New Kinder bar spotted in stores as shoppers share excitement online NEW CHOC Shoppers rush to major supermarket as brand new Kinder bar hits shelves CHOCOLATE lovers are buzzing with excitement after a brand new Kinder bar hit the shelves — and it's already causing quite the stir online. Credit: Alamy A Facebook user shared their find on the popular NewFoodsUK page, posting: 'New Kinder Krispy Bars spotted at the Meal Deal section in Tesco!!' The new snack features a crispy wafer layered with smooth milky and cocoa-hazelnut creams, wrapped in milk chocolate and topped with biscuit crumbs. It's quickly becoming a fan favourite, thanks to its indulgent flavour and affordable price. Tesco Clubcard holders can also include it as part of a meal deal, making it even more appealing. The post sparked a wave of excitement, with fans flooding the comments section to share their thoughts. One shopper said: 'Next time I'm getting those sandwiches.' Another added: 'These are amazingly good.' A third chimed in: 'These are really nice.' Others tagged their friends and family, eager to spread the word and make sure they didn't miss out. Some compared the new bar to a Kinder Egg in bar form, while others simply declared, 'Yes please.' Many are now on the hunt at their local branches, hoping to snap one up before they sell out. Save with secret codes This launch is just the latest in a series of new Kinder products delighting fans in UK supermarkets. Shoppers can also find a Kinder Hamper available at Home Bargains, packed with favourites including Kinder Bueno, Kinder Bueno White, Kinder Surprise and Happy Hippo Biscuits. Meanwhile, Kinder Crunchy Cookies have also appeared in stores. These cookies are filled with a generous mix of milk and white chocolate chips, offering yet another way for fans to get their Kinder fix. The growing Kinder range shows the brand's continued popularity and willingness to bring fresh ideas to supermarket shelves. How to save money on chocolate We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar. Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs... Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars. Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere. Websites like let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal. Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced. They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged. Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar. So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.

Sir Rod told how he has seen many friends pass away shortly after giving up work and he doesn't want the same thing to happen to him. He has dates lined up all over the world this year including the Legends slot at Glastonbury next month. He said: "I enjoy going out on tour now more than I've ever done at this ripe old age of 80. "I'm doing seven concerts in Vegas and then I am everywhere around the world. "I'm playing Athens, Germany, three nights in Buenos Aires, two nights in Rio, it goes on and on and on. "It keeps me fit. You have got to be fit to do it. "I would probably die if I didn't do it. I have seen so many guys that have to give up their career and retire and they have got nothing to wake up in the morning for. "I don't know what they do with themselves. They must get up and go 'What do I do today? Down the betting shop? Have a drink?' I don't know." Speaking on the That Peter Crouch podcast, Sir Rod also told how he stays silent for up to 10 hours before gigs to protect his voice. Rod Stewart parties with Rolling Stones legend as he celebrates 80th birthday He said he indulges in his passion for model railroading while refusing to speak to anybody. He said: "I warm up for about an hour and I warm down for about three quarters of an hour after every show. "I also have to not talk too much. If my voice feels a little like it's not there I close down and go silent for 10 hours during the day. "That's where the model railroading comes in handy because I take it on the road with me. "If I have got to build a factory I have cases, paints and tools and the hotel will give me a special room to be a workshop." Sir Rod has confirmed he will take to the stage with his former Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood at Glastonbury. Earlier this week the singer, who is married to former model Penny Lancaster, said he was "absolutely flabbergasted" to be presented with a prestigious lifetime achievement award by his children. The father-of-eight was introduced to the stage at the American Music Awards by five of his grown-up children.

Ed Gale, actor who played Chucky in 'Child's Play,' dies at 61

Ed Gale, the stunt actor who physically played the killer doll Chucky in the first two "Child's Play" movies and "Bride of Chucky," has died, his family announced. He was 61. "Ed Gale has taken his final bow and is now headlining in the afterlife," Kayse Gale, his niece, said in a Facebook post Tuesday. Gale was hospitalized a few days before his death and was having difficulty breathing, Cindy Osbrink, his representative, told NBC News on Wednesday. He was being moved into hospice care when he died Tuesday morning in Los Angeles. One of Gale's closest friends traveled from the East Coast to meet with him one more time before his death. "I think he was waiting for the friend," Osbrink said. Born in Plainwell, Michigan, in 1963, Gale went to California when he was 20 "with $41 and a dream, and he never looked back," his niece wrote. Gale made his acting debut as one of multiple actors to physically play Howard T. Duck in the 1986 sci-fi comedy "Howard the Duck," followed by another role in sci-fi spoof "Spaceballs" in 1987. In 1988, Gale first physically portrayed Chuck in "Child's Play," then took the stunt role again for the 1990 sequel, "Child's Play 2." He continued with the franchise in the 1998 film "Bride of Chucky." Actor Brad Dourif has voiced the character since its debut. Gale appeared in more than 130 movies, television shows and commercials at the time of his death, according to his niece's post. He was credited with roles in "Chopper Chicks in Zombietown" (1989), "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle" (2000) and most recently credited for "Pandemonic" in 2020. "With this wide ranging body of work, he leaves behind a legacy full of questionable lighting and amazing one-liners," Gale's niece wrote.
