Fortnite: All exclusive rewards in the Star Wars LEGO Pass revealed – unlock iconic skins, emotes, and more

Time of India03-05-2025
Fortnite paused between Chapter 6 Season 2 and Season 3 to bring in a special Star Wars mini-season. Epic Games, famous for its multiple collaborations with Star Wars over the years, has now released its largest collaboration yet. Through this collaboration, players can experience a range of Star Wars-themed content, from legendary weapons to Force powers, all within the Battle Royale mode.
Star Wars battle royale: Unlock iconic weapons and exclusive cosmetics in Fortnite
Throughout this mini-season, players can fight in Battle Royale battles using iconic Star Wars weapons like lightsabers and blasters. They can also use Force powers to gain the upper hand in battles. Players will see themed sites inspired by the world of Star Wars scattered throughout the map, which is an entirely new level of immersion in the game.
While it's tradition for Fortnite to honour Star Wars in May because of "May the Fourth" celebrations, this season is unique with an added twist. Players can not only gain the usual Star Wars content, but players can also unlock a range of exclusive Star Wars cosmetics via the Battle Pass and the new LEGO Pass. As a part of the Star Wars celebration, Fortnite has a free First Order Stormtrooper skin available. This is for gamers who go through a simple procedure in order to receive the skin.
Get the Captain Phasma skin now: Available through the First Order LEGO Pass and Fortnite Crew
The Captain Phasma skin is the first major reward in the newly introduced First Order LEGO Pass. To obtain this skin, players must purchase the Star Wars LEGO Pass or subscribe to the Fortnite Crew between May 2 and June 7. The Captain Phasma skin is granted immediately upon acquiring the pass, meaning players don't need to level up to unlock it.
Furthermore, LEGO Pass rewards are not limited to the pass itself and can also become available in the Item Shop later. So, if players miss it this season, there is always the possibility of buying Captain Phasma in the shop when it is back.
The First Order LEGO Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks. But Fortnite Crew Pack subscribers will have access to the LEGO Pass unlockables if their subscription is current. They will be able to unlock all of it for $11.99 if they finish the pass before it expires.
How to unlock exclusive Star Wars LEGO Pass rewards in Fortnite
First Order LEGO Pass contains four pages of cosmetic rewards that can be unlocked by players. The rewards are primarily specific to the LEGO Fortnite game modes like LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and Brick Life. Nevertheless, there are some common items, such as emotes, loading screens, and jam tracks, that can be utilized outside these modes.

Epic Games wins partial victory in Australian court against Google and Apple

Epic Games, the company behind the popular online game Fortnite, on Tuesday won a partial victory in an Australian court. The case was brought by U.S. billionaire chief executive Tim Sweeney, who claimed that Google and Apple engaged in anti-competitive conduct in running their app stores. Federal Court Justice Jonathan Beach upheld key parts of Epic's claim that the tech giants breached Australian competition laws by misusing their market power against app developers and using restrictive trade practices. Google and Apple 's dominance of the app market had the effect of substantially lessening competition and breached Australian law, Beach found. But the judge rejected some of Epic's claim including that Google and Apple engaged in unconscionable conduct as defined by Australian law. Sweeney is also challenging Google and Apple's dominance in the app markets through the courts in the United States and Britain. The litigation began in August 2020 when Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store expelled Fortnite because Epic installed a direct payment feature in the extraordinarily popular game. The court ruled both companies pressured app developers including Epic through contracts and technology to sell their products through the two dominant app stores. Epic said that the ruling will allow its Epic Games Store and Fortnite to come to Apple's operating system iOS in Australia. 'An Australian court just found that Apple and Google abuse their control over app distribution and in-app payments to limit competition,' Epic said in a statement. 'There are 2,000+ pages of findings that we'll need to dig into to fully understand the details," the statement added. "This is a WIN for developers and consumers in Australia!' Apple said the company 'faces fierce competition in every market where we operate.' 'We welcome the Australian court's rejection of some of Epic's claims, however, we strongly disagree with the Court's ruling on others,' Apple said in a statement. Google said it would review the judgment. Google and Apple could potentially appeal the ruling before the Federal Court full bench. 'We disagree with the court's characterisation of our billing policies and practices, as well as its findings regarding some of our historical partnerships, which were all shaped in a fiercely competitive mobile landscape on behalf of users and developers,' a Google statement said. Beach has yet to release a 952-page judgment on Epic's case against Apple or his 914-page judgment on the case against Google. The judge gave an oral summary of his findings during a 90-minute hearing Tuesday. Lawyers will return to court on a date yet to be set to argue what Epic is entitled to in terms of damages.

Over two decades, the fictional realm appeared in commercials, games, and even films, becoming a cultural touchstone for generations of McDonald's fans. The world features imaginative places like Apple Pie Trees, Hamburger Patches, and the volcanic Mt. McDonaldland, now the inspiration for the new shake. 'Over the past few years, we've seen how fans flock to our characters, everyone from Grimace to the Hamburglar,' said Jennifer 'JJ' Healan, McDonald's VP of U.S. Marketing, Brand, Content & Culture. 'But many, especially the new generation, don't know that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's an entire magical world of McDonaldland… This is a chance to give fans a new, modern way to experience it.' What's included in the McDonaldland meal? The McDonaldland Meal offers two entrée options and several exclusive extras: Main choice: Quarter Pounder with Cheese or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets Side: World Famous Fries Drink: Mt.
