Tom Kerridge is back on our screen in his new ITV series Tom Kerridge Cooks Spain
Tom Kerridge, the celebrity chef, is back on telly this Thursday evening (July 24) with a brand new ITV series that takes him on a culinary journey through Spain.

The 51-year-old embarks on a road trip in northern Spain to meet local food producers who share his passion for fresh ingredients and cooking.

Throughout the programme, Tom delves into Spanish cuisine and culture, cooking up a feast using local produce and offering tips on how to recreate the dishes at home.

He'll discover the link between Santona and anchovies, and meet the locals, including fishermen and women who keep the town's traditions alive. Away from the limelight, Tom has made significant changes to his health in recent years due to fears about his mortality.
The Michelin-starred chef, known for tantalising the nation with delicious dishes on Saturday Kitchen and Great British Menu, has now revealed the secret behind his impressive weight loss, reports Devon Live.

Alongside giving up alcohol and incorporating exercise into his daily routine, Tom experienced a remarkable transformation.
He has shared that his diet included eating vegetables, tinned beans and eggs, as well as cutting out sugar to curb his snacking habits.
"Over three years, I lost eleven stone and devised my own low-carb diet regime built around ingredients that are known to trigger the release of dopamine, the 'happy hormone' in your brain," Tom previously shared on his website.

He continued: "If you're struggling with your weight and need to shift unhealthy pounds, this approach makes it easy, and is guaranteed to make you feel happier in the process."
The life-altering transformation has prompted the celebrity chef to encourage families to dedicate more time to preparing nutritious home-cooked meals.

Tom has pointed to his own remarkable 11-stone weight loss as motivation for others looking to drop the pounds, achieving his results through a straightforward dietary adjustment.
The Gloucester-born chef, who previously admitted to beginning drinking sessions with a pint of Negroni cocktail before consuming 15 pints on an ordinary evening, chose to give up alcohol at 40 or risk not making it to 50.

He told The Mirror in 2020: "I stopped drinking all by myself. I knew what I wanted to do and then I got on with it. It was all about mental strength.
"I have an addictive personality. People ask me whether I'm an alcoholic, but I think it could have been anything, it's just that alcohol was the thing I found. Maybe I am an alcoholic, I don't know."
Tom added: "Some days are really, really hard and some days are easy. Most of the time it's not relevant in my life. I channel all that old drinking energy into work now."

Speaking recently to Lisa Snowdon and Andy Goldstein on the We're Not Getting Any Younger podcast, Tom looked back on his choice to quit drinking more than a decade ago due to health concerns.
Offering a candid glimpse into his personal life, the 51 year old explained that his terror of perishing before reaching 50 prompted him to make the dramatic choice to give up booze entirely.
He explained: "I'm absolutely loving the way that I'm living but I can't (carry on). It is going to end and it will all end really really badly, so I just stopped."
Alongside his television fame, Tom has also built a thriving empire with his string of eateries.

Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez 'confirm' relationship with romantic kiss in the street

It was a very sunny, happy day for films tars Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez on Saturday - as they affectionately kissed and gazed in each other's eyes on the streets of California Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez have made their emerging romance very public - popping outside for a smooch on the street in the middle of the day. The pair looked very loved up and even appeared to copy each other's style as they sported dark tops and grey joggers. ‌ Rumours of a romance emerged earlier in the week after 44-year-old Jessica and 31-year-old Danny enjoyed a dinner out together. And prior to this, the pair reportedly enjoyed a trip to Cancún together. ‌ On Saturday, Jessica and Danny were spotted in the California sunshine locking lips and smiling into each other's eyes. Both wore baseball caps and they could barely keep their hands off each other. ‌ The romantic exchange came soon after Danny received a floral arrangement - giving the impression he may have impressed his older girlfriend with a gift. Jessica beamed at the younger man - with the relationship believed to be her first since the announcement of her plan to divorce earlier this year. And it appears that swapping smooches with the Top Gun: Maverick star is going some way to repair Jessica's broken heart. There are expectations that the couple could be building their way towards a serious romance. ‌ A source told the Daily Mail - who have published snaps of the pair kissing: "Jessica's romance with Danny has taken a surprising turn. What started out as a summer fling feels like it's getting more serious, although she still wants to take things slow. "But at the end of the day Jessica has never been one to play the field. She's excited to see where this romance is headed." The Mirror has contacted representatives of both Jessica and Danny for comment. Fans were shocked at the beginning of the year when Jessica confirmed she had split from husband Cash Warren, 46, after 21 years of marriage. The couple share three children: Honor, 17, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. ‌ They revealed they were heading for divorce the following month as papers were served - and the case is believed to be ongoing. Jessica told fans she and Cash had separated in an Instagram post shared in Janaury. She wrote at the time: "I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years - both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. ‌ "I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals." She added: "We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time." The following month, PEOPLE magazine reported that the Fantastic Four star had filed for divorce in Los Angeles County court citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of the collapse of the marriage - and 27 December 2024 as the day they separated. The sad news came less than a year after Jessica celebrated the fact she and Cash had survived 20 years of marriage. Marking their anniversary in May 2024, she wrote in an online post: "I'm proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family." She added at the time: "Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you."

