Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, and Mrunal Thakur will be sharing screen space for the first time in the romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. They are currently shooting in Scotland for the film, and amid this, a video has gone viral. It shows the trio is recreating the iconic 90s track Chunnari Chunnari, originally picturised on Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen in Biwi No. 1. This has left all fans disappointed. They are very angry with the remake.
The video, shared by a fan on Instagram, shows them performing the song. The song is being choreographed by Remo D'Souza, who can also be spotted in the video. One of the fans wrote, 'Nooooo stop this please!." Another wrote, 'Please. Please. No. Please." 'Song ka satyanash!" a fan commented.

Currently being filmed in Scotland, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai features a star-studded cast including Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Rajeev Khandelwal, Mouni Roy, Kubbra Sait, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergill, and Rohit Saraf. Directed by the legendary comedy film director David Dhawan and produced under the banner of Tips Films Pvt. Ltd., the rom-com film is slated for a grand theatrical release in October 2025. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch this romantic comedy with its exciting ensemble cast.
Apart from this, Varun Dhawan has many films lined up in his kitty, including Border 2. Amid this, a new report has surfaced that the actor will be essaying the role of Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya in the film. He was a Param Vir Chakra awardee. Border 2 was announced in June last year. Sunny Deol is all set to reprise his iconic character from JP Dutta's 1997 blockbuster war film Border, in this highly anticipated sequel. The cast also includes Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. The film, directed by Anurag Singh, is backed by a powerhouse production team comprising Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Border 2 is set to release in the theatres on January 23, 2026.

Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival 2025 to be held from August 14-17
The skies over Thiruvidanthai Beach will display a dazzling splash of colours as the fourth edition of the Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival would be held from August 14 to 17. Set against the backdrop of the sparkling ECR shoreline, the four-day celebration will welcome kite flyers from across the globe. Adding to the excitement, this year's highlight will be a unique kite inspired by the Tamil alphabets. The event is being organised by Global Media Box, in association with Tamil Nadu Tourism. 'This year, visitors will be treated to a one-of-a-kind Tamil Alphabet kite,' said Benedict Savio, Founder of the Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival, and Event Director at Global Media Box. 'Another major attraction will be Vietnam's Traditional Flute Kite, which produces a melodious flute sound as it soars into the sky,' he added. 'Kite teams from France, Switzerland, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and India will showcase their skills and creativity,' Mr. Savio added. He also explained that these kites are specially designed and crafted after lot of research. 'Each of them are priced between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.3 lakh and some kites are even more expensive,' he said. The kite festival will be open to visitors from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival aims to evolve into a global extravaganza, with plans to host the World Kite Show Championship in the coming years, bringing together participants from over 40 countries.
