So much fear with that to start off with.' She laughed as she added, ' Mujhe bhoot se nahi dar lagta. I am not scared of ghosts. I am not scared of dark. It's crazy, It's true. I am actually not scared of ghosts, darkness, heights, nothing. But podcasts.' During the conversation, Dhanashree was also asked about her perspective on 'love'. She said that just like anyone else on the planet, she also wants 'love'. "I think we all want love in life. Like, who doesn't want to be loved? Yeah. We all do," Dhanashree said on the Humans of Bombay podcast when asked "What do you think about love, having seen the ups, the downs?" "Somewhere, we all hope, we have that faith, and sometimes love is something that drives you also. Yeah, you know, self-love is necessary, because of course, self-love is number one. You know, love yourself first, then find love," she added. Dhanashree, a dancer and actress by profession, said that her parents also want the same thing for her. But, she is leaving it all open to fate, suggesting it will happen if it's meant to be. "Of course, I agree to all of that, but if there is something good written for me ahead in my life, why not? Yeah, why not? In fact, parents also want the same thing, friends also want the same thing, and I myself want that it should be good. Like, you know, who doesn't want love? Yeah, we are all hungry for love today. That is what is lacking, I feel. We all want it, of course, and it's the most beautiful feeling. It is, it is, it is very Bollywood. Yeah, it is all that ringing, it is all that, you know, flowers falling on you and all of that. Who doesn't want that feeling? We all do. Yeah. And we all must go through that. Everyone should have that kind of love. So, yes, that's my take, like, I will open it with, like, an open universe," Dhanashree said.

Bharti Singh says ‘main kaam waali ki beti hoon'; would eat three-day-old leftovers, doesn't recognise dead father in pictures: ‘Ajnabee hain'

Comedian Bharti Singh comes from humble beginnings. The first time that she took a flight was when she was called to Mumbai for a comedy show. Before that, she had experienced difficult times as a child. Her father died when she was just two years old, leaving her 22-year-old mother to fend for herself and her three children. Bharti said that her mother cleaned houses for a living, and was often made to feel lesser. This had a huge impact on Bharti's mind, and she was determined to do everything in her power to provide a better life for her mother. 'If I could erect a temple for her, I would,' she said in a recent appearance on Raj Shamani's show. Bharti said that she treats all her staff with love and respect because she saw how her mother was treated when she worked at others' homes. 'I remember my mother would come home after some employer had scolded her. She would tell my sister about it. She would get upset if she broke a plate or something. Sometimes, she would get hurt also, and we'd see a bandage on her hand. On Diwali, we would wait for our mother eagerly, because we knew she'd get a box of sweets. We could never afford sweets. We couldn't afford firecrackers. We couldn't even imagine buying new clothes. I would get old clothes given to her by her employers,' she said. By 22, she was alone. 'My mother was beautiful, she had long hair. She could've easily gotten married again. But she became a house help. Kaam waali ban gayi thi logon ke ghar. Main kaam waali ki beti hoon (She became a house help. I am the daughter of a house help). I remember, some days, I would go with her when she worked. And ladies would tell her to mop up properly. They've give her leftover food, and we'd be so happy that we'd get to eat kofta or daal makhani.' Opening up about losing her father and how that made her feel as a child, Bharti said, 'I was two when my father died. He had cholera, and he coughed up blood after drinking. I have no memory of him. Even today, there's a picture of him at home, but I don't recognise him. He's a stranger. I tell them to pull the picture down. They wouldn't make fun of me, but they would feel pity for me. The teacher would segregate us on the basis of who had a father and who didn't, because the kids who didn't have dads would be given schoolbooks. I didn't know what a father was, I would hear my friends talk about their dads. I learned that fathers are strict and they bring gifts; I didn't know. I would feel like I was different.' Bharti is now one of the highest-paid individuals on Indian television. She has long been associated with Kapil Sharma, and now runs a massively popular YouTube channel with over 7 million subscribers.

Dhanashree Verma On ‘Really Bad Days' In Marriage With Yuzvendra Chahal: 'How You Behave…'

Yuzvendra Chahal's ex-wife, actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma, has broken her silence on their divorce. Yuzvendra Chahal's ex-wife, actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma, has broken her silence on their divorce. In her first-ever conversation about the split on the Humans of Bombay podcast, she admitted that while there were good days in the marriage, the bad days outweighed them. Looking back at their marriage, Dhanashree said, 'I feel like grief, true grief, true chaos in a marriage, it has to be understood between both parties. It has to be acknowledged, identified. When you get married, there is love. It is love that gets two people together. But when you actually end it, sometimes it is a space of distrust. But that does not give you the power to disrespect. You need to maintain respect throughout." Reacting to Yuzvendra Chahal's 'sugar daddy' T-shirt that he wear to the family court on the day of their final divorce hearing, Dhanashree said, 'How you behave on that particular day is a reflection of who you are as a person. In marriage, of course, there are good days and bad days, but when it ends, it means the bad days were really bad. And at that point, you have to be mature about it," Dhanashree said. Opening up on how she broke down at the court, she said, 'It was very emotional for me and my family," Dhanashree shared. 'I still remember when I was standing there and the verdict was about to be given, even though you are so mentally prepared that it is going to happen, it was still so emotional. I literally started howling and crying in front of everybody. I cannot even express what I was feeling at that point of time." Earlier, Chahal had explained his T-shirt stunt in a podcast with Raj Shamani. He had said, 'I just felt like I wanted to give one message and I did that. Because something had happened from the other end… I didn't want to do it earlier but then something happened and I decided, now everyone can go to hell, I will do what I want." Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma tied the knot in 2020 in a lavish wedding attended by several cricketing legends.
