Kym insisting she'll never walk down the aisle again. ‌ Talking to the Independent about her future plans as she got ready to star in a theatre production of Abigail's Party in April, playing Beverley, she said of the seventies - when the play was written: "You were expected to get married back then. It was almost a little girl's dream. 'But not for Kym Marsh. I've been married three times, and three times it's not gone well – so no more for me. Three strikes and I'm out.'
