Many interesting stories in the history of Hindi cinema continue to surprise cine lovers. Today, we bring you one such fascinating tale involving Bollywood's first superstar, Rajesh Khanna, and the dream girl, Hema Malini. This story dates back to a time when Rajesh Khanna fought with his co-star over Hema. Let's explore what led to the clash.
The on-screen pair of Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini was one of the most successful pairs of their time. They have together been in movies like Naseeb, Kudrat, Prem Nagar, Sitapur Ki Geeta, Andaz, Mehbooba, Vijay to name a few. One such film was Babu, which was released in 1985. There is a fight sequence from the movie, where actor Roopesh Kumar played the role of a villain Jaggu Dada, who used to tease Hema Malini (Kammo).
Seeing this, Rajesh Khanna, who was present at the spot in the role of rickshaw driver Babu, fought with Roopesh Kumar and taught him a lesson. However, this was just a matter of a movie scene, and in reality, Khnna did not fight with anyone.
It is known that Babu, which was released in theatres 40 years ago, was one of the best movies of Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini.
Babu was a remake of the 1965 Malayalam film Odayil Ninnu, a film adaptation of Malayalam writer P. Kesavadev's acclaimed novel of the same title.

Braving injuries, Shine Tom Chacko arrives to bid final goodbye to father who died in accident; breaks down in tears before his mortal remains

Actor Shine Tom Chacko's father CP Chacko (73), who died in a road accident on Friday, was laid to rest on Monday (June 9). Both Shine and his 68-year-old mother Mariya, who sustained injuries in the mishap, arrived at their home in Mundur, Thrissur district, directly from the hospital to attend the funeral. As they approached Chacko's body, both Shine and Mariya broke down in tears, casting an even deeper pall of gloom over the gathering. Shine couldn't hold back his emotions as he gave a final kiss to his father, who had stood by him through every crisis. In videos that have surfaced online, he is seen weeping while hugging his brother, Jo John. Shine sustained minor fractures below his left shoulder and on his spine. Doctors are scheduled to perform surgery on him following the funeral. Mariya, who suffered a serious hip injury in the accident, was brought to their Mundur home on a stretcher. She was informed of Chacko's demise only on Monday morning. Shine's sisters, Sumi and Riya, also arrived from New Zealand to attend their father's last rites. After the rituals at home, the funeral was held at the Mundur Parikarmala Matha Church cemetery. Mariya, too, is reportedly scheduled to undergo surgery following the funeral. CP Chacko lost his life in a car accident in Dharmapuri near Salem, Tamil Nadu, while travelling with his family. They were en route to Bengaluru for Shine Tom Chacko's treatment when a lorry coming from the opposite direction collided with their car. CP Chacko died on the spot, while Shine, Mariya, Jo and their driver Aneesh were rushed to a nearby hospital.
