Katie Price says both her bankruptcies have been discharged

Yahoo18-03-2025

Reality star Katie Price has said that both of her bankruptcies have been discharged.
The former glamour model, 46, who has fronted various Channel 4 and BBC documentaries about her life, was declared bankrupt for a second time last year over an unpaid tax bill worth more than £750,000.
Her first bankruptcy from 2019 was discharged earlier this year, after a hearing at the Insolvency and Companies Court.
A representative for Ms Price confirmed to the PA news agency on Tuesday that the second bankruptcy has been discharged.
Ms Price told The Sun: 'I'm so happy. I can finally move on and put these bankruptcies behind me and now only focus on the positive.
'Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this process.'
Her solicitor Chris Keane, from Fieldfisher LLP, told the newspaper that Ms Price had been 'fully compliant with her Trustee in Bankruptcy and has been discharged from both bankruptcies in short order', after attending a private interview.
Ms Price was first declared bankrupt in November 2019, and in February last year was ordered to pay 40% of her monthly income from the adult entertainment website OnlyFans until February 2027 to help pay off her debts.
The court previously heard if the second bankruptcy remained in force she must pay money from OnlyFans to the trustee.
In February, barrister Darragh Connell, representing the trustee of Ms Price's bankruptcies, told the Insolvency and Companies Court: 'As to the second bankruptcy, the trustee's position is that pursuant to information provided by Ms Price, the trustee has been undertaking inquiries with third parties.
'The outcome of those inquiries is not yet known.'
He added: 'It may well transpire to be the case that an application is made to suspend discharge for a limited period, but that is not before the court today.'
Ms Price had previously failed to attend a court date related to her bankruptcy, and an arrest warrant in July was issued.
At the time, Ms Price said on Instagram that she was 'not running from matters' and was 'neither embarrassed or ashamed', and was 'fully aware of the severity of my current personal financial situation'.
A private interview took place on September 24, according to a court hearing, where 'sufficient provision of information' was made to avoid the need for a public examination concerning her first bankruptcy.
A public examination related to the second bankruptcy had been adjourned until April 8.
According to the Government, a person is usually released from a bankruptcy within 12 months, meaning they are discharged from the restrictions and debts from the bankruptcy.
However, the former bankrupt must pay debts that were not included in their bankruptcy, and a trustee continues to deal with the bankruptcy debt settlements.
Price was a contestant on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, where she first became romantic with former husband, singer Peter Andre.
She won the 2015 series of Celebrity Big Brother, and most recently put out the Channel 4 documentary Katie Price: Making Babies about her fertility journey with ex-fiance Carl Woods.
Mr Keane and HMRC have been contacted for comment.

All-American Rejects' frontman Tyson Ritter teases 'full-frontal' on OnlyFans

All-American Rejects' frontman Tyson Ritter teases 'full-frontal' on OnlyFans Show Caption Hide Caption Watch as All-American Rejects perform surprise show Less than 30 hours after the show was announced, hundreds attended the All-American Rejects' surprise show in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter wants to bare it all. The lead singer of the emo pop-rock band is starting an OnlyFans, he reveals. He's coy on the details, though, telling GQ in an interview published June 4 that fans can "expect full-frontal rock and roll with all access" on the risqué content site. "The All-American Rejects are behind me doing it, and it's really nice to be supported by my band in this wild adventure of 2025 for us," Ritter said, noting the band's viral house party shows and new album have put a battery in their back. "I don't think anybody would have expected the All-American Rejects to make a ripple in the water ever again." Ritter previously told USA TODAY that their house party tour – a string of impromptu concerts in everywhere from backyards to barns – started as a "rite of passage moment" shared with University of Southern California students. "It feels incredible and indescribable right now. It's from this hope to have something to say again as a band and present to an audience we didn't resonate with anywhere but radio and MTV," he said. "To be able to put out new music and find our footing as a band with this activation, I'm so beside myself with gratitude." All-American Rejects singer answers burning questions about those viral pop-up shows The momentum has inspired a unique way of getting more plugged in, with OnlyFans. "The excitement behind this whole thing is like, 'Where else can we be disruptive?' We've always been a band who's got a tongue bursting through the cheek when it comes to our music. So why not ..." he told GQ, making an explicit joke suggesting the page would include nudity. But Ritter doesn't actually suggest NSFW content would be included in his subscription; instead, he seems to be offering a way for All-American Rejects followers to connect with the band unfiltered and outside of traditional platforms, including concerts and social media. "It's a platform that is offering an experience where the artist can set the price, and it's artists-to-fans," Ritter told the outlet, highlighting OnlyFans' innocent start before explicit content took over. "There's no middleman, there's no subscription costs." As for Ritter's account, "maybe you'll pay 69 cents just because we're little cheeky cats." The band recently released "Sandbox" and "Easy Come, Easy Go," the first two singles from their first album in almost 14 years. They will tour more conventionally starting Aug. 10 as openers on the Jonas Brothers' stadium tour. The singer lamented the price of being a music fan today. "Some of these concerts are like $300, and then in order to get the closer experience, the tier system goes through the roof," Ritter said. "We're not trying to offer a VIP meet and greet that you just empty your account and max out a credit card. I heard some people have credit cards now just for their concert expenditures. Like, what ... ?" The frontman appeared dismayed by the state of hyper-commercialization in music. "When art becomes content, you are commodifying inspiration, and you are destroying our culture by not sincerely approaching your gift," he said. "All I can do, as the elder statesman, man, is just sit back and say, 'How can we scream in this vacuum for the kid in his garage?'" Contributing: Melissa Ruggieri

During his tenure, Hayat, who used to work for ITV, has been part of a nations and regions relocation, successful battle to avoid privatization, digital strategy and a Fast Forward plan. He told Deadline it had 'been a privilege to do my bit to contribute to Channel 4's digital transformation over recent years,' as he flagged successes like a 'refresh of strategic direction through Future4 and Fast Forward, navigating the complexities of the privatisation debate and securing a new licence that positions Channel 4 confidently for the next decade.' 'I'm confident Channel 4 is in a strong place to take on whatever comes next,' he added. 'When I do depart, I'll leave as a friend and admirer of Channel 4 – and I'm honoured to have spent five fantastic years here.' Interim CEO Allan is about to take over temporarily from the departing Mahon and he set out a reorganization of reporting lines 'on a temporary basis until a new CEO arrives' in his all-staffer, noting that he would 'just have too many direct reports to manage the business effectively' if things remained the same. Changes include Film4's Farhana Bhula and Director of Equity and Inclusion Marcia Williams reporting to Chief Commercial Affairs Officer Martin Baker, Chief Commercial Officer Rak Patel taking responsibility for 4Ventures and nations and regions boss Sinead Rocks taking on policy and public affairs. Allan said he will hold Q&A sessions in all Channel 4 offices over the next month. The news comes at a time of change for Channel 4, which has also lost chair Ian Cheshire and Film4/TV drama boss Ollie Madden.
