Kylie Jenner Jumps for Joy With Former Best Friend Jordyn Woods After New York Knicks Win

Yahoo15-05-2025

One-time besties Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods reunited to celebrate the New York Knicks win against the Celtics.
ESPN shared footage of Jenner and Woods, both 27, jumping for joy courtside after the Knicks defeated the Celtics 121-113 in Game 4 on Monday, May 12. Jenner was at the game with her boyfriend, Knicks superfan Timothée Chalamet, while Woods was cheering for her ' boyfriend, Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns.
The sweet moment between Jenner and Woods comes after they were previously inseparable. Things took a turn in 2019 when Woods and Khloé Kardashian's then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, kissed.
Kardashian, 40, who shares True, 7, and Tatum, 2, with Thompson, 34, called it quits in the wake of the scandal, reconnecting before ending things for good in 2021.

Woods later reflected on how the drama impacted her friendship with Jenner.
"It's easy to beat yourself up over things you could've done differently, but you can't hold on to what you could've or should've done. You just have to accept what actually happened and then you can let it go," she said during a September 2020 interview on the Now With Natalie YouTube series. "I think that letting go of shame is learning how to accept what's happened."
Meanwhile, Kardashian addressed her decision to forgive everyone involved in the situation.
'I personally don't talk to her, but I think she's doing really well in her personal life,' she said during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June 2021. 'I think that's a huge misconception [that I only forgave Tristan]. That's also the thing where some narratives aren't as fun to pass around and spread like wildfire. I've actually tweeted, I've actually done Insta Stories. I don't have any grudge against Jordyn. I think people make mistakes, people live, and they learn and I forgive both parties. How could I forgive Tristan and not Jordyn? That sounds asinine in my opinion.'
Before Jenner and Woods rekindled their friendship, Thompson sat down with Jenner to discuss how the scandal affected her.
"It really bothers me because we had such a dope relationship. But everyone got affected differently. You were affected the most by the situation," he told Jenner in a November 2023 episode of The Kardashians. "You lost Jordyn who was a big part of your life. I know how much she meant to your life and your connection. You were two peas in a pod so the fact that I put myself into the situation wasn't right and wasn't smart."
He continued: 'I want to say I am sorry. I feel bad about it. ... The fact that I came with my poor decisions and being a f***ing idiot who was young and stupid, I wanted to say I am sorry again for that."
From Monica Rose to Larsa Pippen: The Kardashian-Jenner Family's Biggest Feuds With Friends
Jenner accepted the apology while acknowledging how the situation changed her for the better.
"I think I was so codependent with Jordyn that I could never imagine my life without her. We would have probably still been living together. She needed to grow without me and I needed to grow without her," she added. "Jordyn and I are cool. We still talk and catch up. We are good."
Elsewhere in the episode, Thompson addressed the significant age difference between him and Woods at the time of their encounter. (He was 28 while the model was 21.)
"If someone told me, do you think Kylie misses Jordyn? I'd probably say yes. And I feel bad about that. Especially me being the older one. I should have handled it differently. I should have handled it more as the older person. As the wiser [person]," he added. "Sometimes for men they don't realize until they are 40 or 50 when the train is already gone. Hopefully, my train hasn't left."

Carlos Ponce Joins MariVi the Master Navigator as the Voice of Papá in Breakout Animated Series Now Streaming on Nuestra.TV and YouTube

[Media: Access more images and video HERE] LOS ANGELES, June 05, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Emmy-winning actor, Latin Grammy nominated artist, and international screen star Carlos Ponce has joined the animated children's series MariVi the Master Navigator, as the voice of Papá, a hard-working and loving immigrant father. The series, now streaming for free on and YouTube (@WeAreMariVi), recently surpassing 100,000+ subscribers, brings to life the emotional nuance of growing up between two cultures – a Latino and an American one. Rooted in the acclaimed work of Maria (Lopez) Twena, MariVi the Master Navigator tells the powerful story of a first-generation Hispanic family learning to call America home. Through the eyes of MariVi — a resourceful bilingual/bicultural daughter — the series shines a light on the quiet heroism of Latino children of immigrants who serve as interpreters and cultural ambassadors, shaping the future of their families and communities. 'Navigating two cultures can be incredibly challenging, particularly for the Hispanic community, where collectivism and self-reliance often stand in contrast,' said Twena. 'In MariVi the Master Navigator, each character brings their own strength as they adapt to new surroundings, a new language, and an unfamiliar world. It was essential that the voice of Papá, as the head of the household, felt authentic. We're incredibly grateful to have found that voice in Carlos.' 'Papá isn't just a supporting character, he's the foundation,' said Carlos Ponce. 'He reminds me of the fathers I grew up around: hardworking, proud, sometimes stubborn, but full of heart. I saw parts of my own life in him. It's a character that feels deeply real, and I'm honored to give him a voice.' The casting of Ponce, whose work spans blockbuster films (Julie & the Phantoms, Murder Mystery 2, Couples Retreat), hit TV series (Santa Diabla, 7th Heaven), animated hits (Rio, Ice Age: Collision Course), the Spanish-language narration of all Harry Potter Audible books, and chart-topping Latin Albums, adds star power and legitimacy to a project that champions representation and cultural pride. Ponce's voice performance is a timely tribute to immigrant fathers whose quiet sacrifices often go unseen. With Father's Day approaching, his role as Papá offers a heartfelt celebration of their love, strength, and everyday heroism. More information on and @wearemarivi on social media.
