Jeremy Renner Sends Clear Message About Season 2 of 'Hawkeye'
Renner, who made his first appearance as Hawkeye in 2011, revealed in May that he was offered "half the money" for Season 2 of the Disney+ series. He turned down that offer and questioned if it had to do with his near-fatal accident in 2023.
"This is not Marvel, mind you. This is just Disney, not even really Disney. It's just the penny pinchers, the accountants," Renner said. "I told them to go fly a kite… I mean, just at the insult offer. So we didn't see eye to eye on it."
Despite turning down that offer, Renner hasn't turned his back on Marvel Studios. During a recent interview with Empire, he said that he's sure Season 2 of "Hawkeye" will end up happening.
"I'm always happy to be in that world, man. I love all those guys, I love the character," Renner told Empire. "I'm sure we'll end up doing Season 2, and do other things. And I'm happy to do it. My body's getting ready for something like that. I don't know if anybody wants to see me in tights, but my body will look good in the tights."
Renner added that he has spent a lot of time focusing on his health ever since the snowplow incident in Lake Tahoe.
"Having health and wellness be such a central part of my life, that's what's gotten me back. And even as I age, I just feel stronger than I've been. I have some issues, and tendon issues and certain limitations of flexibility and mobility, but I spent a lot of time on getting better and stronger, and I wouldn't if I didn't get crushed."
With that said, Marvel fans should get to see Renner firing arrows once again at some point in the next few years.

Magic: The Gathering Unveils Spider-Man Cards — GeekTyrant
Over the weekend, at San Diego Comic-Con, Magic: The Gathering showed off a bunch of cards from the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man set. The set, titled Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man , will release globally on September 26 and is sure to bring a lot of joy to players everywhere. Looking at the new cards and art with my limited knowledge of Magic (I just played and won my first ever Commander game over the weekend), I think the art for the five basic lands is really cool, I like the classic comic art cards for collection purposes (but hate them for actual play due to readability), think it's absolute madness the number of variant arts for the same card (Amazing Spider-Man has four artworks, Ultimate Spider-Man has three artworks, etc.) instead of just using those artworks for different cards, and just think this sounds like fun for some players and collectors. Which of the revealed cards are you most hyped for? Anthony Anderson Tells 17-Year-Old Lindsay Lohan That ‘Men Like Them Young' in Resurfaced Interview; Actor Now Says It Was ‘Clearly Intended as Comedy'
Anthony Anderson has responded to social media backlash over a resurfaced interview he did with Lindsay Lohan in 2003 that many viewers have found deeply uncomfortable. The viral clip is from when Anderson guest hosted 'The Sharon Osbourne Show' nearly 22 years ago. He was 33 years old at the time and Lohan was 17. Anderson was talking to Lohan about how she recently moved in with fellow Disney star and friend Raven-Symoné. 'Both of you are beautiful women. Both of you are young and have your individual styles,' Anderson tells Lohan before asking: 'What gentlemen will be at the new pad with you and Raven-Symoné?' Lindsay Lohan is sharing her frustrations about how growing up in the public eye pigeonholed her from playing more sophisticated roles. Looking ahead, Lohan said she wants to be a part of a wider range of projects. 'I miss films that are stories, like 'All About Eve' or 'Breakfast at Tiffany's,'' she said. 'There are not many major movies I want to go and see that are like that — there's a gap and I'm craving to do work like that.' The actress is set to star in the new Hulu thriller, 'Count My Lies,' which she also executive produces. Based on the novel of the same name, the series is about a conniving nanny who uncovers the secrets of a family she works with. The production marks Lohan's first starring role in a TV series.
