Michelle Williams Opens Up About Welcoming Baby No. 4 and Her Secret to Raising 3 Kids Under Age 5
Michelle Williams is opening up about life as a mom of four. The Dying for Sex star quietly welcomed her fourth child earlier this year via surrogate, as reported by People in April. The newborn is her third child with husband Thomas Kail, with whom she also shares son Hart, 4, and another child born in 2022 whose name and sex have not been revealed. (Williams also shares daughter Matilda, 19, with the late Heath Ledger.) Williams, 44, gave a 'big shout-out' to her surrogate, Christine, during an appearance on the Monday, August 18, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! She told guest host Tiffany Haddish that she and Kail welcomed a baby girl. 'This last baby did not come out of my body,' the Dawson's Creek alum shared. 'The miracle of our little girl is thanks to Christine. Thank you, Christine!' Michelle Williams and Husband Thomas Kail's Relationship Timeline: Inside Their Private Love Story The actress admitted that she sometimes feels mom guilt leaving her three youngest children when she has to go to work. 'I have, thanks to Christine, three under 5 at home,' she said, quipping, 'Everything's good and under control. I'm the adult.' 'It's good, it's good. It's just really busy,' Williams said. 'I'm just trying to figure out the life-work balance, and you know, I hear a lot of people talking about self-care, and I'm just wondering, 'When?!' Because I'm a working mom, and so I already have the guilt and I don't want to take more time away from them, but I understand I need to fill up the tank.' Williams said she's found the perfect solution to make time for herself: mundane bureaucratic tasks at the Social Security office. 'You say, 'I'm sorry, honey, but one day you're going to grow up, and you're going to get a job, and you're going to pay taxes, and you're going to need a Social Security number for that,'' she explained. Michelle Williams' Quotes About the Late Heath Ledger Following His Death Williams continued, 'I recommend a midday appointment, because it's a little bit more crowded, and then you can claim your rightful place at the back of the line, where they will let you wait in complete silence for at least one hour. … Bring, like, a nail file and to-do list, and like, check, check, check.' 'If you want a pro hack tip, don't double-check your paperwork, because you might have to go back,' the actress joked. 'Three kids, that's three appointments. I mess up the paperwork, that's six appointments.' For further time away from home, Williams humorously advised, 'REAL ID. Don't sleep on that! It's an opportunity. Get your REAL ID. Take care of yourself.' Solve the daily Crossword

‘Stranger Things' Star Dacre Montgomery Reveals Why He Took an Acting Hiatus After Show's Success
Dacre Montgomery is opening up about acting post-Stranger Things. In a recent interview with People magazine, Montgomery reflects on how his breakout role as Billy Hargrove in the popular Netflix series 'pushed' him in a 'commercial direction' and led him to take an acting hiatus after his character's (Spoiler Alert!) death in the season three finale in 2019. More from The Hollywood Reporter Helen Mirren on Finding Time to Do It All and Why She Doesn't Plan to Retire Anytime Soon 'Night Always Comes' Review: Vanessa Kirby Gets Put Through the Wringer in Netflix's Grim Neo-Noir Odyssey First Look at 'Nobody Wants This' Season 2 Sees Adam Brody and Kristen Bell Still in Love 'I think with Stranger Things — as any big show on Netflix — it's kind of like you lose your anonymity overnight,' he said. 'It was amazing and overwhelming and a combination of many things, and I felt really lucky and really fortunate to have that opportunity.' He continued to explain what he learned about his career goals from the show. 'I grew up really wanting to work with all tour directors on arthouse films and really explore how far I can push myself in terms of character development and really, really fall in love with stories. And when Stranger Things came out, I felt like … I was really being pushed in a commercial direction.' That direction led him to 'take time to step back' to figure out what projects he wanted to focus on moving forward. Outside of appearing in Baz Luhrmann's 2022 box office hit and Oscar-nominated film, Elvis, Montgomery has focused on acting in indie films. 'That sort of stuff takes time to kind of reverse engineer a career that's going one way into a different direction,' he said. 'It takes time, and I can't just generate a story, an amazing story [and] an amazing director in front of my eyes.' Montgomery said his new horror/fantasy film, Went Up the Hill, is 'exactly the thing I want to be doing,' and he wants to work on projects that have 'something really important to say.' 'Now I kind of feel like I'm in a really, really good space with a couple of great movies coming up that fit the bill… in terms of where I wanted to be,' he said. Went Up the Hill is now playing in select theaters. Influencer Stacey Tourout Initially Survived Fatal Off-Roading Accident With Fiance Matthew Yeomans
Influencer Stacey Tourout reportedly briefly survived the off-roading accident that took the life of fiancé Matthew Yeomans. Mark Jennings-Bates, a manager of the Kaslo Search and Rescue (SAR) team, told People on Friday, August 15, that Tourout was still conscious when the team arrived at the scene of the incident. Jennings-Bates, however, noted that Tourout suffered a 'severe head injury,' adding that 'she didn't realize quite how injured she was.' She was lifted from the area by helicopter and transferred to an ambulance that took her to a local hospital. Tourout died later that night. Yeomans, meanwhile, had been ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Jennings-Bates confirmed to People that Yeomans had 'no vital signs' when the rescue team found his body. Influencers Stacey Tourout, Matthew Yeomans Rolled 'Many Times' Before Fatal Off-Roading Accident Jennings-Bates called the area where the YouTube couple crashed a 'backcountry trail' with 'pretty rough' terrain. He noted that the vehicle fell roughly 200 meters (around 656 feet) down a 'steep boulder field.' Tourout allegedly remained in the vehicle until it came to a stop. 'From what I understand, it's one of the few patches of the road that doesn't have a forest on the side,' Jennings-Bates told the outlet. 'So anywhere else, they would've been caught by the trees — they would've maybe gotten a bit hurt. But this is the one area where they were gonna go for a big ride if they did go off the side road.' The couple's family announced their deaths on August 11, sharing a photo of Tourout and Yeomans smiling while standing in front of a mountain. 'With unimaginable heartache, the families of Matthew Peter Yeomans and Stacey Tourout would like to advise that we lost them both tragically succumbing to injuries in an offroad accident on Aug 7, 2025 in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia that they loved so much,' the statement shared via Facebook read. Influencer Couple Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans Dead After Off-Roading Accident The message continued, 'Please keep us and them in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this devastating end to an amazing Love Story. They are together forever as we knew they would always be.' The deaths of the pair, who ran the YouTube channel Toyota World Runners, was confirmed by Kaslo SAR. The team claimed that rescuers were called to the scene for an off-road motor vehicle accident on August 7 around 7:30 local time. "So it was on a forestry road, somewhere in the mountains, and quite a long ways north in the valley up towards ... the village of Trout Lake,' Jennings-Bates told Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), noting that rescuers had an accurate location for the incident. Jennings-Bates continued, "Our teams were able to get to them efficiently. It's a long journey, but they got there efficiently. So that was very, very helpful. And of course that means that the helicopter pilot could also fly straight to the destination with confidence that he was going to find them."
