James Argent thanks close pal for being 'by my side' after new details emerge about his model ex's injuries since he pushed her down steps
James Argent has thanked his friend and colleague Albie Davies for being 'by my side' after receiving a suspended jail sentence for pushing his ex Nicoline Arthursson down some steps in Spain.
The TOWIE star, 37, was arrested earlier this month following the row with the Swedish beauty queen, with a two-year restraining order meaning he's banned from contacting her.
James returned to the UK last week in the wake of his arrest to perform at a charity event but now he is back in Mallorca, Spain for more shows.
The media personality took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday and shared a photo of himself with fellow singer and musician Albie who he regularly performs with.
Alongside the snap, James promoted their latest gig: 'Lucky to have @albiedavies by my side the next 2 days @olivias_la_cala tonight'.

James' ex-girlfriend Nicoline, 32, a former Miss Sweden, was left with cuts and bruises to her neck, arms, hand and leg, The Sun reported.
The injuries sustained in her fall were listed in a new court filing.
Nicoline was left with bruising to the neck and right forearm and multiple cuts to her right forearm, hand and leg.
Prosecutors were reportedly pushing to charge Argent with wounding, which carries a jail sentence of up to nine months.
However, the ex-reality star eventually agreed to the lesser offence of mistreatment as part of a plea deal.
Argent was handed a six month suspended sentence and a restraining order that prevents him from contacting Nicoline for a two year period.
The court report says: 'During the argument, and with the intention of harming her physical integrity, he grabbed hold of her tightly by her arm and pushed her causing her to fall down the stairs.
'The injured woman suffered several bruises to her neck, a bruise to her right forearm, several abrasions to her right arm, and abrasions to her right hand and on her right leg.
'The injuries she suffered healed in seven days on skin and soft tissue.'
The attack took place at the couple's beachfront home in the early hours of May 5, reportedly following a dispute about Argent's friendship with ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.
Argent was reportedly seen flinging clothes belonging to Nicoline from the balcony of their home before aggressively escorting her to the front door.
She was then allegedly pushed down some steps in front of the couple's house before falling on the concrete patio.
Nicole received treatment from medics at a nearby hospital, while Argent was arrested shortly after midnight.
The suspended sentence means Argent could still face a jail sentence if he reoffends - and he also has to attend a 10-week-long domestic violence course.
The pioneering programme, known as Regener@r, will require him to listen to the testimony of domestic violence survivors and is designed to help men create a new, less toxic form of masculinity.
Argent was branded 'shameless' after sharing clips laughing and singing on stage with his band at The Wickers Charity Ball in London in the wake of his suspended jail sentence.
Having returned to the UK last week, Argent flexed his musical side as he returned to Instagram to post snaps of his performance at the fundraising event.
Argent, who over the years has struggled with weight issues and cocaine addiction, has previously suffered two near-fatal drug overdoses as he battled against his demons.
But the Essex star has been alcohol and drug free since 2022, prioritising rehabilitation, clean living and maintaining a healthy weight after having gastric band surgery.
He has spoken in the past about struggling with the pitfalls of fame, including loneliness, shame amid his eating disorder, and being thrust into the public light after starring on reality series TOWIE.
Fans questioned whether James's behaviour was sparked by a return to his wild drug and alcohol abusing days, which saw the reality favourite spend several stints in rehab.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, James confirmed he is still sober and the police incident was not triggered by a relapse.
James said: 'I haven't relapsed. I am still three years and four months clean and sober. I am devastated by what's happened.'

He has spoken in the past about struggling with the pitfalls of fame, including loneliness, shame amid his eating disorder, and being thrust into the public light after starring on reality series TOWIE.
During a 2020 interview with OK Magazine James discussed how his drug addiction started, saying: 'I was going to nightclubs around the age of 18…
'I would hear of some of my friends experimenting with drugs, but it wasn't until I first started TOWIE that I was getting booked up for nightclub appearances up and down the country most nights of the week, I was drinking, and I started doing drugs more and more.
'My friends and family recognised that I was having a problem and an addiction about a year and a half into TOWIE.'
