Matt and Gino Face Off Over Jasmine! '90 Day: The Last Resort' Season 2, Tell-All Part 5 Recap
The explosive 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 tell-all has finally concluded after part 5 aired on April 28, 2025. The episode was jam-packed with drama, including a long-awaited face-off between Jasmine Pineda's boyfriend, Matthew Branistareanu, and her estranged husband, Gino Palazzolo. In Touch shares everything that went down during part 5.
The episode opened with Matt joining the tell-all via video chat and admitting to the cast that he was 'pretty scared' when Jasmine told him she was pregnant with their first child.
'Since I was young, I'm running from getting married or having children, but I'm getting to the age, you know, where it's time for me to grow up, maybe have kids. But I was definitely scared when she told me,' he said.
Jasmine added, 'It took us by surprise because we were taking all the precautions. I was like, we couldn't believe it was happening.'
Host Shaun Robinson asked Matt what he wanted to say to Gino. He responded, 'I'm not the type of person that's going to sit here and argue with Gino about what happened there, what happened here. They asked me to come into some open relationship. I agreed. I don't know. I was just friends with her. I don't have to go after anybody's woman or anything.'
Matt also said that anyone who treats their wife 'like a d--khead' is not 'going to get anywhere with her' and will end up 'arguing all the time,' which made Gino angry. He told Matt to 'shut up,' adding, 'You don't know anything.'
'Overall, after all this was done, I regret agreeing to open marriage,' Matt said. 'But I felt like I was trapped in a corner. Like I had to make a decision, take action because nothing was working for us.'
Matt again said that Gino treated Jasmine poorly, which led Gino to begin arguing with the actor.
While Matt told Shaun that he loved Jasmine, she admitted that she wasn't sure if she loved him back.
'I'm figuring that out, Shaun. I don't know if I'm having emotional attachment to him. I don't know if that is love. I don't even know what love is anymore,' Jasmine said. 'I don't even know what it is for me to be in love. I don't have an answer for that. I do care about him. I feel safe with him, I feel protected, I feel well taken care and I like that feeling. But I don't know if I love him.'
Jasmine also said that she will 'never be able to hate' Gino. 'I know that a lot of people have questioned the reasons why I came to this country, like if I used Gino, but I think that deep in his heart, he can say whatever he wants to people, but he truly knows how much I love him. And I know that I wasn't the perfect wife, I made so many mistakes,' she added.
Gino said he hasn't been intimate with anyone else since the open marriage began, and Jasmine was asked if she regretted going into an open marriage. She said that she regretted 'everything.'
'I think that I should have been braver and I should have just, when I knew that I wasn't being happy, and it was not what I expected when I moved to America, I think that I should have had the courage just to pack my bags and go back to Panama,' the former teacher said.
Therapist Heidi Clapham suggested during part 5 that she believed Florian Sukaj and Stacey Silva had a tendency to 'fall into a parent-child role a lot.'
"We definitely see that this that it's not an equal balance there. Florian needs to step up and he hasn't at this point and Stacy has to allow him to step up,' she added.
Florian took issue with this, as he believed that he treated Stacey more like his child, rather than the other way around. Stacey told Florian to show respect before she stormed off the stage. Florian left the stage soon after.
'You know, I'm very disappointed about Florian lashing out. I just feel like he needs to learn to tone it down and find a way to voice it in a professional manner. It's unacceptable and I'm not taking this anymore,' Stacey said.
After reuniting with Florian, she told her husband, "Maybe you should go to Albania for a little bit."
"I might take a note out of Sophie's book and just do my own thing for a while. Is Florian going to be OK with that? I don't know, but I have to do what's right for me,' she added.
Later, Florian said, "Me and Stacey have the best relationship, and that is clear. We're living here the most happy.' Meanwhile, Stacey explained that she couldn't say at that time if she wanted to give up on the relationship yet or not.
During part 5, Rob Warne reflected on his relationship with Sophie Sierra and revealed that they were heading toward a divorce.
"I wanted really badly to be able to get through this tell-all without Sophie and I at each other's throats. But it's very evident that Sophie will never be a good partner for me because she cannot and will not forget any of the past, and she will always have whatever in her pocket to try to say that,' he said. 'It's just wild to make me look like I'm invalid. Whenever I decide to speak up about some of the actual s--t that I went through while we were together, Sophie starts saying outlandish, wild s--t, it's like her go-to immediately.'
He added, "I'll be filing for divorce sooner than later, especially after today."

