Documents show they requested radioactive isotopes from a Russian supplier. Experts say the visit raises alarms over potential military applications and signals a shift in Russia's stance on Iran's nuclear ambitions. Several delegates were sanctioned figures, including experts in radiation and neutron generation. The trip reportedly had FSB approval, fuelling suspicions of deepening Tehran-Moscow cooperation in sensitive research. Neither Iran nor Russia commented on the revelations.
