Inter Milan's interest in Ederson is clear. The Brazilian is reportedly the Nerazzurri's top target to replace Hakan Calhanoglu in the event that the 31-year-old leaves this summer.
However, it is far from clear that Inter will be able to afford a move for Ederson.
Reportedly, Atalanta want a fee of at least €60 million for the 25-year-old. That would require Inter to make significant sales in order to finance a deal.

According to Il Messaggero, therefore, Inter are also looking at other targets in midfield.
One such potential target would be Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup.

The Dane has enjoyed a couple of outstanding seasons in Serie A. This after helping the Grifone to win promotion back to the top flight in the 2022-23 campaign.
According to Il Messaggero, Inter see Frendrup as a potential reinforcement in midfield. The 24-year-old would certainly cost less than Atalanta's Ederson would.

Report – Galatasaray Target Denies Wanting To Leave Inter Milan This Summer
Hakan Calhanoglu reportedly denies wanting to leave Inter Milan this summer despite the constant links to Galatasaray. This according to Italian outlet SportMediaset, via FCInterNews. They report that sources close to the player deny that he is pushing for a transfer, whilst it's also denied that Calhanoglu has spoken with club captain Lautaro Martinez. Advertisement Transfer links between Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and Galatasaray have blown up into an out-and-out soap opera. For the past several weeks, reports have filtered out of Turkey that the Istanbul giants are determined to sign Calhanoglu. Fuelling these rumours have been reports that Calhanoglu himself is pushing for the move. There have even been reports that he has asked Inter to lower their asking price to make it happen. (Photo by) Amid these constant transfer rumours, last week Inter captain Lautaro Martinez all but called out Calhanoglu. Advertisement The Argentine made comments to the media after Inter's exit from the Club World Cup against Fluminense. He declared that 'whoever wants to leave, leave.' And naturally, this was not received well by Calhanoglu. The 31-year-old responded with a message of his own on social media, hitting out at the 'divisive' comments by Martinez. Today, reports emerged that Galatasaray have made their first offer to Inter for Calhanoglu. The Turkish champions have bid €17 million according to SportMediaset. Inter rejected that offer out of hand, as it is far below their asking price. The Nerazzurri are still holding out for €40 million, reports Mediaset. That reflects the fact that, in spite of this media circus, Calhanoglu is still a key player for them. Advertisement According to Mediaset, though, Calhanoglu has denied that he's pushing for the transfer to happen. Meanwhile, Mediaset further report that Calhanoglu's camp deny that the Turkish international has messaged with Martinez to mend fences after the captain's outburst. On the other hand, the broadcaster report, Calhanoglu has spoken to some other Inter teammates about the matter. These include Marcus Thuram, Yann Sommer, Yann Bisseck, and Denzel Dumfries.

(Photo by) It looks like virtually a foregone conclusion that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter this summer, however. Advertisement And there have been a few clubs to show an interest in the 23-year-old. Widespread reports indicate that Fiorentina are the team who have moved the fastest. Florence-based newspaper La Nazione confirm that Fiorentina are working to sign Esposito. However, the Tuscan club must make a sale in attack before they can wrap up a deal for the 23-year-old. And in that respect, the likeliest candidate would be former River Plate striker Lucas Beltran.