He also shared how his romantic relationships have suffered in the past as a result of his addiction, including with ex-girlfriend and former TOWIE co-star Lydia Bright.
James said: 'When Lydia broke up with me it was a shock and the pain I was going through with the heartbreak, I started using drugs heavily to escape the feelings and the pain as well as with the insecurities with how I looked on television.'
The singer had been in a relationship with model Nicoline for nine months before the violent incident occurred over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
An eyewitness told MailOnline that James was heard 'yelling' before forcing the former Miss Sweden out of her apartment door in Spain, which caused her to fall down some steps.
James pleaded guilty to charges of domestic violence and has been handed a two year restraining order meaning he will be jailed if he contacts Nicoline, who onlookers claimed looked 'severely hurt' following the attack.
The witness, who did not want to be named, told of how they heard a loud commotion from the Costa del Sol property, which James shared with Nicoline, and has now recalled watching the 'brutal' row unfold.
They said: 'We were out walking our dogs when we suddenly heard an aggressive man yelling. We saw him throwing objects from the terrace of a nearby house. We were frightened by his shouts.
'Then, the door of the house opened, and the man threw a women out and she fell down the steps, causing her to scream. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. She was severely hurt and cried out for help.'
It's understood that James 'continued to throw things' as Nicoline 'lay injured' on the steps.
The eyewitness continued: 'The situation escalated quickly, and we were scared and unsure of what to do. Another woman arrived to assist the injured woman, who was lying helplessly at the foot of the steps. At that moment, the man slammed the door and fled.
'Within moments, concerned bystanders had gathered to help the woman, and the police arrived swiftly.'
The witness said Nicoline 'appeared to be physically and emotionally devastated.'
'We were in utter shock,' they continued, adding that they were later told Nicoline's mother had arrived and taken her to hospital.
'This woman deserves justice; she was left utterly devastated. We have never seen anyone so emotionally hurt as she was.
'What we witnessed was a brutal act of abuse... there were many witnesses and bystanders who helped Nicoline during the incident.'
After tumbling down two steps, Artursson's screams alerted neighbours to the incident, who then informed the police. She is understood to have needed hospital treatment.
Argent was arrested shortly after the incident in La Cala de Mijas and was kept in police cells for several hours before being dragged in front of a court in nearby Fuengirola.
During the hearing he admitted a domestic violence charge, with an insider telling The Sun the couple's nine-month relationship is now over. He was handed a two-year restraining order which prohibits him from being within 250 metres of Artursson.
Artursson was in court to hear Argent admit the charge where he was handed a six-month suspended sentence. Argent was also told to a complete a 'resocialisation course in the field of gender violence'.
Artursson has remained in Spain, while Argent is believed to have flown back to Essex.
The model was spotted for the first time since the arrest on Wednesday, wearing gym clothing as she typed away on her phone.
She was joined by her mother Pernille Artursson, who has been supporting her since the incident with her ex Argent.
Artursson covered her face with a pair of large sunglasses during their outing.
Speaking about how Argent is now, a friend told the Sun he is 'extremely sorry', saying: 'He said he had a row with Nicoline and that he tried to end the argument.
'James said he pushed Nicoline and that she fell. He is remorseful about what happened but is insisting he never meant any harm.'

