Drivers and mechanics were reportedly informed this morning that the firm will shut its doors by the end of the week, according to The Courier.
The bus company, which has long-standing contracts with local councils for school transport in the Dundee and Angus regions, has left staff and customers reeling with its abrupt decision.
One employee, speaking to the local paper, slammed the closure, saying: 'This has come completely out of the blue.
"Everyone was stood on the yard completely shocked. We feel totally helpless.
'That's more than 20 drivers and mechanics who won't have jobs next week. How is that fair?
'There were a lot of jobs on the books, and these jobs have been cancelled for no real reason.
"Customers have been told at short notice buses were having 'technical issues'.
"They're having to make new arrangements with no time to do so.'
The move has sparked outrage among staff, who described the decision as 'out-of-the-blue' and unfair, leaving many scrambling to find new employment.
They added: 'What I do know is there are 20-plus drivers and mechanics ready to do what needs to be done, and buses that work and can do the work.

'We want to make sure the kids get to school.'
Fishers' Tours is one of the largest private hire firms in the Tayside region offering short and long-distance travel across Scotland.
As well as public sector contracts, they arrange transport for punters for music events and football matches.
A spokesperson for Dundee City Council said: 'We have been aware of the situation and are currently looking at the details.'
A spokesperson for Angus Council said:'We are aware of difficulties being experienced by one of our school transport bus providers, which relates to routes following schools – (primary schools) Monikie, Murroes, Birkhill; (high schools) Carnoustie, Monifieth and Webster's; and Forfar Academy.
'Firm assurances have been given to us that there will be no impact this week (Tuesday 20 May to Friday 23 May) and we are now urgently looking at alternative provision from Tuesday 27 May (Monday 26 May is an in-service day).
'We will be contacting those entitled to free home to school transport directly via the Group call system today and will update them again on Wednesday 28 May.
'This will affect all users of these school transport services, including those who access the services by either paying a fare, or via the under-22 free travel scheme. Unfortunately, we are unable to contact these people directly.
'Our priority is to ensure the continuous provision of home to school transport and we will provide further updates as soon as they are available. Please monitor our dedicated school transport webpage which will detail the latest information.'

Whole Foods is opening in midtown Miami this month, spotlighting 130-plus Florida producers
After much anticipation, Whole Foods Market's Edgewater location is finally set to open: the grocery chain will officially debut a new 53,400-square-foot store located at 2910 Biscayne Boulevard at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 26. And what better way to celebrate than with free coffee and tasty breakfast treats? On opening morning, customers will enjoy complimentary java from Wells Coffee and breakfast items from Zak the Baker. And if you're a true early bird, the first 300 customers in line will receive a custom tote bag and Secret Saver coupon featuring offers up to $100 off. Don't feel like waking up early? Later in the day, Gelatys will pass out complimentary gelato pops to afternoon shoppers. To mark the opening, Whole Foods is also donating food to The Caring Place, a Miami-based organization focused on food rescue, as part of its Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program. The new Edgewater outpost will also be serving up serious Miami vibes: along with bright and bold decor nods that mimic the city's vibrant spirit (think bird motifs and tropical plants throughout), the new location will spotlight an assortment of more than 500 locally made items from 130-plus Florida suppliers. We're talking Key West pink shrimp from Cox's Seafood Co. and grouper from Greg Abrams Seafood over at the sustainably-focused, full-service seafood counter; hyper-fresh lychee and passion fruit from EcoRipe Tropicals on display in the produce section; hand-wrapped fresh mozzarella from Mozzarita and rosemary flatbread from Jennifer's Homemade on stock in the specialty department; and ground beef from Adam's Ranch Natural Beef at the butchery. A full-service coffee bar will pour Cuban-style coffee drinks (from cortaditos to café con leche); a prepared foods department will stock fresh pizza, made-to-order sandwiches and daily-changing sushi selections from Sushi Maki; and the extensive beverage offerings will include more than 240 craft beers (including Florida-born faves like Sunshine City IPA from Green Bench Brewing and Ever Haze IPA from Tripping Animals) as well as ready-to-drink cocktails and more than 700 wines. Cheers to that!

This U.S. hotel was just named one of the World's Most Beautiful by Prix Versailles
Announced this week from the fancy folks at Prix Versailles, the 2025 " World's Most Beautiful Hotels" list looks at newly opened or reopened hotels with an eye towards design and architecture. And on this very curated list of only 16 hotels throughout the world—spanning international stunners like the Todos Santos Boutique Hotel in Mexico, the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai, UAE and the Hotel du Couvent in Nice, France—only one picturesque U.S. property made the rankings. RECOMMENDED: These are the best hotels in America for a vacation or staycation Meet: The Manner hotel in New York City wins. The Manner opened in September 2024 in SoHo, a neighborhood with a history of housing artists in an area with distinctive cast iron architecture. Inside the property, artsy furnishings and color choices dazzle the eye. Milan-based architecture Hannes Peer designed the rooms to pay homage to Italy, with tones of ochre, blue and sand contrasting with dark wood, blood red and navy. The furniture is handmade and the artwork on display was crafted by Nicholas Shurey, Giovanni de Francesco and Alex Proba. Murals commissioned from Elvira Solana were painted by her on canvas at her studio in Madrid and then rolled up and shipped to New York for installation in the hotel's Otter Restaurant. They are beautiful muted-palette evocations of New York history, such as one panel that shows the face of the Statue of Liberty being prepared. The murals completely wrap around the windowless restaurant. Other Prix Versailles winning hotels can be found in London, Munich, Singapore and more. Perhaps not surprisingly, two hotels are located in Rome. The only other country with two hotels on the prestigious list is France, with one in Nice and one in Paris proper. The Prix Versailles has been around since 2015, acknowledging design and architecture of structures throughout the world, including this most recent look at beautiful museums. Here is the full 2025 list of the World's Most Beautiful Hotels: 1. Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab: Dubai, United Arab Emirates 2. Mandarin Oriental Qianmen: Beijing, China 3. Rosewood Munich: Munich, Germany 4. Al Moudira: Luxor, Egypt 5. Hôtel du Couvent: Nice, France 6. Hôtel Hana: Paris, France 7. Mandarin Oriental Mayfair: London, United Kingdom 8.
