Mammootty's brother Ebrahimkutty recalled how people used to question him on the Malayalam cinema icon's health everywhere he went.
For quite some time, there were reports that Malayalam cinema icon Mammootty was ill due to an unspecified health issue. There were even rumours claiming that he was diagnosed with cancer, which were eventually denied by his team. And after keeping his silence for the longest, the 73-year-old actor shared through his personal secretary that he battled a health crisis and emerged victorious.
Following Mammootty's social media post, his brother Ebrahimkutty, who is also an actor, shared a note through his Facebook account, recalling how the 'whole world" prayed for his brother's recovery. He began his post, revealing that Mammootty is doing well. 'I am now revelling in a sense of relief one feels after crossing a vast sea of dark clouds and turmoil. All the suppressed anxieties have subsided," he said, adding, 'Now, it is time for a comeback", hinting at his brother's return to shoot.
Through his post, he also shared how people would ask about Mammootty's health wherever he went. 'During my travels for serial shoots, at railway stations, bus stands, on the streets, and at shooting locations, wherever I went, people would come and ask lovingly, Mammukka is okay, right?" he added. And once they were told that their beloved actor was doing fine, Ebrahimkutty mentioned, 'The expression on their faces upon hearing my yes showed the depth of their love for him."
Ebrahimkutty Expresses Gratitude To Mammootty's Fans For Their Love
While his brother's illness was not that serious, it still had Ebrahimkutty worried, and once he saw that everyone was praying for Mammootty, he was truly moved and relieved. He said, 'The whole world is praying for one person?! Yes. All the world I saw had been in prayer, wishing for Ichakka's health to be restored. Though the situation wasn't extremely grave, a lump remained in my heart. I prayed in every breath… along with crores and crores of people. Now that all the crises have been overcome, it is a relief like having swum across a sea."
Ebrahimkutty ended his note by expressing his gratitude to everyone who 'carried unconditional love" for the Malayalam superstar, prayed for him, wished for his return and God.
When Mammootty Thanked His Fans For Their Prayers
On August 19, Mammootty's personal secretary, George, shared a post confirming that the actor was doing well. Posting a picture of Mammootty, he wrote, 'With eyes brimming with joy, I stand before you with folded hands. To those who prayed for me, stood by me, and reassured me that nothing would go wrong-my dearest ones, thank you with endless love." Many near and dear ones of the actor expressed their relief at his recovery.

Is Tom Brady the shorter one now? ‘Jack is way more beastly than you,' says Rob Gronkowski

(Images via Tom Brady's IG) Recently, Tom Brady shared an Instagram carousel from The Hills in East Quogue, N.Y., featuring a golf day with his 17-year-old son, John 'Jack' Edward Thomas Moynahan. The cover photo showed Jack looking taller than Brady, who is listed at 6-foot-4. Former teammates and friends jumped into the comments, turning a routine post into a light roast. 'Jack is way more beastly than you': big reactions to Brady's post Brady captioned the gallery, 'Everything still pretty much the same 'round here ⛳️ @nobull [sic].' On cue, the replies rolled in on Instagram. 'Jack is way more beastly than you,' Rob Gronkowski wrote. Mike Evans added, 'Is Jack standing on something? Besides business lol,' while Michael Rubin joked, 'Except I heard Jack kicked your a– yesterday!!' Brady shares Jack with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan . He also has son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. Tom Brady balances broadcasting career with family life The golf outing came days before Brady's return to the booth alongside play-by-play partner Kevin Burkhardt. The pair will call the Washington Commanders' Week 1 game against the New York Giants in Landover, Md., before traveling to Kansas City for a Super Bowl rematch the following week. Brady reflected on his first year in broadcasting earlier this year, writing on Instagram, 'It certainly was a new challenge to undertake but I couldn't have asked for a better team to be a part of and learn from!' Jack, meanwhile, has his own ambitions. Reports suggest he wants to pursue basketball, adding another spotlight to being the son of one of the most famous athletes in the world. Brady has admitted the pressure is real, saying at the Fortune Global Forum in New York last year, 'To be a boy, it sucks to be Tom Brady's son in so many ways, and I try to empathize with them.' Watch: Brock Lesnar's daughter Mya shares adorable bikini video flaunting her confidence

Mya Lesnar (Image Source: Getty) The 23-year-old was in the news again, but not about her prowess in the shot put at Colorado State University. The daughter of WWE and UFC superstar Brock Lesnar was back in the news for boldly living her life exactly as she is, and we are here for it. The post was a scene straight out of Instagram with her standing in a red bikini with a caption proclaiming the following: '200+ lbs and every ounce is powerful, confident, and beautiful. Ladies, the bikini was made for your body, so rock it!!' The post arrives just after a challenging 2025 season that tested her both physically and mentally, marking a deliberate statement of self-love and resilience. Mya Lesnar doubles down on body positivity and self-love Mya shows some major love for herself and completely obliterates the arbitrary notion of what a desk, and therefore, a bikini body should be, writing: '200+ lbs and every ounce is powerful, confident and beautiful.' The caption's call to "rock it," is also an invitation to all women to wear confidence, regardless of shape and size. Following a grueling year of competition where she missed the World Championships team, the post is a pointed reminder of her identity beyond athletics.
