Kim Kardashian Dons An Archival Mugler Bodysuit With A Barely There Waist

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to a dizzyingly tight corset, often leaving onlookers in varied states of awe, shock, and at times wincing in sympathy. This time around, the Skims founder is showing off an archival Mugler find, one which would not have looked out of place on a villainous femme fatale.
The look, posted to her Instagram this week, consisted of a sheer full sleeved bodysuit and connected stockings, which both featured symmetrical sequin bands crawling up the mesh material. The bodysuit also featured a structured bodice and a jaw-grazing high neck which only served to heighten the enveloping feel of the look.
Kardashian paired the ensemble with a large fur coat, straight from the original runway where the look debuted in 1998.
From her hotel room fitting, she shared the snaps with the caption, 'Mugler Magic.'
This is far from the socialite's first venture into bodices which take our (and one would imagine her) breath away. Just last year, Kardashian attended the 2024 Met Gala in a Maison Margiela look consisting of a silver applique corseted gown, paired with a cozy grey cardigan.
A few years prior in 2019, she attended the same event in another Mugler creation; a custom wet-look latex dress which was corseted to unreal proportions.
On that note, these looks definitely lean more towards performance pieces than attainable style inspiration. The reality star herself provided a glimpse into what wearing one of these bodices entails last year on an episode of The Kardashians. Filmed on the day of 2024 Met Gala, the episode showed Kardashian panicking and trying to remove the corset after the event.
'I am claustrophobic. I've never felt this way before, where I feel like I can't breathe,' she recounted in a confessional.
She continued, 'I was like I'm going to die if you don't get this off of me right now.'
So, while we all love a sartorial moment which simultaneously serves as a display of artful construction, we'll leave these displays to the celebrities.

Miranda Priestly Reborn: 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Filming & the Styles Defining Fashion's Favorite Villain

The 2006 Streep-Hathaway blockbuster, The Devil Wears Prada , was never just a film; it was always about fashion as it exists within contemporary culture — and this remains the focal point of the long-awaited sequel, hitting theatres Spring 2026. Photographers have recently spotted the cast and crew filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 in the streets of New York City, catching a glimpse of the characters and their present-day fabulous fashion choices — including fashion's favorite villain, Miranda Priestly. Here's everything we know so far! Who is Styling The Devil Wears Prada 2 ? Patricia Field is the mastermind behind the film's costume design, pulling from a cascade of couture and making for one-of-a-kind storytelling and an archive that will go down in history. Alongside Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, the renowned stylist — whose vision appears on film and television's most prominent screens — has been confirmed to return to work on the set of The Devil Wears Prada sequel. Because 'truth is, no one can do what [she does].' (Photo by Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images) Spotted filming for the Devil Wears Prada 2 were members of the original cast, who could be seen strutting through the streets of New York in ensembles of refined office chic. Once rumored not to be joining the sequel, Anne Hathaway ('Andy Sachs') commanded attention in an oversized menswear look (but let's be real, what would the movie be without an Andy Sachs revival?) — aligning with the fashion repertoire of the original film, while also tying in the top trends of today. Youthful and radiant as ever, all that's changed about Hathaway is her interpretation of business casual. Gird Your Loins: Here Comes Miranda Priestly NEW YORK, NY – JULY 23: Meryl Streep is seen on the set of 'Devil Wears Prada II' on July 23, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images) Unshakable in her influence (on the film's success and culture at large) is none other than Meryl Streep, the award-winning actress who will star in The Devil Wears Prada 2 as the revered Miranda Priestly for a second time. Portraying the fashion matriarch and editorial powerhouse behind the fictional Runway magazine, Streep will undoubtedly once again grace our screens with a standout performance and a wardrobe of our wildest dreams. On July 23, the world got a glimpse into the fashion of Streep's character for the upcoming film, as she turned heads in an unmistakably-Priestly look. Captured donning a floor-length, loose-fitted trench coat, Field's costume design satisfies contemporary modes of dress while still nodding to Y2K corporate magazine culture: the iconic Wintourian shades and a silk blouse tucked into a brown-leather pencil skirt. The (literal) poster image of The Devil Wears Prada makes itself known on location for the film, as Streep/Priestly steps out in a pair of burnt orange pumps. The shoe silhouette is inseparable from the role, and we are eager to see what other footwear will make appearances as shooting continues. Priestly's looks from the 2006 film are defined by opulence: regal palettes of violets and coppers, eccentric gemstone jewelry, and dramatic, whimsical frames. As Y2K maximalism re-enters the fashion scene, we will be drawing inspiration from her past looks, which strike a perfect balance between avant-garde patterns and accessories, and sleek, timeless styling. However, will Streep's character be doing the same in the movie's sequel? Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly. Photo Credit: Shutterstock. When you're running an empire, you have to dress the part. Despite being a woman of few words (cough, cough: 'that's all'), her looks have always been loud and expressive. Take her embellished tweed blazer with layered gold chains, for example. I mean, this is the perfect case study. Original costuming was reflective of Priestly's energy: confident, bold, and outspoken, but not doing more than necessary. Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly. Photo Credit: Shutterstock. Tuesday's paparazzi preview showed the star with a more toned-down, realistic take on officecore — minus the pumps, of course. But if we know anything about Miranda Priestly, there is much more couture in store — or at least we hope she will be exiting her chauffeured vehicle each morning with more unique spins on everyday business casual. Whether she arrives in a fur coat and sequined blouse or neutral colorways and classic silhouettes, we can guarantee it'll come from the most exclusive of the exclusive fashion closets. After all, Priestly is a masterclass in both quiet and loud luxury. Die-hard fan or new to the franchise, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will undoubtedly be a film worth seeing — if not for entertainment, definitely for outfit inspiration!

(Photo byfor DAOU Vineyards) Hailey Bieber opened up to Vogue Italia this week in a refreshingly candid conversation about motherhood, her marriage, and living life under constant public scrutiny. The Rhode founder spent time discussing her experience with pregnancy and postpartum, as well as the constant speculation surrounding her and her husband Justin Bieber. Hailey gave birth to her son Jack Blues Bieber in August of last year, and according to the mogul it was one of the most difficult periods of her life. 'Giving birth was the hardest thing I've ever done,' she shared regarding her difficult 18-hour labour. She described her medically induced labour, and experiencing postpartum haemorrhaging afterwards, as well as the time that came after. 'Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I've ever gone through in my life.' Hailey Bieber is seen in Tribeca on June 23, 2024 in New York City. 'There's an ease that comes with it, a confidence,' she stated, describing the strength that motherhood provides her with now. 'You really start to give less of a fuck about so many things,' she continued. The model also went on to describe how the birth of Jack strengthened her and Justin's relationship too. Reiterating that most of what is written about her marriage holds little truth. 'Going on the internet every day and people being like, 'They're getting divorced' and 'They're this' and 'They're not happy', it is such a mindfuck,' she explained. 'I cannot even begin to explain it. It's a crazy life to live.' Justin also chimed in with a comment for the interview, telling the publication, 'I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I've done was marry Hailey.' 'It's where my heart is for sure.'
