Love Island spoilers: The ex-Islanders return to the villa in shock shake-up as Maya Jama reveals TWO couples are at risk of brutal dumping just HOURS before finale
Host Maya Jama will return to the Majorca mansion before this year's series officially draws to a close after almost two months.
While the remaining Islanders countdown to Monday's live show, the 30-year-old's shock appearance leaves them reeling and questioning what's next.
In a first look at Sunday's episode, Maya stuns as she walks into the villa wearing a summery mini dress for the announcement.
Addressing the couples, she says: 'I have some very important news. Can you come and join me on the lawn?'
She then continues: 'As you know, last night Megan and Conor were dumped as a result of receiving the least amount of votes for most compatible couple.
Each former star then makes their entrance into the villa before gathering at the fire pit to share their honest opinions about the remaining couples
'I'm now going to reveal the two other couples who received the fewest votes and are at risk of being dumped from the island.'
In a further twist, Maya said that the bottom two couples' fate will be decided by their ex-contestants as they return to the show in a shock twist.
Each former star then makes their entrance into the villa before gathering at the fire pit to share their honest opinions about the remaining couples.
Maya says: 'Today, one more couple will be dumped from the Love Island Villa. And that decision will be made by some very familiar faces.'
Addressing the ex-Islanders, she added: 'Welcome back guys. You must now individually decide which couple is the least compatible. The couple with the most votes will be dumped from the island immediately.'
The ex-Islanders then have their say, leaving the couples at risk less than impressed by their comments.
Meg and Dejon, Shakira and Harry, Toni and Cach, Yasmin and Jamie, and Angel and Ty are all this year's Love Island finalists.
The winning couple will walk away with a cool £50,000 during the live finale on Monday night, with the British public determining who wins.
Meanwhile, Love Island has been hit by a fresh 'fix' row, after fans claimed that they've worked out which couple will be dumped from the villa.
Sources had previously claimed that the couple was chosen after many former Islanders began to 'question the interity' of their connection, but the dumped pair has not yet been revealed.
An insider told The Sun: 'This couple have been a big part of this series so this is a shocking moment.
'But having watched it back, ex- Islanders have become privy to action they weren't fully aware of and it left them more than questioning the integrity of this connection.'
Now fans are convinced that despite a huge row in Friday's episode, Meg and Dejon will keep their places in the villa, having already been saved once over fan favourites Megan and Conor.

Taking to social media, fans expressed their disbelief that the seemingly incompatible couple were receiving more votes than other islanders.
Addressing the ITV show's official X account, one fan fumed: 'FIX - you dumped the most natural compatible warm couple Conor and Megan and kept in devious Dejon and Fatal Attraction Meg just for the ratings. Its a fix love island [sic].'
Others agreed, writing: 'No sorry but love island. If they don't dump Meg and Dijon on Sunday I know it's 1000% a fix.
'No ex islander in their right might wouldn't vote for Meg and Dijon. They know how the public feel. It'll be you that's told them not to vote for them.'
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend join Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez for a double date aboard their superyacht
Jeff Bezos and enjoyed an A-list double date on Sunday as they welcomed Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti aboard their $485m superyacht, Koru. Leo, 50, and Vittoria, 27, know their way around the ship, having previously joined the couple for a trip last summer in Sardinia. This time, however, the quartet were living it up in Ibiza, Spain. They were casually clad for the day at sea, with Leo wearing a plain white T-shirt and shorts, as well as his trademark baseball cap and shades. Vittoria, meanwhile, opted for a blue strapless top paired with baggy pants. Jeff, 61, and his new wife Lauren, 55, looked in good spirits as they gave Leo and Vittoria a warm welcome. Lauren opted for clashing prints, layering a printed kimono over a bikini, while Jeff matched tropical swimming trunks with a navy T-shirt. The double date comes just weeks after the Amazon founder and presenter tied the knot in Venice - with the ceremony attracting criticism for its extravagance. Leonardo and Vittoria were among the A-list guests which also included Sydney Sweeney, Oprah Winfrey and Orlando Bloom. However, Leonardo - who is known for his environmental advocacy - was branded a 'hypocrite' for flying to Venice for the ceremony. The actor has previously been open about his activism and a few months earlier in March, he had slammed the Albanese government for giving the green light to a mine expansion in Western Australia. Yet social media users called him out for flying to the wedding and criticized him for supporting Jeff amid Amazon's substantial carbon footprint. According to The Guardian, over 90 jets flew into the airport in the romantic city as celebrities attended the nuptials. Feeling's neutral: Leo opted for a classic summer combo of white T-shirt and gray shorts Jeff's superyacht is named Koru, which translates to 'new beginnings' in Maori, according to The Independent. The Amazon founder initially commissioned the construction of the vessel for $485million in 2018, and it took almost five years to build. It has three decks and is 250ft tall. When commissioned, the yacht was the second-largest sailing yacht in the world.

