It is Mother's Day Sunday, and the golf world's attention is in Philadelphia. The PGA Tour is in the city of Brotherly Love for the Truist Championship (previously Wells Fargo).
While golf fans are likely spending time with their mother's and taking in some golf, the Tiger Woods Foundation took some time to honor Tiger Woods' late mother, Kultida Woods.

"This Mother's Day we honor Tida Woods, whose quiet strength and unwavering belief shaped Tiger's journey. Her legacy lives on in every student we empower," Tiger's foundation wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Woods' mother sadly passed away earlier this year on February 4th. It was the week prior to the Genesis Invitational, the tournament that Tiger hosts typically in the Pacific Palisades.
Kultida's tragic passing prompted Tiger to withdraw from the event. That postponed what was to be his 2025 PGA Tour season debut.

Sadly, Woods then announced that he ruptured his Achilles while training at home. His entire golf season is on ice now.
But Sunday and this post is about Kultida.
She was such an important factor in Tiger's life and upbringing. Woods often spoke of her any chance he could.
"I knew that if I went out there and put myself out on the limb and I failed, hey, I had love to come home to," Woods said back in 2007 to Golf Digest.
"Not everyone has that. And I know that with her, I always will. She has always, always been there for me."
Tiger's father had a large impact on his skill level on the course. But it was Kultida who he often credited with his demeanor and mental strength.
For those of you who still have your mother's in your life, cherish her. But not just on Mother's Day. Everyday.

Team Cherry The video also confirmed that there would be over 200 enemies to face off against as Hornet, the game's protagonist who returns from her role as an ally in the first game, as well as over 40 boss fights. It also confirmed new abilities for Hornet not seen in the first game, including a new glide. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at launch. Players on PC and Xbox consoles can also play it at no extra cost if they're Xbox Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscribers. Hollow Knight: Silksong was originally announced as a full game in 2019, after having been initially planned to be DLC for the original Hollow Knight. A demo for the game was subsequently playable at a number of events throughout 2019, including at E3 and PAX Australia, but details since then have been sparse, to say the least. The game was featured in an Xbox presentation in June 2022, with the Xbox Twitter account at the time saying every game featured in the presentation – including Silksong – would be released within 12 months, but it subsequently missed that window. Developers working on the game said that the team had planned on launching the game in early 2023, but that development was still continuing.

Paula Deen reveals she nearly died ‘of a broken heart' in rare TV appearance after scandal

Paula Deen is ready to share her story. The former Food Network star, 78, appeared on 'Fox and Friends' Wednesday to discuss some of the lowest points in her life, including her agoraphobia battle and her 2013 racism scandal that tarnished her career, ahead of her documentary that comes out next month. 'Let me tell you something, Steve. I thought I was going to die of a broken heart,' she told host Steve Doocy at her Savannah, Georgia home. 'And I said I couldn't let myself fall back into that terrible [agoraphobia].' Advertisement 7 Paula Deen on 'Fox and Friends' on August 20. FOX News 7 Steve Doocy interviewing Paula Deen for Fox. I had a 16-year-old brother to try to finish raising and I had two babies under 3.' Bernese Puppy Is Chewing His Bed, Then Something Goes Hilariously Wrong

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A Bernese mountain dog named Franklin has left internet users in stitches after a viral video caught him getting his head stuck while misbehaving. The TikTok clip, shared on Monday under the username @yournewfriendfranklin, shows the 6-month-old puppy looking at his mom with a guilty face after getting his head stuck inside a piece of furniture while chewing it off. "POV [point of view]: you have a berner puppy," reads layover text in the clip. The caption says: "I can't with him." The poster, 23-year-old Ella Rose Parrott, from Kentucky, told Newsweek that Franklin loves chewing on anything he can, and, in this video, he got himself stuck chewing on his dog bed. "After I filmed the video, he got out of that situation by himself," Parrott said. "I couldn't stop laughing, but, of course, I was ready to help if he needed me. Also, he was totally fine afterward—just went right back to chewing like nothing happened and he was not in distress." Dogs chew for many reasons, and it is rarely out of spite. Puppies, like babies, explore the world with their mouths, and chewing helps them learn and cope with teething. Adult dogs may chew due to boredom, anxiety, lack of training, or simply to get attention. Often, canines are drawn to personal items like shoes because they smell like their owners. However, dogs live in the moment and won't connect your delayed anger with their earlier behavior, says Yolinda Animal Hospital. To prevent destructive chewing, ensure your pet gets enough exercise suited to their breed and energy level. Proper training and close supervision, especially with puppies, are essential. Redirect chewing with appropriate toys and reward good behavior immediately. Dog-proof your home by keeping valuables out of reach. Avoid chasing your pup when they grab items; instead, call them over and trade for a treat. Teaching commands like "drop it" is also key to reinforcing good habits and avoiding frustration. One user, Saikox, commented: "My brain is not braining …" Wilde Saints said: "It took my brain a minute to comprehend what happened here." Devil on the wall added: "Not a single thought to be seen … only vibes being felt." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