The King playing a carrot is inspiration for a new pastime
Little gets me excited as I have reached 'an' age where nothing seems new. That perception was shattered recently however by, of all people, our sausage-fingered monarch in chief. As another week of cutting ribbons and feigning interest at the latest royal appointment drew to a close, he looked genuinely excited at meeting the London Vegetable Orchestra. Beaming with joy, he picked up a carrot recorder and played, badly, a tune, as those around him fawned as if it were the second coming of Elvis. I was enthralled as to how, as a fan of the eccentric, this genius idea for a 'pastime' had passed me by and I am now planning a visit to my local Sainsbury's produce aisle to get in on the act. The orchestra proudly, and quite rightly, describes itself as the UK's 'only' ensemble dedicated to 'homegrown' entertainment. Sadly, as one with no musical talent whatsoever, membership is not open to the general public with all members being past or present professional musicians with links to the Royal Academy of Music. A decade on from their inception, they number courgettes, peppers, butternut squashes and potatoes among their alma mater and they have appeared regularly on the box on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Room 101, and 'Let's do Lunch' with Gino and Mel, before Gino was put on toast. I can't wait to see them live and I am rooting (sorry) for them as they continue to be fully booked as punters enjoy Elvis Parsley's 'Blue Swede Shoes' and 'Billie Aubergine'. The orchestra numbers a 'chef' among their ensemble as they continue to take bookings for festivals, concerts and private parties. Lord knows they can even afford a Who-style instrument trash at the end of each gig, before hollowing out another root vegetable in lieu of a bongo drum. Now excuse me if, by this point, I am raving a little too much about what is, in effect, a cultural throwaway, but to me, it is a new version of the cheese rolling in Gloucestershire or La Tomatina in Spain, and adds yet another eccentric string to our bow. I am left hoping that, if aliens ever do land on planet earth, they happen upon a vegetable orchestra gig and turn straight back to whence they came. Sadly, my research however has led to me being a tad let down as the original vegetable orchestra was formed in that hotbed of musical excellence, Austria, some years ago. The songs they play may well have some Austrian-based punnery but it's hard to tell as I don't speak any other tongue besides English and I still haven't mastered that if truth beknown. But as we bid farewell for another seven days my dear readership, I am left in the kitchen formulating a band courtesy of a potato peeler, a sharp paring knife and an apple corer, as I aim to go big and send a demo in to Simon 'Trowel' who may be able to water my musical seed. My plan is to introduce a marrow trumpet, a pumpkin snare drum and put a complex series of holes into a yam to construct a yamonica (sorry) in which to while away the hours until the next eccentric madness darkens my door… Brett Ellis is a teacher

New photos show Joyce Mitchell living a bleak, reclusive life in upstate New York nearly 10 years to the day after she helped her alleged lovers — convicted killers Richard Matt and David Sweat — escape from Clinton maximum-security prison in Dannemora, NY. Neighbors in sleepy Dickinson told The Post they rarely see the disgraced 61-year-old or her head-scratchingly devoted husband, Lyle — whose names remain tainted across the North Country a decade after the jailbreak and 23-day manhunt captivated the nation and spawned a Hollywood miniseries. She pleaded guilty in September 2015 to promoting prison contraband and criminal facilitation, and was sentenced to two-and-a-half to seven years. Lyle made $20,292 in 2024, while Joyce made only $8,775, according to public state pension records. 'I've seen her a few times going to parole and I've seen her once at the store since she's been out, but I haven't seen Lyle once,' he said. Mindy Kaling sat down for a Paley Media Council Series conversation on Thursday, touching on her two-decade career in Hollywood and what she wants to do next. The star, who got her start as a writer and supporting actress on The Office, said her original goal was 'if I could just be a staff writer on even a terrible show, even if I could just be in the WGA and have health insurance and live in Los Angeles, I would be happy for the rest of my life.' As she became more successful, though, she wanted to produce and be No. 1 on the call sheet, admitting her idea of success 'keeps changing and so I'm never happy, and that's the writer's disease.' During the conversation at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, Kaling also touched on the decision to keep her production company Kaling International smaller — 'I'm obviously very envious and have so much admiration for Shonda [Rhimes] and J.J. [Abrams] with Bad Robot and Shondaland, where they have these big companies and this big infrastructure that can make all these things, but I think that works better in drama' — and how she chooses which entertainment companies to partner with, admitting, 'I think it's pretty simple, which is, who can pay the most?' 'Here's my thing. I have worked on many different platforms and it's not just about the money, but more often than not, the money represents real enthusiasm. Sometimes it doesn't; sometimes I've done stuff for less money because the people seem so excited, like on the Zoom after the pitch,' Kaling continued. 'The problem is that people are switching their jobs quickly that for me, I don't think there's been an instance where the person I sold a show, to that team has stayed intact for two years. Executives are moving constantly up and so to me, I never get too married to a creative team.' After having recently wrapped up Never Have I Ever and The Sex Lives of College Girls, and in the middle of working on the second season of Running Point, Kaling also weighed in on returning to acting after six years away. I think there is a part of me that feels a little superstitious. I'm like, these seem to have gone well and I'm not in them so maybe I'll wait.' But, she added, 'I miss it, and I would like to write or co-create a show for me to act in soon.' She doubled down later in the chat, noting that on The Mindy Project when she was the lead and also the creator, 'it is unbelievably fun and it's so efficient. I would love to do that again…that's the thing that maybe in the next couple years, when I launch a couple other things that are earlier in the pipeline, that would be something that would be fun to do again.'