Angel, 26, opted for a plunging black dress with a see-through lace skirt, while lady in red Yas, 24, stunned in a one shoulder frock complete with a thigh-high slash. Shakira, 22, opted for a blue satin number while Toni, 24, switched it up with a black bandeau top and matching tulle skirt. Last night Meg Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams were axed from the villa, just missing out on a place in the final, when ex-Islanders returned to cast the vote. And fans have backed their decision - insisting the controversial couple didn't deserve a spot in the final. Yas and Jamie, 26, are currently favourites to win the 2025 series. In a poll of Sun readers, they scored 28 per cent of the vote to scoop the prize, followed by Toni and Cach on 18.9 per cent and Shakira and Harry a whisker behind with 18.7 per cent. There's no denying Yas has been a stand-out Islander and made a splash the moment she entered the villa as a bombshell four days after the series kicked off. She stole the show when she offered 25-year-old Meg's boyfriend Dejon, 26, a threesome with her and Toni. And she had fans instantly obsessed with her perfect posture and quickly earned the nickname 'YasGPT' after a viral theory about her being an AI bot. One fan commented on social media at the time: 'Absolutely love her honesty. She could have been more ambiguous and led him down a path.' And another said: 'These are the kind of people who should be winning love island - setting an example of mature conversations.' Love Island finalist is ‘producer plant' claim fans after spotting FIVE clues
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island fans are convinced one show star is a "producer plant" just hours before the show final. They have claimed the ITV2 show hunk - who is battling it out for the £50k cash prize in tonight's final - "feels off" with a series of behaviour traits. The 23-year-old entered proceedings at the Casa Amor stage and coupled up with Shakira, with the pair then being voted the most compatible by the public. Yet a few days later, after briefly being coupled up with Lauren, he found a spark with Angel when she ranked him as her number one boy. Despite the duo appearing to go from strength to strength, a portion of fans are hugely sceptical about his place on the show. One took to Reddit to outline their view that the site engineer has been placed in the villa by show bosses and said: "Okay, hear me out. I genuinely think Ty might be a producer plant. "Just my POV, but there are too many things that feel off." They then outlined five reasons why this may be the case and argued: "Starting from Casa — he didn't seem to care much whether he ended up with Helena or Shakira. (Yes, maybe he just wanted to secure a spot, but the indifference felt too flat.). "When Shakira and Ty did the voting to dump a couple he just agreed with whatever Shakira said. "Then when Shakira dumped him for Conor, there was zero reaction. He was just suddenly was okay with Lauren." For the fourth reason, they continued: "Then, just as he's settling with Lauren, boom — Angel enters, and suddenly he dumps Lauren like a formality." Love Island's Ty kisses with his eyes open They then wrapped their argument and put: "And through all of this, no real emotional depth, no strong connections, and almost no air time. "It honestly seems like he's just going with whatever the producers lay out for him. He hasn't actively pursued anyone. No spark, no persuasion — just vibes and scripted transitions. "I feel like they brought in Angel mostly for Harry — and to stir things up. Ty would have been so cool to re-couple with Helena, especially since they didn't during Casa. Anyone else feel like something's off?" Fans were quick to respond to the wild claim. Another replied: "He's just not as attention seeking as other guys. All of them and none of them are producer plants. They are all told what to do by producers." A third then wrote: "I mean this would align with the fact Ty was on the dry run (where he both met and slept with Lauren before the show). "You definitely could be going somewhere with this but I'm unsure how much manipulation the producers can realistically do." COUPLE DOUBT The claims came after fans already had doubts about how committed Angel was to Ty. Eyebrows were raised as Ty asked Angel if they could 'go exclusive' – essentially making them boyfriend/girlfriend in all but name – yet her reaction left viewers believing there's doubt in place for Angel. Throw in their differing lifestyles, and some are thinking that they could already be on the way out. A Reddit poster explained: 'Hear me out. Angel is a fairly big Instagram influencer, who if you look at her instagram seems to be all about the boujee life. 'Her entire feed is her hanging with super stunning models all with huge followings on yachts in Spain, ski trips in the French Alps, constant trips to Dubai and seems to be living a pretty expensive glamorous life.' 'Ty is a sweetheart but does seem just like a genuine working class guy from a normal background,' they added. 'Absolutely nothing wrong with that, I just find it hard to believe this is the type of guy Angel is genuinely interested in with the lifestyle she projects on Instagram.' Other fans are convinced the duo had a connection before the show even started, while others were left confused by Ty's kissing technique. The remaining couples still in the villa and battling it out in the final are: Ty and Angel, Toni and Cach, Shakira and Harry, and Yasmin and Jamie.
