
'High-visibility' crime blitz in Windsor, Ont., leads to 17 arrests in three days
A total of 17 people have been arrested over three days in what police say is an effort to 'improve community safety' in a Windsor, Ont., neighbourhood.

Man taken to hospital in critical condition after stabbing near Chinatown
A man was taken to hospital with series injuries sustained during a stabbing near Ottawa's Chinatown neighbourhood early Tuesday evening, paramedics say. Ottawa Paramedics said they received a call around 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday for a stabbing on Eccles Street, between Booth and Rochester streets. Paramedics said they transported the man to hospital in critical condition but couldn't say if his injuries were life-threatening. The Ottawa Police Service said they responded to an incident in the area but wouldn't provide any further details.