Mel Gibson, 69, chows down on pasta in Rome amid work on sequel to one of his iconic films
Mel Gibson was glimpsed having a laugh while chowing down on pasta in Rome - as he develops the sequel to one of his most iconic movies. The 69-year-old actor and director has apparently traveled to the capital of Italy in order to work on his upcoming film Resurrection Of The Christ. His picture will serve as the follow-up to his self-funded 2004 sleeper hit The Passion Of The Christ, directed by Gibson and starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus. The first movie began with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and ended with him emerging from the tomb, so the next one will presumably cover the 40 days the Bible says he remained on earth after his return from the dead. A source said Gibson is pre-production on the new film, via TMZ, and he was spotted indulging in the local cuisine in a restaurant on his downtime. When he noticed that he was being observed, he mischievously goofed off a bit, pulling extravagant faces and grinning broadly. The Braveheart star cut a casual figure during his latest outing, opting for a black V-neck t-shirt and a matching set of trousers. Jazzing up the ensemble with a necklace, the Apocalypto director slung a fashionable set of gleaming sunglasses from his shirt. The sighting comes just weeks after Gibson enjoyed an onstage reunion with Danny Glover, his co-star in another one of his legendary pictures, Lethal Weapon. The co-stars were onstage at a fan expo in Philadelphia, during which they fielded questions about the hugely successful Lethal Weapon franchise and its previously announced and long delayed fifth instalment, which will be directed by Gibson. Glover, 78 - whose Detective Roger Murtaugh famously claimed he was 'too old for this s**t' in all four Lethal Weapon instalments - was back in the spotlight some three years after his last screen appearance in 2022 black comedy American Dreamer. Joining the veteran star, Gibson, 69 - Murtagh's unpredictable and highly volatile partner Martin Riggs - showed off an enormous, greying beard as he took to his seat at the Pennsylvania Convention Center during Saturday's expo. Gibson previously confirmed that long-time co-star Danny will make an appearance in the latest film, reprising his role as LAPD Sergeant Murtaugh. The Australian star also told how he asked for Glover's blessing to direct the movie following the death of director Richard Donner - who took charge of the first four films. A source said Gibson is pre-production on the new film, via TMZ The Braveheart star cut a casual figure during his latest outing The co-stars were onstage at a fan expo in Philadelphia, during which they fielded questions about the hugely successful Lethal Weapon franchise Reiterating his intention to direct the feature in 2022, Gibson told Entertainment Tonight: 'Yeah, I am directing that. I'm really looking forward to it.' The star went on to add that his place behind the camera was bittersweet following the death of Donner in 2021. He added: 'I wish I wasn't directing it. I wish Richard Donner was still here to do it but left us untimely, and he actually asked me, he said "Hey kid, if I don't make it, you'll take the reins, huh?" I told him to shut up. 'I think it's an honor for me to be able to carry the flag for him'. And after getting Richard's blessing, Gibson told how he then turned to Glover to ask his thoughts on him directing, also confirming that his former co-star had agreed to reprise his iconic role. Gibson added: 'I called Danny [Glover] up, of course, and said "Hey, dude, is it okay with you if I direct this?", to which Glover replied "Yeah, let's go". He also insisted on having complete faith in Glover, adding: 'I know Danny's going to pull it off real well, too. He's kind of like the show pony in this one'. Gibson made the big announcement about the new film in 2021, where he began his address by paying tribute to the filmmaker who had previously spearheaded the action-comedy franchise. Gibson featured in the Lethal Weapon movies as the unpredictable and highly volatile partner of the Donald Glover character Gibson also recalled that the filmmaker had given him his blessing to continue the series in the future 'The man who directed all the Lethal films, Richard Donner, he was a big guy,' he expressed. Gibson also recalled that the filmmaker had given him his blessing to continue the series in the future. He remarked that Donner 'was developing the screenplay and he got pretty far along with it. And he said to me one day, "Listen kid, if I kick the bucket you will do it." And I said: "Shut up."' Gibson then noted that the filmmaker made a point of telling various individuals that the actor was more than capable of keeping the franchise going after his death. 'But he did indeed pass away. But he did ask me to do it and at the time I didn't say anything. He said it to his wife and to the studio and the producer. So I will be directing the fifth one.' It's understood that plans to shoot the new film are now underway after years of delays, with original screenwriter Shane Black also onboard. The film franchise also spawned a TV series, which ran for three seasons for 2021 with Clayne Crawford as Riggs and Damon Wayans as Murtaugh.

K.O. (2025) Ending Explained – Does Leo survive the gang?
