
BRONX BULLETS: Citi Bike gunmen shoot two in NYC in overnight mayhem
A man, 32, was blasted in the torso at East 146th Street and Brook Avenue by two males on one Citi Bike, cops said.
About 15 minutes later, a woman, 35, was shot in the leg when gunfire rang out near Westchester Aveue and Third Avenue in Mott Haven around 9:20 p.m., cops said. Police were looking for two males riding separate Citi Bikes in that incident, according to cops.

It wasn't immediately clear if the two incidents were related or if the victims were intended targets, police said. Both were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Investigators were out at the scenes canvassing for video, cops said.
Later, a man was shot at West 146th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard in Harlem around 1:30 a.m., cops said.
When police arrived at the scene, they were told the victim, 41, had already left. They found him at Harlem Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach, police said.

The victim was in stable condition early Saturday. The motive was unknown.
Nearly three hours later, a man was shot once in the back around 4 a.m. at Steinway Street and Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, Queens, police said. The 25-year-old was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
The number of shooting incidents is down from 217 to 178 so far this year, when compared to the same period last year and shooting victims decreased from 256 to 209, an 18% drop, according to NYPD data.

2 moped riders killed by Mercedes on Bronx River Parkway: cops
Two moped riders were killed on the Bronx River Parkway early Monday when a Mercedes driver slammed into them, police and law-enforcement sources said. The 2019 Mercedes C class sedan was traveling south in the left lane when it moved to the center lane and rear-ended a Volkswagen GTI, causing it to careen into a guardrail near East Gun Hill Road in The Bronx around 12:30 a.m., authorities said. Two scooters were hit by a Mercedes on the Bronx River Parkway early Monday. The bullets that flew in Times Square Saturday night struck an 18-year-old woman in an Uber and a man standing on the sidewalk, after a teen shooter argued with a Citibike rider and fired into the street, police sources said Saturday. The 17-year-old gunman, who was inside the restaurant Raising Cane on Broadway when the dispute first erupted, decided to settle his beef with the Citibike rider outside the eatery. He went onto the street and fired three shots at a group of about a dozen Citibike riders, striking one of them — a 19-year-old — in the foot, the sources said. Uber said it found more than 100 instances in which passengers who claimed its drivers sexually assaulted or harassed them offered bogus or doctored receipts to prove ridership, or did not explain their inability to provide receipts. In a Wednesday court filing, Uber urged US District Judge Charles Breyer in San Francisco to order 21 plaintiffs with suspect receipts to justify why their claims should not be dismissed, and 90 plaintiffs to provide receipts or 'non-boilerplate' reasons for their absence. They were not accused of wrongdoing.
