EastEnders fans fear for Vicki Fowler as Joel Marshall's behaviour takes shock turn
It was another tense night in EastEnders tonight, as villain Joel Marshall back to his old ways. However, fans now fear for his stepmother Vicki Fowler, as the teen made a shock comments towards her.
We've seen the misogynistic teen get away with a number of sick acts, most recently, releasing Stacey Slater's SecretCam footage online.
Last week, it looked like there had been a breakthrough after his father Ross had thrown his laptop in the sink after discovering a number of up skirting videos on there. However, after getting away with releasing Stacey's videos, the teen seems to have gone back to his cunning ways. It comes after an EastEnders legend was rushed to hospital after a deadly attack by a familiar face.
In tonight's episode, fans were left in shock when he called Avani a "murderer" for terminating her baby, after she had gotten pregnant after a one-night stand with the teen.
He then raised his hand as if he was about to slap her, but it was quickly caught by his stepmother Vicki, who warned him he needed to go home.
As she had a chat with him when they got home, things took a dark turn, as he told Vicki that she was controlling his "weak" dad Ross. He then began saying shock statements, such as: "Reproduction is the purpose of motherhood."
He then continued to say to Vicki: "My dad's your doormat, you walk all over him. You pick away at him until he forgets he's a man. You will never control me the way you control my dad!
"If he wasn't weak, he would have put you in your place months ago! Push me, and you'll soon find out a proper slapping will do you the world of good," he continued.
The statement left Vicki in shock, as well as fans, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss. "Joel just said what to Vicky?? #EastEnders" questioned one, while another wrote: "That Joel guy. Just nasty," said a second.
Others fear for Vicki as one said: "Oh Joel is soooo gonna do something awful to Vicki!" while another worried fan said: "Whoever first speculated that Joel will attack Vicki - I think you're right and I almost expected it during that scene. I wonder if she'll tell Ross what he said."
Elsewhere in the episode, it was a close call for Joel as he headed over to Ravi's house to find Avani. Of course, Ravi being Ravi, tried to go for Joel, but Priya warned him to stay away as it was "what he wants".
But will Ravi found out about Joel's latest interaction with Avani and how will he react if he does?

A bone-chilling scream sends shivers in unexpected Coronation Street horror
Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine)'s first experience of being foster parents on Coronation Street hasn't been easy. They've been taking care of Shanice and Joanie Michaelis (Molly Kilduff and Savanna Pennington), after their parents Mick and Lou (Joe Layton and Farrel Hegarty) both ended up in prison. The girls had an unsettled life with their parents, with Mick often violent towards Lou. Mick's behaviour became worse after he discovered that their eldest child, son Brody (Ryan Mulvey), is actually the biological son of Kit Green (Jacob Roberts). A violent rampage which started with him beating up Lou and ended with him killing PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) meant that Mick will be in prison for many years. Soon afterwards, Lou was also jailed for a violent assault on Gary Windass (Mikey North). Against this turbulent backdrop, Sally and Tim have done their best to provide a safe and loving environment for the girls, but it's been a challenge. A trivial disagreement between Sally and Tim led to Shanice getting upset as it reminded her of the violent arguments she was used to witnessing. Then the two girls repeatedly fought with each other, with Joanie's behaviour sometimes turning very nasty. When she got upset and threw the TV remote at her little sister, Sally and Tim were shocked to see that Shanice had numerous bruises on her. They talked to Brody about it and he insisted that Shanice was being truthful when she said she'd fallen at school. He insisted the fight was a one-off and the sisters were usually fine with each other. Viewers knew that Brody was covering for the girls, as we've seen him previously warning his sisters to be on their best behaviour in case they're taken away from Sally and Tim. Brody's terrified that social services will try to split his siblings up and he's made it his mission to keep the family together. He recently planned to do a runner with Shanice and Joanie but was stopped by Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove). More Trending In upcoming episodes Tim hears about this plan from Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and he talks to Brody and tells him that social services only want what's best for the family. Later Brody finds out that Lou has been sentenced to four years in prison and he breaks the news to his shocked sisters. They're distraught and Sally does her best to calm them. It's not the best time for a social worker and a psychologist to visit the family, but after talking to Sally and Tim they say that they're happy for the family to stay together with the Metcalfes. Vinny receives a visit from the police in Emmerdale as he is tormented by guilt
There's been a dark cloud following Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) around Emmerdale ever since he almost kissed Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). He's spiralled and started questioning what it means for his sexuality, and whether he does fancy his pal. Vinny is now faced with the reality that he might ruin Gabby's (Rosie Bentham) life, and rather than do that, he'd sooner lie to himself. But he may not have a choice thanks to Mike. In a bid to find some answers for himself, Vinny turned to the internet. He came across Mike, who seemed to be a like-minded friend. Mike probed Vinny on whether or not he was gay and reassured him everything he was going through was normal. But Vinny found himself in even more turmoil when he arranged to meet Mike knowing that it's not right, but later snogged Gabby to remind himself of their love. Vinny and Mike's friendship progressed, and after Vinny received an urgent message from Mike, Mike arrived at Vinny's revealing he'd been kicked out by his partner. As Vinny fumbled over how to help his friend, Mike hinted there is something between them, leaving Vinny more awkward than ever. He denied it, which saw Mike flip out. Vinny was badly beaten by vicious Mike but is allowing Gabby to believe it was Kammy. It's not a great move as now she wants to go to the police and get Kammy done for assault. Vinny is being eaten alive by guilt, especially when Gabby realises their wedding rings aren't the ones she chose. More Trending Vinny tries to move on, but he's horrified when the police arrive at the scrapyard. They ask him if he knows a man called Graham going by the name of Mike. Vinny has already paid him off, but now Mike's being investigated for extortion. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? EastEnders' Jack makes a discovery about Oscar as tensions boil over
EastEnders' Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is on a mission to get to the truth after he witnesses a tense exchange between nephew Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) next week. Both Oscar and Howie are currently covering up huge secrets, which look set to be rumbled when local copper Jack starts searching for clues in forthcoming scenes on the BBC soap. Earlier this month, viewers saw Oscar knock Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) unconscious when he broke into No.20 to steal cash to pay off a group of thugs from his time in young offenders, who were threatening his family. Howie later uncovered evidence that proved Oscar was responsible for the robbery and Patrick's attack, but rather than turn the teenager over to the police, he blackmailed him into handing over the cash, which Howie kept for himself. With Patrick now back home, he has been struggling with anxiety over his attack. Riddled with guilt, Oscar has tried to ease his conscience by striking up a friendship with Patrick and helping out Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter). Next week, Howie is furious when he catches Oscar and Patrick playing dominoes. He's then further angered when Oscar accepts an invite to Patrick's stag do ahead of his wedding to Yolande. Howie later collars the youngster, demanding he stay away from Patrick. However, they are both unaware that Jack has been watching on in the distance. As the day of Patrick and Yolande's stag and hen parties arrives, Jack quizzes Oscar about his confrontation with Howie, but his nephew gives him short shrift.