K.O. Plot Summary The premise of K.O. clings to all the usual tropes you'd expect from a flick like this, jumping straight into the action. Here, we follow aspiring MMA fighter Bastien, who finds himself in the ring with his bitter rival, Enzo. The pair go toe-to-toe in a relentless and pretty brutal sequence that immediately sets the tone and mood for the rest of the movie. Bastien's fight ends in tragedy when he counters a triangle hold into a full-on slam to the mat. Enzo's head crunches against the canvas, and unfortunately, he passes away as a result. Guilt-stricken, Bastien hangs up his gloves and disappears into exile. Fast-forward two years, and our reclusive hero is called back into action by Enzo's widowed wife, Emma. Her son, Leo, has gone missing after getting mixed up in the drug trade, and it seems he may be the target of some particularly nasty gangsters. With a bullseye on his back, Leo is in big trouble—and Bastien feels a moral obligation to do right by Emma. Who are the rival gang? Bastien heads off to find out the truth about Leo's whereabouts, where he winds up indirectly working with Captain Alaoui. The rival gang are called the Manchours. They're vicious and a lot of people are scared of them. They're fronted by a man named Abdul, a relentless gangster determined to grow his empire in Marseille – no matter the cost. Alaoui loses her badge thanks to getting too aggressive with a couple of gang members outside. She teams up with Bastien to get info on Leo's whereabouts, and they soon realize that he has valuable intel that could take down the Manchours. This explains why the gang are so interested in the kid – and why they want him dead. What is driving Alaoui and Bastien to fight so hard? Alaoui lives alone and doesn't have a partner. She's consumed by her grief though, still torn up over the passing of her brother. She has a history with the Manchours, stemming from her childhood. She grew up in the same neighbourhood as the gang and her brother began working with kids on the street. Unfortunately, when the Manchours started dealing drugs and getting the kids involved, her brother pissed them off badly. In fact, one night they tied him to a chair and burned him alive. Even worse, they sent the video to Alaoui and disappeared, until a year ago when they returned. They're smart and always one step ahead, building a criminal enterprise in Marseille – which Alaoui is determined to stop. What happens at the police station? After reuniting with Leo and a tense chase sequence at the apartment complex, the group make it back to the police station where Bastien explains why he's doing all of this. His father passed away when he was a kid and since then he was angry at the world and lashed out. Bastien chose fighting as an outlet and the irony is, this accident has caused Leo's father, Enzo, to die. He recognizes that Leo is going down a dark path and although Bastien didn't mean to kill the fighter, he feels responsible for making sure he steers the kid in the right direction. Bastien was lucky, having surrounded himself with good people and managing to turn a corner, away from a potential life of misery and crime. Who is the mole? Leo reveals in his police interview that the Manchours organized a big meeting with their contacts. Leo was new and shouldn't have been there but he showed up anyway. Here, the Manchour gang met with Andalou and his gang – the same guy we saw earlier tortured for the whereabouts of the drugs earlier in the movie. This was all a trap, organized by Andalou's contact. Leo saw Abdel Manchour kill a man right in front of him but unfortunately, was spotted spying on them and he decided to run. Leo got freaked when he saw the cops because that informant working with the gang happens to be 'The Cop'. It's here where Alaoui realizes there's mole in the midst… and it happens to be Vasseur. He immediately stabs Benoit in the neck before he's shot down. This explains why Leo never went to the police – he didn't trust them. Who survives the final fight? Outside, shots are fired at Sebastopol and the surrounding areas, sending officers out to check. Unfortunately, this leaves the station severely lacking in staff, prompting the Manchour gang to come in all guns blazing and shoot the place up. Alaoui does her best to fight back but Abdul is leading the charge. Through the fighting, Alaoui and Abdul wind up duking it out while Bastien handles Abdul's right-hand man, Driss. Bastien just about comes out on top while Alaoui kills Abdul after stabbing him in the eye and driving this through his skull. With police heading back, the gang breathe a sigh of relief after coming out in one piece. How does K.O. end? Leo is finally free and no longer hunted by the (presumably defunct) Manchour gang, while Emma is reunited with her son. It seems he'll now have a way of handling and channelling his anger, courtesy of Bastien's guidance too. As for Bastien, he intends to head out and carve a new name for himself, deciding that it's time to find something new to fight, looking out at the sunset ready for another day. Read More: K.O.
