Jake Paul Calls Piers Morgan a ‘Fat Ass' for Questioning His Boxing Talent, Storms Out of Interview: ‘You Think That Your Opinion Matters?'
Jake Paul stormed out of an interview with Piers Morgan after the pair got into a verbal argument about the social media influencer's talent in the ring, which led to the YouTuber-turned-boxer dragging Morgan over his weight.
'You versus going to the gym — you're still fat ass,' Paul said the host on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' on Thursday after the two became heated over the legitimacy of Paul's boxing career.
But before all that went down, Paul was flexing himself as the anticipated winner of his match against Julio César Chávez Jr., who recently stopped by Morgan's show.
'He's a 5'8 little peon. If we were in the streets, I would grab that little ginger and smack him upside the head and make him forget who the f—k Julio César Chávez Jr. was,' Paul started off. 'People don't realize, I'm a real killer. I really f—king do this s–t. YouTube this, Disney that, this s—t is not a joke. I'm knocking out the best of the best, beating all of these people time and time again. And it's about time, that you old heads and all these f—king boxers who think they know about the sport, put some respect on my name.'
But when Piers decided to give Paul his own reality check, mentioning that he doesn't think Paul would have stood a chance against Mike Tyson in his prime, things got pretty tense between the two.
'You don't actually know that! You can't sit there and say that,' Paul said. 'I think anything is possible. That's why self-belief is the most powerful thing in the world. You don't think I can be a Mike Tyson? I don't think you go to the gym!'
Morgan responded: 'I think you're a great YouTuber, a great influencer. I admire what you try to do boxing, but I do think when you actually come up against a proper, serious boxer, and I suspect that Julio César Chávez Jr., may be that person, it could all come crashing down.'
In between those jabs, Morgan also said the only 'proper' boxer Paul fought was Tommy Fury and Paul took the L in that matchup.
'The only proper boxer you fought was Tommy Fury, and he beat you … peak Tyson, you wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds,' Morgan stated.
Paul clapped back: 'I think the problem here Piers, is that you think that your opinion matters?'
When Morgan questioned his decision to appear on the show despite claims that his opinion is useless, Paul fired back that he is only using the moment to obtain Morgan's audience.
'Oh, I'm just taking your audience to sell pay-per-views. I don't give a f—k about your show, dumb ass. This is a f—king business enterprise. Buy the pay-per-view on Saturday, June 28, me versus Julio César Chávez Jr. Thank you, tune in everybody!'
In Morgan's last remarks, he said farewell to the social media influencer and cheered on Chávez.
'Cheers Jake, really enjoyed that, and good luck to Julio – knock him out for all of us will you?' Morgan said.
Well, no matter what team you're on, Paul and Chávez go head-to-head on Saturday, June 28.

Jake Paul is clearly favored to beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Here's why
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who is set to fight Jake Paul in a 10-round cruiserweight bout Saturday, June 28, hit boxing's DNA lottery. He is the son of arguably the greatest Mexican boxer ever, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. He also is a former WBC world middleweight champion who has fought the likes of Canelo Alvarez and world champions such as Sergio Martinez and Daniel Jacobs. So why will Paul be the decisive betting favorite against Chavez when the men square off at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., in a pay-per-view fight carried by DAZN? Paul is listed as low as a -750 favorite, meaning bettors must wager $750 to win $100. Chavez is listed as low as +450, meaning bettors would win $450 on a wager of $100. 'Chavez Jr. is definitely the best boxer Paul has faced,'' said Shane Volk, risk manager at Circa Sportsbook in Las Vegas. Jay Kornegay, executive vice president of race and sportsbook operations at the Westgate SuperBook, said, 'Chavez has an opportunity to cash in not only this fight, but a possible rematch.'' But Chavez's boxing DNA and old world championship go only so far when it comes to setting the lines, according to the experts. (It also bears noting that while Chavez stepped inside the ring with Alvarez, Martinez and Jacobs, he also lost all three of those fights.) Jake Paul, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. share common opponent Both Chavez and Paul have stepped inside the boxing ring with Anderson Silva, the legendary MMA fighter. Chavez faced him in 2021, when Silva had only two pro boxing matches. Chavez came into the bout 2.4 pounds over the maximum weight of 182 pounds, forfeited $100,000 of his purse to Silva as a result and then lost the eight-round fight by split decision. Silva, then 46, out-landed Chavez in power punches, 60-41, and in overall punches, 99-53. In 2022, Paul got his shot against Silva, then 2-2 as a pro boxer. Paul knocked him down in the eighth round, the final round of their fight, and won the bout by unanimous decision. Paul out-landed Silva in total punches, 83-79, and Silva out-landed Paul in power punches, 66-51. "Jake was better than me today," Silva said. "I have nothing bad to say about my opponent." There was no such praise for Chavez. Recent activity favors Jake Paul Chavez won the WBC world middleweight championship in 2011 with a victory over Sebastian Zbik by majority decision. At the time, Paul was 14 years old. Now Paul is 28. Chavez is 39, and has not displayed his championship form in more than a decade. Also worth noting: his inability to make weight at 154 pounds and 160 pounds have corresponded with a dip. He is 