JEE results: IIT-H zone's strong showing

HYDERABAD: Two candidates from the IIT-Hyderabad zone made it to the top 10 list in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced 2025, the results of which were announced on Monday. The examination, conducted by IIT-Kanpur, was held on May 18.
Arnav Singh achieved an All India Rank (AIR) of 9 in the Common Rank List (CRL) with a score of 319, while Vadlamudi Lokesh secured the 10th position with a score of 317. Dharmana Gyana Rutvik Sai achieved 18th rank, just ahead of Vangala Ajay Reddy (19) and Avanaganti Anirudh Reddy (20).
Among female candidates from the zone, Korikana Rasagnya was the highest-ranked, securing 78th position in the CRL.

To mark the occasion, the Chief Minister presented shawls to the top-performing students. The directors of Narayana Educational Institutions - Dr P Sindhura Narayana, Sharani Narayana and also Prem Ponguru were present. Addressing the students, the Chief Minister lauded their dedication and perseverance, emphasising that gaining admission into a prestigious institution like an IIT is a commendable milestone. He encouraged them to aim even higher and contribute meaningfully to the development of the Telugu States and the nation as a whole. The Chief Minister appreciated the directors of Narayana Educational Institutions – Dr P Sindhura Narayana and Sharani Narayana for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

Post-school, she would take a brief pause before revising for NEET once again. She shared that she initially found physics challenging, so she put in extra effort to improve. Later, when chemistry became a weak point, she focused on it with consistent daily study. She relied on NCERT textbooks and regularly practiced with mock tests and sample questions to strengthen her preparation. Palansha is a native of Agra, Uttar Pradesh but was raised in Mumbai and is currently staying in Mumbai. She did her schooling from DAV Public School, Airoli and subsequently did her 11th and 12th from Jaipuriar School. Her father, Anshu Agarwal is an engineer at Reliance and her mother, Payal Agarwal is a teacher at Euro School.

IIT-BHU's session for JEE Advanced qualifiers on June 11

Varanasi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), BHU will organised an open house session for candidates who qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2025 on June 11. The session will be conducted online (3.30pm-6.30pm) to ensure wider participation and accessibility. According to an IIT-BHU spokesperson, the session will be chaired by institute's director Prof Amit Patra. Key academic and administrative leaders of the institute, including the deans, the chief proctor, the council of wardens. During the session, prospective students will have the opportunity to interact directly with the leadership team and gain insights into the admission process, hostel facilities, campus security, and other aspects of life at IIT (BHU). All queries and concerns of the candidates will be addressed in detail. Registration for participation is mandatory and must be completed by 6pm on June 10. Only registered candidates will be granted access to the online session via Google Meet on June 11.
