As reported by my colleague, Gianluigi Longari, Bologna's Serie A rivals, Udinese, are also keeping a close eye on the emerging Scottish talent, so there should be new and important developments in the coming days.
Miller recently made his senior Scotland debut and has collected two international appearances.

A product of Cambusnethan Talbot and Motherwell FC academies, Miller scored four goals and provided eight assists in 39 appearances across all competitions in 2024-25.
Ferguson, Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour, Josh Doig and Ché Adams are the other Scottish footballers currently playing in Serie A.

Rangers draw with Motherwell in Scottish Premiership opener
Rangers drew Motherwell 1-1 in their first match of the Scottish Premiership Tavernier 14' ; Longelo 87' Rangers took an early lead as Joe Rothwell's corner was met by a firm header from club captain James Tavernier. Rangers controlled the remainder of the opening half, taking nine shots to Motherwell's two. However, Motherwell began the second-half on the front-foot, creating numerous chances including a rebounded shot which forced a last-ditch clearance from John Souttar. In spite of an energised second-half performance and several nervy moments from Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland, Motherwell were seemed unable to find an equaliser. Then, in the final minutes of regulation, Emmanuel Longelo found the bottom corner with a left-footed finish having fallen over just seconds earlier. As a result, Russell Martin comes away from Fir Park with a disappointing draw in his first league match as Rangers manager. Martin will be hoping his team can improve on tonight's result as they face Czech side Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday in UEFA Champions League qualifying. 📸 Steve Welsh - 2025 Getty Images

Di Marzio – Inter Milan Striker One Step Away From Joining Cagliari
Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito is one step away from joining Cagliari. This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInterNews. He reports that the clubs have come close to an agreement for the 23-year-old's transfer today. It has always looked clear that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter Milan this summer. The Italian youth team international has gone out on a number of loan spells. He has played for the likes SPAL, Venezia, Basel, Anderlecht, Bari, and Sampdoria. Last season, Esposito was out on loan with Empoli. While his individual form was strong, this was not enough to prevent the Tuscans from suffering relegation to Serie B. Therefore, Empoli did not sign Esposito on a permanent basis. The 23-year-old returned to Inter, with whom he travelled to the United States for the Club World Cup. Esposito even started a couple matches for the Nerazzurri at that tournament. However, that hardly changed his fate – he is not a part of Inter's plans. (Photo by) There have been a couple of clubs to show an interest in signing Esposito this summer. One of these is Fiorentina. La Viola have reportedly spent the last few weeks eyeing up a deal for the 23-year-old. However, Cagliari are also reportedly keen on signing Esposito. And according to Gianluca Di Marzio, it is the Sardinians who have gotten close to a deal for the Inter striker. The Sky transfer expert reports that today, there was another round of talks between Inter and Cagliari. And these talks were just about decisive. Therefore, it should only be a matter of time before Esposito joins Cagliari.