8-5 boxing above 160 pounds and will be fighting Paul as a cruiserweight, with a maximum weight of 200 pounds. Chavez (54-6-1, 34 KOs) has fought 49 more pro bouts than has Paul (11-1, 7 KOs). But since December 2021, Chavez has fought only once — a lackluster victory in a six-round fight over Uriah Hall, who had boxed professionally only once before, by unanimous decision. He has lost three of his six last fights, which included quitting after the fifth round in his bout against Jacobs. By contrast, Paul has fought seven times since December 2021, and is coming off a victory over Mike Tyson by unanimous decision on Nov. 15, 2024. Jake Paul, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. troubles outside the ring Paul, who embarked on his pro boxing career in January 2020, said the sport saved him. Stunts like setting a fire in the backyard of a West Hollywood home in which he lived cost him a lucrative acting job with the Disney Channel in 2017. Chavez has had issues outside the ring, too. In January 2024, he was arrested in Los Angeles on charges of felony gun possession charges after police said they found him in possession of two AR-style ghost rifles, according to ESPN and other published reports. He pleaded not guilty to the gun possession charges and agreed to enter residential treatment program, according to published reports. Court records indicate Chavez was granted pretrial diversion. He's faced other issues. In 2009, after a victory over Troy Rowland, Chavez tested positive for a banned diuretic and was suspended for seven months by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). In 2012, after his fight with Martinez, he tested positive for cannabis and was suspended for nine months by the NSAC. In 2019, before his fight with Jacobs, he refused to take a drug test and was suspended again by the NSAC. "Obviously his father had a historic, Hall of Fame career, and following those footsteps is very difficult,'' said Kornegay, who suggested Chavez's focus has come under question. Paul, by contrast, sounds laser focused on winning a world title no matter how farfetched his critics might think that is. Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.: What betting line experts say Alex Rella of BetMGM said, '… Chavez was a champion over a dozen years ago and he lost to Anderson Silva in 2021 who then lost to Jake Paul in 2022. Fight math may not be perfect, but it can help be indicative of the times and why Jake Paul is a -600 favorite (at BetMGM.)'' Shane Volk of Circa Sports said, "There are multiple reasons that Jake Paul is the favorite. When you look at familiar opponents Jake Paul beat Anderson Silva and Chavez Jr. lost to him. When Chavez Jr. was younger and active he would tire going into the later rounds. I think with Chavez Jr. getting older he'll struggle in the later rounds.'' Westgate SuperBook's Kornegay said he wonders if Chavez sees his fight as a 'paycheck'' and added, 'the boxing experts in Las Vegas said that he had some potential but got distracted with the out-of-the-ring thing.''

Liv Morgan injury update: WWE star will 'miss several months' after shoulder injury
WWE star Liv Morgan will 'miss several months of action' after she suffered a shoulder injury. The announcement was made by commentator Corey Graves during Monday Night Raw on June 23. It was expected Morgan would miss significant time as a result of her injury, but the severity of it was unknown. Morgan is also one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez. Advertisement The plans on the titles haven't been announced, as Rodriguez could either continue the reign alongside someone else or the titles could be vacated. There is a chance Rodriguez and Morgan could hold onto the championships until Morgan returns. Liv Morgan during the Women's Royal Rumble during the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 at Lucas Oil Stadium. What happened to Liv Morgan? Morgan suffered the injury in a match with Kairi Sane during Monday Night Raw on June 16. In the early stages of the contest, Sane dropped to her knees to perform a single-leg takedown. Morgan went face first on the mat and her right shoulder also hit the ground. Morgan immediately yelled in pain and rolled out of the ring as the referee prevented Sane from performing any other move. Advertisement Medical personnel came to check on Morgan outside of the ring, and the match was eventually called off as Morgan was escorted out of the arena. Sane was declared winner by forfeit. Liv Morgan return: When could she come back? While the severity of Morgan's injury is unknown, Morgan won't be appearing in WWE in the foreseeable future. Morgan was scheduled to attend Fanatics Fest in New York City on June 20-22, but was pulled from the event after her injury. A shoulder dislocation can sideline athletes for months. The timeline of return depends on the severity of the injury and whether surgery is necessary. The Mayo Clinic says the shoulder would improve "over a few weeks" if surgery is not needed, but if surgery is performed, full recovery can take five to six months. Advertisement Shoulder injuries have been an issue for the two-time Women's World Champion. In 2023, Morgan missed six months of action after she dislocated her shoulder in a match with Rhea Ripley, which turned out to be a labrum tear and she required surgery. Should Morgan miss around five months, she would return around the same time as Survivor Series on Nov. 29, or could possibly wait to return at Royal Rumble in January 2026, similar to how she did in 2024. Morgan was in her fourth reign as WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez, a record for the title. The duo won the titles at Raw After WrestleMania on April 21 and they lost them to Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch one day earlier at WrestleMania 41. The biggest stories, every morning.
