Meet Swades fame Gayatri Joshi's husband, runs a Rs 77,000 crore company, his business is..., his net worth is Rs...,
If you are a Shah Rukh Khan fan, then his film Swades must have made a special place in your heart. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, and opposite him was Gayatri Joshi. SRK as Mohan and Gayatri as Gita impressed the audience to their core. Though the movie did not meet commercial expectations, the audience hailed both actors' performances. Surprisingly, after receiving critically acclaimed remarks for her performance, Gayatri chose not to be a part of the Bollywood industry anymore. Swades marked her first and last movie.
Swades was released in 2004, and in 2005, Gayatri tied the knot with business tycoon Vikas Oberoi. After getting married, Gayatri decided to quit acting and focused on her family.
While Gayatri is known to many movie lovers, her husband Vikas Oberoi remains away from the limelight, even after marrying the former actress. Let's take a look at Vikas's achievements.
Born in 1969, Vikas is the son of Ranbir Oberoi, who was the founder of Oberoi Realty Ltd. Vikas grew up watching his father handle the real estate business, and he too aimed to follow in his footsteps from a young age. After completing his education, he joined his father in the business.
Vikas pursued his higher education at Jai Hind College in Mumbai and later earned a degree through the prestigious Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
As per media reports, in the 1990s, Vikas took over his father's business, and today he is the Chairman and Managing Director of Oberoi Realty Ltd. Vikas Oberoi's Whopping Net Worth
According to a report by Forbes, Vikas's net worth is USD 5.8 billion. Media reports claim that Vikas owns a luxurious home at 360 West Worli, Mumbai, where he lives with his wife and kids. The property is reportedly worth Rs 400 crore.

‘Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar work on an 8-hour shift too,' says Kabir Khan defending Deepika Padukone amid Spirit controversy
Deepika Padukone's reported feud with Sandeep Reddy Vanga over her demand for an 8-hour workday made headlines recently. Since then, several people from the film industry have come out in support of the actor. Now, director Kabir Khan, who is also a friend of Deepika, has defended her. He also revealed that even male actors, including Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar, work on an 8-hour shift. In an interview with Movified, Kabir spoke about the need for proper working hours in the film industry, citing mental health and better efficiency. 'I work with 500 crew members who each have families and their own lives. Their well‑being matters, not just for efficiency, but for their mental health,' he said. While defending Deepika's demands, Kabir added, 'It's a fair point. Aamir Khan works on an 8‑hour shift. Akshay Kumar too. So I don't see why Deepika should be denied the same. If a filmmaker doesn't agree, they should have a valid reason. It's that simple.' According to him, work should have a structure. Kabir revealed that he himself has never shot more than 12 hours, never worked overtime, and never worked on Sundays. 'These are basic rules,' he asserted. When asked about Deepika Padukone's reported fee demand of Rs 25 crore, Kabir Khan said that remuneration should align with audience appeal and box office draw, noting that she attracts huge crowds to theatres. 'Whoever brings in the viewers, whether an actor, director, man or woman… they deserve to be paid what they're worth,' he said. On the professional front, Deepika was last seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. She has Atlee and Allu Arjun's next AA22 X A6 in her kitty. The announcement video hinted that she will play the role of a warrior princess in the film.

Aur jab apki shaadi toot ti hain aur aap divorce pe jaate ho toh woh logon ko pasand nahi hain. Woh baat main bhi jaanta hu, aur maanta hu ki shaadi ko lightly nahi le sakte. Isiliye uss cheez ko sachhai ke saath rakhna chahiye mujhe (In Hindustan we treat marriage very seriously. When one's marriage falls apart and there's a divorce, people do not like that. That I fully know, which is why we can't take it lightly. So I wish to keep it truthful.' He went on to add, 'Ki meri jo shaadi hain Reena ke saath, hum ab shaadi-shuda nahi reh sakte. Ya Kiran ke saath hum ab shaadi-shuda nahi reh sakte. Toh ye hum sab ke liye loss hi hain, humare parivar ke liye bhi ye ek cheez hain jisse hum khush nahi hain. Hum khushi-khushi ye cheez nahi kar rahe. Lekin kuch circumstances aise aaye ki laga ki humare circumstances badal gaye hain. Meri thinking ye hain ki yaa toh main duniya ko jhooth bol sakta hoon. Aur pretend kar sakta hoon ki Kiran aur main bohot khush hain saath main. Aur zindagi bhar hum shadi-shuda reh sakte hain… lekin woh jhooth hoga (That I cannot stay married with Reena or Kiran. It is a loss for us, our whole family, we are not doing this happily. There are certain circumstances that have led us to take this step. I think that either one can pretend and lie to the whole world that Kiran and I are very happy. But that will be a lie).' From his first marriage to Reena, Aamir has two children, Junaid and Ira.