Man, 20, dies after falling ill in Ibiza club as heartbroken sisters pay tribute

Stan-Lee Connor, 20, from Birkenhead, died while on holiday in Ibiza with his friends. His family have paid tribute to him as they seek answers to his sudden death The heartbroken family of a young man who tragically died after falling ill during a holiday in Ibiza have shared an emotional tribute. ‌ Stan-Lee Connor, 20, from Birkenhead had jetted off to the Spanish island with a mate on Tuesday, July 1, for a six-night break but became unwell on his second evening. Stan, as loved ones knew him, was enjoying a night out at Amnesia in San Antonio when he appeared to take ill, his sister Ellie McSherry said. ‌ His friend took him back to their accommodation at Aparthotel Vibra Monterrey. But when his friend awoke the next morning, he discovered Stan had passed away. The 20 year old's death is now being investigated by police. ‌ A spokesperson for Merseyside Police stated: "We were made aware on Thursday 3 July of the sudden death of a 20-year-old Wirral man in Ibiza. We shared information provided to us with the Spanish authorities, who are conducting the investigation, and supported the man's family in their communications with them." ‌ In a heartfelt tribute shared with the Liverpool Echo by sisters Ellie and Sally, they said: "We lost our beautiful younger brother and son, Stan-Lee Connor, a kind-hearted soul whose heart overflowed with love, and whose life held so much promise. His sudden and heartbreaking passing in Ibiza at just 20 years old has left an immeasurable void in our lives. "Stan wasn't just our brother, he was the light in our family. He brought warmth, laughter, and kindness wherever he went, and his presence made everything brighter. "Stan was a proud and passionate supporter of Everton Football Club, loyal through every win and every heartbreak. He also found deep comfort in music, especially the timeless sounds of Pink Floyd. Their lyrics became a lifeline, especially after the heartbreaking loss of our dad last year. Music gave Stan strength, and in those melodies, he began to find his way back to peace." ‌ Ellie, 28, revealed how Stan had recently secured his own flat and landed a fresh position at a factory. She explained: "He just got a flat for the first time, he was doing his driving lessons and had just bought his first car. He had a new job and everything was looking up. He was just starting his life properly but he didn't get a chance." She continued: "He was buzzing about having his own place and getting on his own two feet. It's been a horrible few years." The heartbroken family's tribute went on: "We want to be clear, we are not looking to point fingers. We are seeking something deeper: awareness, compassion, and change. Our Stan's passing is a devastating reminder of just how vital it is to care, to act when someone is vulnerable and to never look away. The smallest gesture, a simplest act of kindness, can mean the difference between life and loss. "We have shared everything we know with Merseyside Police and continue to pursue answers through the appropriate channels. But more than anything, we want the world to remember Stan for who he truly was: a big-hearted soul, full of warmth, laughter, and love, the best brother, son and friend anyone could hope for. He had so much life ahead of him and so much love to give. "In his memory, we ask others to open their eyes and hearts. To check in on those around them. To never ignore someone in pain. Let Stan's story be a powerful call to action: that care is not optional, it's necessary. "Stan-Lee Connor deserved so much more. He had dreams to follow, memories to make, and a future full of happiness. We will carry his legacy forward not only through our grief, but through love, and through a promise to keep his spirit alive by raising awareness of the importance of compassion. Stan Lee Connor deserved better. We will never stop fighting for the truth, for justice and the dignity he always deserved."
