Korea Herald14-05-2025
The third EP from TWS got a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan on Tuesday.
EP 'Try With Us' logged 100,000 shipments as of April and earned the certification, as did its first single 'Last Bell' in December last year.
Although the boy band is yet to officially debut in the country, its mini album rose up to No. 2 and No. 5 on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking.
The six members are poised to enter Japan in earnest this summer with single 'Nice to See You Again.' The three-track single album is due out on July 2, days before they embark on touring the nation under the title '24/7:With:Us.' They will visit six cities for 13 shows in the span of one month.

Ive's Wonyoung cowrote main track for new EP

Starship Entertainment uploaded on Tuesday the track lists for Ive's upcoming fourth EP, 'Ive Secret." Jang Wonyoung co-authored the lyrics of the main track 'XOXZ' as she did for 'Attitude,' which fronted the previous EP, 'Ive Empathy.' Liz participated in lyric-writing for the B-side track 'Midnight Kiss.' The mini album is due out on Aug. 25. It will carry on the group's 'narcissistic' narrative but will focus on the true emotions hidden behind the faces one has put on. It has been about seven months since the group's last EP sold over 1 million copies and earned 15 first-place trophies on local music chart shows — the prerelease 'Rebel Heart' cinched 11 and the main track 'Attitude' four. Separately, the group put out its third album in Japan, 'Be Alright,' on July 30 and topped Oricon's Daily, Weekly and Weekly Combined Album Rankings.

Enhypen's 4th Japan single certifies double platinum

Enhypen added another release to its 'double platinum' list as its fourth single in Japan 'Yoi' earned the certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The organization announced Friday that the physical single qualified for the title after logging 500,000 shipments in the previous month. The single is its third record to do so, following the two previous singles in Japan: 'Dimension: Senkou' and 'You.' Single 'Yoi' is the septet's first physical release in the country to sell over half a million and did so in just three days. Last week, the band performed 'Shine On Me,' the focus track from its fourth single, at its Osaka show which wrapped up the Japan leg of tour 'Walk the Line.' It began touring US in New York on Wednesday and will hit the stage in Chicago on Saturday.
