Naga Vamsi addresses gripe around Hridayam Lopala song missing from Kingdom: ‘Want to see Vijay Deverakonda kiss?'
Gowtam Tinnanuri's Vijay Deverakonda, Satyadev, Venkitesh, and Bhagyashri Borse-starrer Kingdom was released in theatres on Thursday. The film's producer, Naga Vamsi, held a press meet in Hyderabad with the cast to address some questions, including why the song Hridayam Lopala was missing from the film. (Also Read: Kingdom Part 2: Audience expresses fatigue as Vijay Deverakonda film leads to sequel, says 'stop forcing it') Bhagyashri Borse and Vijay Deverakonda in a still from the song Hridayam Lopala song in Kingdom. Naga Vamsi on Hridayam Lopala song missing from Kingdom Hridayam Lopala, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, was the first song to be released from Kingdom. The song featuring Vijay and Bhagyashri caught on like wildfire. However, it was missing from the movie, something many audience members complained about on social media. When a reporter asked the producer about it, he first asked in his trademark style, 'You watched the film, right? Tell me where Hridayam Lopala would even fit.' You tell me and I'll fit it there.' He then stated that he knew many had complained about it, jokingly adding, 'I know a lot of people felt bad, especially lovers, probably because they wanted to see Vijay Deverakonda kiss and they missed it.' Vamsi explained that the 'intensity' of the film did not allow for such a romantic track to be fit, stating, 'We tried a lot, but we couldn't fit it into the intensity of the film overall. A lot of people are suggesting we should fit it in the second half of the film, where they feel it lags. But the ending 20 minutes banger only works because the film slows down there.' About Kingdom Kingdom stars Vijay as a police constable turned spy named Suri, who is sent on a mission to Sri Lanka by the Indian government. He agrees to go only in the hope of finding his long-lost brother Siva, played by Satyadev. Bhagyashri plays Dr Madhu, while Venkitesh plays Murugan in the film. Calling Kingdom the best film technically to be released this year, Vamsi said at the press meet, 'I can proudly say that no film released in 2025 in the last seven months was this technically brilliant. We made this film to Hollywood film standards.'

'Saiyaara' Box Office collection day 14: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's romantic film earns Rs 6.5 crore on second Thursday; crosses Rs 280 crore mark
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda 's romantic film 'Saiyaara' continues its strong run at the box office, even as it begins to face serious competition from new releases. On its 14th day in cinemas, the film added another Rs 6.50 crore to its domestic collection, bringing its total to an impressive Rs 280.50 crore as per early estimated by Sacnilk. A dip in numbers, but still going strong Thursday, 31 July 2025, saw the film earn Rs 6.50 crore, which is lower than its earlier daily collections. But despite the drop, 'Saiyaara' is holding up well considering the rising competition at the box office. The Mohit Suri directed film had an overall Hindi occupancy of 11.27% on Thursday, 31 July 2025. Morning shows registered an occupancy of 9.46%, afternoon shows climbed to 14.11%, followed by 9.90% in the evening and 11.60% during night shows. Facing heat from fresh releases The drop in 'Saiyaara's' collection on Day 14 was expected with the arrival of Vijay Deverakonda 's action-packed film 'Kingdom', which opened strong with Rs 15.40 crore on its first day (as per early estimates by Sacnilk). More competition is on the way, as 'Son of Sardaar 2' starring Ajay Devgn and the much-awaited romantic drama 'Dhadak 2' have released on 1 August. These new entries may pull audience attention and screens away from 'Saiyaara'. Day-wise box office report Week 1: Day 1 (Friday): Rs 21.5 crore Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 26 crore Day 3 (Sunday): Rs 35.75 crore Day 4 (Monday): Rs 24 crore Day 5 (Tuesday): Rs 25 crore Day 6 (Wednesday): Rs 21.5 crore Day 7 (Thursday): Rs 19 crore Total for Week 1: Rs 172.75 crore Week 2: Day 8 (Friday): Rs 18 crore Day 9 (Saturday): Rs 26.5 crore Day 10 (Sunday): Rs 30 crore Day 11 (Monday): Rs 9.25 crore Day 12 (Tuesday): Rs 10 crore Day 13 (Wednesday): Rs 7 crore Day 14 (Thursday): Rs 6.5 crore Total collection till say 14: Rs 280.50 crore The film had already recorded its lowest single-day collection on Day 13 (Rs 7 crore), and Thursday's Rs 6.5 crore further continues that downtrend. Can it still cross the Rs 300 crore milestone ? Even with its recent slowdown, there's hope that 'Saiyaara' might still touch the Rs 300 crore mark in the coming days. If weekend numbers rise again, the film could reach this massive milestone, which would be an incredible achievement for a film that began with modest expectations.
