The Harrier.ev comes with two battery pack options – 65 kWh and 75 kWh.
Tata Motors has officially opened bookings for its brand-new electric SUV, the Harrier.ev.
Launched at a starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), this striking vehicle is the first in Tata's range to offer an all-wheel-drive system. Customers can choose from five variants: Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and Empowered AWD.
Existing Tata EV owners are in for a treat, as the company is offering them a special loyalty bonus worth Rs 1 lakh.
Battery & Range
Buyers can pick between two battery packs—65 kWh and 75 kWh. The 65 kWh model comes with a single motor and rear-wheel drive, producing 238 bhp and 315 Nm of torque. The larger 75 kWh pack is available with either rear-wheel drive or an exciting dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that generates a remarkable 313 bhp and 504 Nm.
Range figures are equally impressive. The 65 kWh variant offers a claimed range of up to 538 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the 75 kWh rear-wheel-drive version can go as far as 627 km, with the AWD model close behind at 622 km.
Features
Inside, the Harrier.ev gets a fresh, modern look. The dashboard has been upgraded and houses a large 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Tata proudly claims the SUV features the world's first 14.53-inch Harman infotainment screen powered by Samsung NEO QLED technology.
Other feature highlights include a JBL Black 10-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated and powered front seats, a driver seat with memory function, a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, window sunblinds, and ambient lighting.

Tirupati: The famous Konda Bitragunta Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple will soon get its temple tank (Koneru) renovated at a cost of Rs 2.10 crore. VPR Foundation established by Nellore TDP MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, has come forward to sponsor the cost of renovation, giving the temple a refreshingly new look. The temple is also getting a compound wall with Rs 1.65 crore provided by the Endowments department. Vemireddy along with his wife and Kovur legislator Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy and Kavali MLA Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy, took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the proposed development works at the temple on Sunday. Addressing the public, the MP recalled that the 800-year-old temple deserved a better maintenance and called it a 'divine blessing' bestowed upon him for taking up the work. He expected the developmental work to be completed before the Brahmotsavam to be conducted next year. Prashanthi Reddy, who is also a member of the TTD trust board, offered to moot the idea of establishing a Veda Patashala here. She added that efforts are underway to secure additional funds to the tune of Rs 15 crore for the comprehensive development of this ancient shrine with the help of the state govt's support. Indore hotels see highest occupancy in state due to rise in spiritual tourism

Indore: Hotels in Indore circle have recorded highest occupancy in the state during April-July period against hotels in all other circles owned by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) due to a surge in spiritual tourism. MPTDC has divided its hotels across six regions in the state, and among all property, the Indore region has registered the highest occupancy. MPTDC owns 15 hotels in Indore region. Room occupancy in the Indore region has increased by 2.5 percent compared to the corresponding period a year ago, according to MPTDC. Typically, hotel occupancy sees a significant rise during monsoon and winter months when tourist traffic increases across the state. However, this year, a remarkable influx of visitors to spiritual hubs such as Ujjain and Omkareshwar has resulted in heightened demand for accommodation even during the scorching summer months. MPTDC Indore regional manager Ajay Shrivastava said, "Summers are usually off season for us but this time we received very good bookings. The bookings during the first four months of the new fiscal year has jumped 2.5 per cent from the same period a year ago." The region has earned Rs 35 lakh during the April-July period, said Shrivastava. In the region, hotels in Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Gandhi Sagar and Sailani received higher footfall of tourists than the previous year in the first four months of the fiscal 2024-25. The tourism department has added new rooms in many hotels and upgraded infrastructure to accommodate a higher number of tourists. The department has recently inaugurated a heritage property converted into a 20-room hotel in Ujjain. "We are working on adding more rooms and increasing amenities at our property to attract more influx of tourists. The influx of tourists from neighbouring states like Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan has also increased in the state," said Shrivastava. According to data from the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Ujjain, Maihar, Chitrakoot, Indore and Amarkanta were ranked among the top five tourist destinations in the state last year. Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh has achieved its highest-ever export worth Rs 66,218 crore in the financial year 2024-25, improving its national export ranking. The 6% growth in exports is mainly due to increased exports in pharmaceuticals, engineering goods and soy-based products. According to the latest report by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), merchandise exports contributed Rs 62,180 crore, while IT companies operating in special economic zones (SEZs) contributed Rs 4,038 crore to the state's export portfolio. Due to economic growth in these sectors, Madhya Pradesh's national export ranking improved from 15th to 11th. The report highlights that the state improved its global market position in exports due to growth in pharmaceuticals, engineering goods, and soy-based agricultural products. The Investment-friendly industrial development policies, expanding industrial base, and improved export-oriented infrastructure have been listed as key drivers of growth. Additionally, the growing interest of international markets in Madhya Pradesh also played a significant role. Dhar district ranked first in exports with Rs 17,830 crore, followed by Indore with Rs 13,500 crore, focusing on pharmaceutical, automation, and food processing sectors.
